Introduction

Welcome to 2227 in the age of technology. The world is a wonderful place without war and without poverty. At least, that's how it seems on the outside. Below the floating cities in the sky and the drifting countries built on the ocean, the world is a desolate place, ruled by one faction or another. A drug called Iridescent sweeps through the dark alleyways, races rule the streets, and gangs own all of the land. For some, it is an endless hell with the Skies and Oceans just out of reach. For others, it is the best they will ever accomplish, ruling those that fear them in the Underlands. Either way, it is nothing like the paradises dangling on an invisible chain in front of their faces.

However, there is one group that is made to seek justice in the Underlands and persecute those that dare to oppose the law. They are known as Camelot V2.0.1 and they are the true rulers on the ground. Camelot is not all that it seems though. It was created by the Skies and Oceans to lower the criminal activity that was leaking into their utopia. Composed of cyborgs with extraordinary abilities and androids funded by only the wealthiest of the world's people, Camelot is far from what it began as. Now, it is broken into three factions: the Loyal, the Middles, and the Abandoners.

Camelot's members are mostly children who were kidnapped off of the streets of Underland, the Skies, and the Oceans and experimented on in the attempt to create the perfect human. Most of the members have no recollection of their past or how they became a member of Camelot.

The Loyals care intensely about their duties, bordering on near obsession. They possess blind loyalty to the people of the Skies and the Oceans. Loyals do whatever they are told to and do not doubt the demands of their superiors. They would happily kill, arrest, or torture if told to do so. Most of the Loyals have had the memories of their time before they joined erased.

The Middles do care about doing their job, but only to a certain extent. They rarely listen to people from the Skies and Oceans, but they act when it is obviously the right thing to do. They do what they must to get money and keep their jobs and don't hesitate to arrest or kill on sight if the need arises. However, the majority of the Middles harbor resentment against the Skies and the Oceans.

The Abandoners do not care about anyone but themselves. They are cold-blooded killing machines who work for one thing: money. They refuse to take orders or be talked to like subordinates. The Abandoners often kill anyone in their path, regardless of repercussions, and are generally considered the "tanks" of Camelot V2.0.1. Nearly all of the Abandoners harbour severe resentment towards those of the Skies and Oceans.

Toggle Rules

~ No godmodding, etc... Every character should have their weaknesses as well as their strengths.
~ Every character has an important role, so don't worry about your character not being important.
~ Please, make reservations in the OOC. Reservations can only be held for three days, PM me if you need an extension.
~ To prove you've read to here, please include your FC and a gif of them in your reservations.
~ Please be literate.
~ Romance is encouraged, but it should not be the focal point for all relationships.
~ Originality is very much appreciated.
~ Anime FCs are required, any real FCs will be turned away.
~ To prove you read the rules, put your character's type (cyborg or android) in the OOC.
~ Do not physically maim another person's character without their permission.
~ No gender changes, no exceptions.
~ 200 word posts are preferred. Try to get a grasp for your character: their emotions, how they appear, their actions, etc.
~Please note that this is a challenging RP, your character will be missing something many people have and will therefore have some issues, things that make them broken people.
