What would you do for popularity? For beauty? Everything you could ever want...?

And how far would you go to keep those Desires...?

Redwood High School is just like any other high school. Filled with harsh bullies, uncaring teachers, and all the cliques. The poor and the rich attend there, the ugly and the beautiful... judgment swims everywhere, and most of the kids there have the lost the hope of ever being on a pedestal, of being noticed by the others, of becoming that one kid who was remembered for being rich or being known, for being so pretty or so handsome. Once in a lifetime does the chance come to any teenager across the world, and now, three lowly kids are given that chance.

No one expected to find a demon residing in an old mansion that suddenly seemed to come to life. No one expected this demon to grant wishes, and give anyone whatever they wanted. And certainly, no one expected to ever have to pay for their desires... in blood.

Now, three kids have what they want. One is the most known kid in school, another is the most beautiful thing anyone could lay eyes on and the last has all the money they need to become the center of attention. But this demon expects blood, and will keep his contract binded until he gets when he wants. And the worst part is, these kids have no idea how far deep they are getting themselves into. If they can't pay up by certain deadlines, they become servants to this demon's whim forever. And the deadlines are becoming shorter and shorter as time passes.

Are these kids willing to take more and more lives just for the sake of their greediness, or will they sacrifice themselves and stop murdering others to pay for their own mistakes?

BEEEEEP! BEEEEP! BEEEEP! BEEEEP!

Regina's eyes slowly opened from a stiff and restless slumber, her vision groggy and blurry as her eyelashes fluttered slightly and started to blink a few times after the long rest that had been filled with envious dreams that would never happen. Her limbs were warm and stiff, her toes wiggling lightly as she remained curled up inside her soft, fuzzy blankets with her head buried into a soft pillow as her dark fading red hair lay in soft tangles across the pillow's surface and her hands were curled up against her breasts that were covered by a thin tang top, her bare legs sliding against the sheets as she looked over at her plain alarm clock sitting on the wood nightstand. 6:30. School started way too fucking early.

She let out a soft groan before she rolled her blankets to the right and pushed them against the wall, for her bed was in a corner so she wouldn't fall off from her sometimes chaotic sleeping patterns. Her knees felt like wood as she slowly got up, pushing herself with her pale hands and stumbling over to her dresser as she pulled out some clothes and threw them onto her bed behind her with sleepy eyes. It was Friday, and she just wanted to make it through this school day, come back home, and lock herself in her room with some video games since she didn't work tonight. Her hands slowly but surely slipped her tang top off and pulled on one of her black bras that pushed her breasts together, as she then struggled to get on some tight dark jeans and a black tang top with a pin up zombie on it along with a dark black and red flannel that matched. Her bare feet were covered in white socks as she struggled to jerk them on while she sat on her bed, falling backwards in a strong pull and staring up at her white ceiling and she closed her eyes for a moment. Just a few more minutes...

"REGINA! BREAKFAST!" Regina's eyes flashed open and her knee was still upright, for she had only a minute to fall back asleep before her mother had called up to her to come get her food. She sighed and got up, walking to the mirror and smearing some eyeliner over her top lid with some thick mascara and a light application of powder on her pale face, and she grabbed her cell phone and her black messenger bag that was lying dead on the floor with a few school items that Regina just didn't care about. Her feet daintily ran down the stairs into the kitchen where she smelled bacon, the scent filling her nostrils with delight before she saw her little brother asleep on the couch with a toy truck in his arms and her father asleep next to him. Her eyes rolled before she sat down at the table and a plate of bacon and eggs with a glass of orange juice was placed in front of her.

"Thanks, mom." Regina said, drinking the juice quickly before diving into the food as her stomach growled in complaints at the delightful sight and smell before her. Of course, Regina couldn't help but glance at her mother. Her mother was a strong, curvaceous woman who had gifted Regina her busty torso and dirty brown hair, but her mother was not as pale and had shorter genes then Regina did, but only by a few inches. She smiled over at her daughter before she flipped some more bacon in the pan as Regina pushed the almost finished plate away and got up.

"Any plans tonight, love?" Her mother asked, scooping more of the bacon onto a plate as Regina rested against the breakfast car with her fingers pressing into her phone to unlock it, the touch screen conversant and annoying at the same time.

"Not really." Regina said with a shrug, and her mother frowned at her daughter's bland and common answer.

"Why not?" She questioned. This caused Regina to glance up in annoyance as she tucked some hair behind her ear and then placed her phone down onto the counter, sighing softly before finally looking her mother back into the eyes.

"It's Friday. I'd like to come home and relax. Alright? I have friends, mom. I just don't like to hang out all the time." she said with a strained and irritated voice, enough to let her mother know that she didn't want to discuss is. Of course, her mother nodded in disappointment but then put on an encouraging smile as she gave Regina a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Alright. You have a good day at school. I love you." Her mother said, smiling before tossing her the keys to Regina's black Ford Escape. Regina smiled lightly before she turned and walked to the door.

"Love you, Regina!" Her dad called sleepily, his eyes half open as he had managed to wake up from his exhausted rest. It was obvious he had been up all night with Roger since Roger had been having some severe sleeping problems that the doctors thought was insomnia. Poor dad.

"Love you too. See you later." Regina then slipped out of the doorway and she made her way down the driveway to her car.

----------------------------------------------------------

The car stopped in one of the parking spaces back behind the school, where the students parking lot was located and had it's own door. Regina sighed, staring at herself in her small mirror overhead and struggled to fix her hair as her hands grew slightly sweaty. This was everyday for her, being nervous and trying to look as perfect as possible to avoid harassment and hopefully, gain someone's attention even though she had tried all her academic life. She just wasn't popular material, she guessed... but for some reason she still envied them, and still tried.

She stepped out of the car, dashing up to the school door as students crowded inside through the tiny space to get to classes on time. Regina's converse sneakers squeaked on the floor softly as she blended in with the crowd, her eyes cast down and her hand fidgeting with her hair as she walked faster to reach her locker without any glares or weird stares... but she wasn't dressed weird. Why would they? Oh, because, society sucks, Regina thought to herself as she shook her head slightly in agitation with her own putrid thoughts and turned the corner of the large Redwood high school and she made her way down another hallway before reaching her locker. Her fingers fidgeted with the locker combination and she shoved some things inside before putting some journals into her bag. In the year of 2012, most schools were using ipads as text books so her bag wasn't as heavy as it used to be.

Regina shut the locker then, turning slightly as she saw a grew of some of the "upper class" girls crowded around a locker, laughing and flipping their perfect hair and showing off their pretty little nails. She could hear them laughing about parties and boys, having sex and doing drugs... how fun it was to be so up there, how lovely it was to fit in. Of course, this made Regina's heart sink and her fists tighten slightly as she left her locker and went towards the classroom that had World History inside of it. She passed the group, feeling a few stares but not hearing any dark words... but she knew they were thinking it, even if she didn't have anything wrong with her. But then again, she didn't have makeup plastered to her face and she wasn't carrying around the most expensive purse. So maybe, that was wrong to them. It made sense, didn't it?

She sunk inside the classroom, taking her assigned seat that was closest to the windows where she saw cloudy skies forming and rain dripping onto the window panes as everyone was rushing into the classroom at the warning bell. She forgot... who did she know in this class? Oh. Yes. Sarah, and Aiden. The only two people she got along with or had the guts to even talk to in here. Perhaps, that would help her get through her Friday better.

RING! The final bell buzzed and the door shut. The teacher started his lecture.

Aiden Pierce

Aiden awoke the sharp sound of knocking on the oak door to his room. He opened his left eye - his right eye swallowed by the cushy pillow - and stared at nothing, into the darkness. With a groan, he squeezed his eye shut again and yelled out a gruff, irritated 'What!?'. His only reply was a low scoff, which he assumed could only come from his ass of a stepfather.

"Prick," Aiden muttered to himself before sitting up, the navy blue sheets slipping off of his bare torso. After rubbing his eyes, he glanced over at the digital clock on his nightstand - 5:58am. With a groan, he ran his fingers through his hair. In his mind, forcing people to wake up before 9am should be considered abuse, and people who voluntarily wake up before 10am should be considered self abusive. Slowly, he swung his legs over the edge of the bed, the soles of his feet lightly tickled by the soft, green carpet. Leaning forward, he rested his elbows against his knees, resting his chin in one hand and closing his eyes in an attempt to just get a little more relaxation in before he had to leave for-

Good morning! And this is 83.9 FM Radio, and this is All Things Considered, your morning radio news station - The time is 6 o'clock!

By the time Aiden realized it was just his Radio Alarm, he had pressed himself into the corner of the room out of sheer terror. Slowly, his muscles relaxed and he slowed his breathing, which he hadn't even realized had sped up. With a growl, he smacked the snooze button before making his way to his closet. Muttering, he changed into a pair of blue jeans, a thin, long sleeved gray shirt, and a plain, black T-Shirt. Moments later, he dragged himself to the sink in his bathroom. Brushing his teeth, he looked into the mirror and locked eyes with his reflection. He paused for a moment, letting the toothbrush just hang from his mouth as he leaned closer. Turning his head to the left, he inspected his reflection's right eye. The iris was faintly green, but had faded such an amount that it simply looked a pale gray. There was nothing about the eye that - if you hadn't known it's previous color - would tell you it used to be green. Another sharp knocking on the door reminded him that he had to hurry. Spitting into the sink and rinsing out his brush, he left the bathroom and bedroom to walk down the hall and knock on his sister's door.

"Oh my god! Go away!" Was the response from inside the room. Aiden, however, was nowhere near awake enough for her shit right now.

"'Kay then, I'll grab some Toaster Strudel and kindly fuck right off! It'll be great to have a day where i have the car to myself!" Not caring to hear her whining response. He knew his sister's car was in the shop and that walking to school would take longer than the recovery of the freaking golden fleece, but that was her problem if she didn't get up in time. There was no way in toasty burning hell he was going to be late because of her. Once he was far enough from his sister's room, he mimicked her mockingly in a high pitched before descending the stairs.

As he expected, his stepfather was sitting in the kitchen reading the newspaper - Dead silent. His mother, however, was sitting next to him and eating a plate of scrambled eggs and corned beef hash. After swallowing a mouthful, she stood up to greet him.

"Hello, sweetie." she greeted him with a warm embrace and a smile, patting his back. His mother was a slender woman with long, wavy brown hair and green eyes who seemed to always just be the sweetest woman she could be, all the time. "Did you sleep okay?" Aiden responded with a simple 'mhm' and a smile, returning her embrace. Aiden loved his mother more than anyone could ever understand, and if anyone ever harmed her in any way, he'd make sure they'd be drinking through straws, or at least would be in wheelchairs for the rest of their naturalborn lives.

Patting his back, his mother sat down once more. Aiden then did exactly what he told his sister he would do, make himself some toaster strudel to eat on the road. Then if she wasn't down by the time they left, he would also do what he told her he would just after making himself toaster strudels - kindly fuck right off to school. Waiting for his food to finish toasting, he whistled. Moments later, a golden retriever ran into the room, tail wagging and tongue lolling out of the side of it's mouth.

"Hey there, Duke. What's goin' on, buddy?" he asked, kneeling down and rubbing the dog's head.

"You aren't gone yet?" Aiden looked up at the sound of his stepfather's stern voice. "It's six twenty five. You better be out of the house before six thirty, boy."

"Doesn't take five minutes for this to toast," he retorted, watching as his stepfather's hands gripped the newspaper so hard that his knuckles turned white. Aiden smirked in satisfaction before removing the toaster strudels from the toaster and squeezing icing onto the top of one before placing it on the other - like a sandwich.

Not three minutes later, Aiden made his way to driveway towards his car, met halfway by his sister - Katie. She was glaring daggers at him as they slipped into Aiden's blue, 1996 Chevy Impala. Locking eyes with her, he glared back.

"If you sass me at all on the way to school, i'm pulling over and kicking your ass out of the car." Katie responded to Aiden's threat by tossing her luscious brown curls behind her shoulder and looking out the window with a 'hmph'.

--------------------------------------------

Aiden entered the school through the student parking lot door, his sister way behind him, surrounded by her flock of friends. Walking through the halls, Aiden made eye contact with no one, though occasionally someone on his left side - out of view - would make mocking gestures, or reach up and cover their own left eyes and smirk. However, Aiden did not see, and therefore did not react. Aiden did not see a single mocking gesture on his walk from his car to the locker - but he knew they were there. He had lived with 'One Eyed Aiden' since middle school, and had been picked on by old classmates with pirate jokes since he wore a medical eyepatch through a year and a half after the incident.

Opening his locker, a printed picture of a pirate floated off of the top of his books and onto the floor, having been slipped into the slits in his locker. Looking down at it, he picked it off the floor. Glowering at it a moment, he stared at the pirate's eye patch before tear it into pieces and throwing it back onto the floor. Hearing laughter from across the hall, he quickly gathered his stuff before slamming the door to his locker and storming past a particular group of guys.

"Go fuck yourselves!" he snapped at them before disappearing into the crowds of people, hearing only the faint response of 'Aye, aye, captain!' from a boy he had known with since elementary school.

Slipping into his classroom, he slid into his chair at his desk and tossed his backpack down next to him. He folded one arm in front of him and rested the elbow of the other on the desk, cradling his head in his hand. The palm of his left hand was somewhat cold against his cheek, but it found it pleasant, and closed his eyes. He could feel the temptation of simply fall asleep wash over him again and again - And each time, it began to look more and more tempting. Opening his eyes, he stared forward, keeping himself awake. Out of the very left corner of his right eye, he spotted a familiar figure and turned his head unnaturally to be able to see them - A usual movement for Aiden. Recognizing the individual as Regina, he turned back to the front of the classroom.

With the ringing of the bell, the torture began.

Regina felt herself falling asleep, dozing off throughout the lecture, not even twenty minutes into class as she put her head down and was scolded over and over for it. She couldn't help it; Mr. Bakers was so boring, and his history class was boring too. She enjoyed history, but he made it hell and so many other students kept getting yelled at for dozing off too. She sighed heavily in frustration as the teacher turned, and smiled at everyone. "So, we are going to begin a project on World War 2. You will take a topic from a list of events and themes from World War 2, and present it to the class next week. It can in the form of a video, or a poster... anything creative enough that you can manage." Mr. Baker's said, and then he took out the list. "There are Airplanes, Concentration Camps... How Japan was involved, The Nazi Youth organizations... once you have your partner, you will come up to my desk and pick a topic." he said, glancing at everyone before continuing with his final sentence. "Now, go on. Choose your partners."

Of course, Regina's first glance was towards Sarah but she wasn't even there today, the desk empty and lifeless as everyone else scattered and the room was suddenly abrupt with life and the loud chattering of young adults shifting desks around. Regina then looked towards Aiden with her bright, blue eyes and she shyly waved at him and made a gesture before she got up and she timidly walked over with her bag in her arms and sat down in a desk next to him. "Do.. you wanna be partners, Aiden? Or... do you have... um, someone else in mind?" she asked, her voice quiet, barely heard from all the yelling but if he was actually listening he could make out what she was saying. She pulled some hair in front of her face to hide most of it as her fingers nervously fiddled with her bag. Despise Aiden's eye, Regina didn't have anything against Aiden. She thought he was nice and fair; he never did anything mean to her and she had seen the harassment he went through, and she felt bad for him. But he was a nice kid, and she didn't have any problem hanging around him, even if she was more timid around males.

She felt something hit her in the back and she glanced back over her shoulder to see Brian Golding, one of the "popular" boys, and his last name suited him since his skin was like the goldest tan anyone had ever seen, with his spiked dark hair and sparkling green eyes that pierced through a girl's heart- except Regina's. Brian had used to tease her relentlessly when she was younger, and he still did... but more of sexual teasing then anything. She looked down to see that a watted up soaking wet spit ball had hit her in the back and she grimaced in disgust, looking at Brian with a harsh stare as he laughed at her. "Hey, Gina! Nice rip!" he said. Regina blinked a few times, in confusion before she got up and noticed a rip in her jeans on the back of her right thigh, exposing her fleshy white skin and she blushed slightly before she sat back down, hunching her shoulders as she tried to ignore him. He made crappy insults, and for some reason, tried to find the least obvious things about her to insult her. She didn't understand, and she tried to act like she hadn't been bothered before glancing back at Aiden with embarrassment and red cheeks.

I've probably just lost my only chance at having a partner, too. she thought, chewing on her lower lip.

The business of the sun and moon had little effect on Cuspin's schedule. They could do what they liked so long as they left him alone. At the moment he'd been conscious for a little over four hours and the pale blush of the sun was shyly hinting at emerging. The daemon was much too occupied to notice, however. He was so occupied that the edges of his being had gone fuzzy, fading off into the surrounding air. He always grew indistinct when his brain was on full blast. And this was one of those times if not other moment in his life ever was. He was contemplating a new plot. He needed humans to do his bidding, he had for ages, but it quite seemed that they weren't inclined to his service. So he needed to make some sort of binding contract in which they would have to remain instead of running off like the foolish little creatures. And finding food these days was much too bothersome, especially in a new place. Back when he lived in the same place for long stretches of time he'd started establishing haunts where he could pick of the population in such a way that no one would ever care, but with industrialization came a whole new world of chaos. Regulations, shooing of filth out of the streets, it was difficult to find a tasty little urchin or a drunken lad anymore without being noticed. There were just too many humans and not enough time. He wanted to stay in the same place love enough to settle down a bit, but if everyone was on the watch, then he couldn't very well eat without going through a long hassle, and no one wanted that, now did they?

The daemon, clad in his usual attire of cocky golden eyes and fine pale hair and a barely sun-bitten face, reached out and traced a tapered finger around the rim of his cup before lifting it up, looking around the decadent liquid at his notes as he took a draft. Running low on back up sustenance, he made mental note when the cup provided no more than a few droplets of crimson. Damn. He really would need to go out soon. Hopefully he'd have his plan in motion and be able to live in relative comfort before then, though. If anything went wrong he could just eat his targets, however, no harm no foul. But he rather liked them, both of them, the lass and the lad. They were curious and had caught his eye. Lucky them.

Tracing the charcoaled-in outline of one of the humans, he'd sketched them a few times to make sure he was completely sure as of which ones he was planning to examine, and deemed them acceptable. The examination process had taken a number of days, over a week so far, but it was drawing to a close, he could feel it. Today he would exact the first step in his plan; he would decide just how he’d entice them into his plan. He needed to know them like he knew the back of his hand. Well, if he could know the back of his hand, it changed so often. Perhaps that wasn’t the best simile to make? He shook his head, empting it of such foolish thoughts and stared for a moment more at the smudged visage of a young woman, re-memorizing features; all these little creatures were so delightfully unique and beautiful. The paper under it showed a young man, and Cuspin took a moment to examine him too before shoving his stack of papers back into his desk.

Selecting another face took a long stretch of deliberation, examining lips and noses and the apex of eyelids from all possibly angles. Some were too old and some were too young and some were frankly unnatural. If he wanted to get into the school he’d need a proper face. Something not quite memorable, but just enough for his taste. He needed to be able to tail the two discreetly, but it would be no fun to stay completely hidden. The daemon finally settled on a delicate face framed by dark hair and bright yellow eyes, his signature. Perhaps one of the only things he had left from his adolescence. It was familiar face, but the uncharacteristic youth would require intense focus to maintain.

It was a while longer before he’d settled on proper attire, these humans required so much work to emulate, and the clothes had to be perfectly careless. A dark jacket, almost black but not quite, and under it a non-descript t-shirt that almost looked like it had a logo out of the peripherals of one’s vision, and jeans. Jeans were irritating, they were heavy and they didn’t fit right, even on this form, but he’d have to deal with it. Cuspin, now Michael, his human alias, pulled the hood up over his head and pushed through the door of his home. The outside air was pleasant enough so he figured he’d walk, eating the ground in long strides. No one spared him a second glance as he crossed streets and followed the web of human civilization to the school, only becoming lost once. As he approached the strange building, the scent of so many vigor-filled human attacking his senses, the daemon paused for a moment, watching a smaller creature make a dash for the door, a black bag bouncing on its back.

Oh, he’d forgotten one of those school bags. Oh well. They wouldn’t remember him from his neighbor, so it didn’t matter. Increasing his pace, the slender figure caught the door before it had closed. Apparently he was late. The loud bell that rang seconds after he emerged in the school hall confirmed his conjecture. Cuspin flinched momentarily before composing himself again, pulling his hood down slightly over his face as he took a sharp breath. Now where were the little humans? From what he had already gathered in his minimal amount of watching, they were together at the beginning of the day. And he’d be there too this time.

Ahh, he could smell the female. They had more distinct, floral scents. Didn’t smell too particularly appetizing though, too sharp and faux-seeming. But such scents stood out, he supposed, and they didn’t affect the flavor of the skin too much. Thankfully. He followed the scent for a few moments before it intersected with a door. A slender hand rested on the surface for a moment, and Cuspin composed himself into the teenage posture. Then the lock clicked and the daemon shoved the door open, lock picking was a helpful but menial task, especially since humans these days enjoyed locking everything they owned, or ever come in contact with. They even had doors such as this one that just locked on their own every time they closed.

The daemon slouched across the room slowly, deliberately taking the most obnoxious path he could so he could get a feel for the room as a whole. The smaller humans looked at him as he meandered his way over to an open desk, seemingly apathetic. The teacher didn’t notice the trespasser as he was unable to register what his eyes were showing him, and when Cuspin sat down in an empty seat most of the eyes returned to said teacher. Astute yellow eyes flicked over the crowd of decadent humans, many were arranged like chocolates in a box, sitting neatly in little rows of desks, but most of them were beginning to rise, clustering in little groups. What were they doing?

Suddenly his golden eyes were attracted to a flushed face. Ah, there was the female, she was standing next to, ah, fancy that, the male. What were the odds that they were literally next to each other? He pushed his hood down so he had better command over his peripherals as the female human sat down at a desk, an embarrassed expression on her features. Some male humans across the room were chortling, and after a few moments Cuspin realized that they had been taunting her. Ah, there was something to take note of.

As the daemon examined his prey, a girl human cut him off. “Hi.” She said with a smile. She opened her mouth to say more, but Cuspin didn’t allow her to finish. “Don’t talk to me.” He said his faux foreign purr measured and polite. Her full-lipped smile fell as he gazed apathetically up at her, souring into a scowl. Cuspin didn’t care; he was on a mission, and his mind with buzzing with the combined tasks of thinking up a plan and keeping tabs on the two humans. He held his head up with a hand as he watched them, his ears twitching slightly as he summoned the dregs of his magic to eavesdrop on their conversation over the hum of human adolescents talking.

Aiden pierce

Aiden kept his focus on the front of the class, although his attention wandered easily. As the teacher went on, he spaced out and daydreamed about books, movies, playing guitar, and replayed scenes of his life in his head. He imagined himself rich. He imagined himself making the other boys look stupid. Aiden couldn't help a smirk from appearing on his face as he imagined taking them all down. After all, he was a bit taller than most of them. He was a boy, they were expected to get into fights - Shouldn't bother anything that he would think about it. Idly, he balanced a pen on his finger before flicking it with his thumb to send the pen twirling aorund him thumb before catching it back on his finger - This process then continued.

That is, until he awoke with a start with his head on his desk. He quickly sat up up, looking around at the stares he got and the glare Mr. Baker was sending his way. Looking away, he ignored the giggles, realizing he had woken himself up with the sound of his own first snore. He closed his eyes, facing towards the window. Perhaps if he was just very quiet, everyone would forget he was even there and he could go on like a normal boy his age. Well, as normal as he could be with a mangled, blind eye and enough rage inside to charge blindly (no pun intended) into a bullfight - just to be able to take it out on something.

Hearing that they had a project, he groaned and looked down at the desk. He didn't know many people in the class at all, and the most he knew of most of them were just their names and who they were usually with or what crowd they fit into. He looked around, tuning his head very sharply to see some people in the room - The gray eye's pupil changing of it's own accord without any reaction to light or dark, just changing. At the moment, the pupil was a black grain of rice in a sea of steel, tinged only with the slightest green. As Regina approached him, he offered her a tiny smile. Regina was a kind, pretty girl. He had spoken to her on occasion, but not too often. He had heard other girls talk about her and rag on how she looked, and honest hoped she didn't hear it - although he knew that she did. He felt bad for her, but didn't want to bury her in his pity, so he remained fairly respectful. After she asked him to be partners, he shrugged.

"No one else better but you, Reg. I wouldn't partner with any of these jerks if you paid me." he offered her a light hearted reply. His smile immediately dropped when he saw something collide with the back of her head. He simply observed the situation for a moment before Regina looked back and was mocked by one of the in crowd. Aiden narrowed his eyes and gave Brian a clearly agitated look. "Hey, back off, Golding." he growled. "Go back to paying someone to do your project for you, or whatever you do to get stuff done - 'Cause i know you aren't smart enough to even read half the posters you 'make'." he was about to turn back when someone else chimed in - Brian's girlfriend, Megan Olsen.

"Calm down, Blind-boy. Don't wanna pop a vessel in your good eye." she smirked. Aiden, always up for a challenge, simply shot back another remark.

"What's that? Popping what?" he made a gesture of leaning closer to hear her. "Talking about your fakeass implants? Yeah, you definitely better not pop those. I hear they could kill you."

"Break it up. Pierce, turn around or it's a detention." Mr. Baker yelled from across the room, causing Brian and Megan to snicker while Aiden rolled his eyes and put his hands up. Turning back to Regina, he sighed.

"Alright, back to the project." he hummed. "You got any ideas?" he asked, quickly changing the subject to distract himself - and Regina - from what had happened. Aiden was pretty sensitive about people picking on people he knew, and didn't exactly welcome it when people mocked him either, so he couldn't help being confrontational. It didn't help that it wasn't even 9pm yet - The time when he would usually start being alive and ready for the day.

Regina didn't really know what to say after she had watched Aiden stand up and give Golding a crude insult and defend her- which people didn't usually do for her. She glanced behind her at Brian and then his girlfriend, Megan, watching her exchange a few argumentative insults with Aiden before Aiden was instructed to take a seat and calm down. Of course, the darker looking student who had came in had caught her eye but she only exchanged a few quick glances of observing expressions before she looked back at Aiden as he sat down and addressed her on the matter of their project.

Of course, she was grateful that Aiden had actually stood up for her. She knew he was teased for his eye, and she knew he had a hard time with it sometimes... at least, his anger seemed to express that but she never mentioned it and never stared either. She would smile softly at him as he leaned forward and discuss with her what they should do, and she nodded to him. "Well, how about we do... torture methods used by the Nazis, involving experiments and what not?" she said, and then she slowly got up from the desk, smiling at him since he didn't really seem to care what they did. She then would walk up to the desk as she made her way to Mr. Bakers.

"Torture methods and experiments for Aiden and I." she said, offering him a smile and he smiled right back, writing her name down.

"Very good, Regina. I'm sure you'll come up with something great. You always make creative presentations." Even if she lacked fake boobs and tan skin, she was still quite smart and enjoyed history to a great extent.

"Thanks." she smiled at him, and then felt another object hit her in her thigh and she felt her teeth grinding on each other as she shot Brian a sharp glare to see he had thrown an eraser at her thigh. And of course, him being on the fucking football team and the baseball team, he had hit it dead on. She quickly bent down, picking the eraser up and making her way back to the desk as she pulled some hair behind her right ear and then she put it up into a messy bun. "Fucking assholes." she muttered to herself, sliding the eraser between her fingers as she looked at Aiden. "How about we do a video... we can talk about it, show some examples perhaps or... dress up as one of the more famous nazi scientists and explain from their point of view? I don't know." She said, obviously frustrated with the morning's events. She watched as Mr. Baker left the room for a few moments to discuss something with a student.

Her attention turned back to Aiden, her bright eyes glowering slightly as she tried to brush off the fact that Brian was badgering her for his eraser back. But she didn't give it to him. She simply tossed it out towards the doorway, near the trash can. He could get off his lazy ass and go get it himself.

How cute. The male was an angry one. Cuspin winced slightly as voices were raised in his hearing field, too much amplification, and withdrew slightly. He could hear that conversation just fine without any hassle. The lad defended the female, and the other humans turned to insulting him instead. He seemed to take it better that the female though, he just shot back retorts with crude human slang until the teacher, apparently the final authority on the matter, yelled at him to cease. This was a very loud classroom. It had been a long time since Cuspin had been in one of these to hunt prey, and even then they'd been smaller and more sedate, it seemed. This was loud and just a bit crazy. It was very saturated with vivid energy, and the daemon couldn't decide whether he liked it or not.

When the target's conversation waxed soft again, Cuspin realized that he'd been forgetting himself and he was starting to grow blurry around the edges. Oops, he needed to do a better job at that. Ever since he was young he'd had terrible problems keeping up so many magics at once. He occupied himself for a moment with sharpening his own visage, and when he looked back up from making sure his hands were perfectly human he was surprised to see the female walk right past him on her way to the teacher. He resisted making any contact with her verbal or other wise, but continued to stare at her back as she spoke with the older male human. A little pink thing suddenly tore through the air and hit her thigh right at the place were a small rip exposed some of her soft delectable looking skin.

Cuspin covered his face for a moment as the girl walked back to her seat. He really needed to stop himself from thinking about food, he was going to go stark raving mad if he kept that up. And that would ruin his whole plan and he'd have to find a new place to live. One where they weren't on the look out for someone who'd murdered an entire classroom of adolescent humans and made some attempt to devour the remains.

Yeah, that wasn't a very good idea.

The currently dark haired daemon shifted in his seat, the plastic was uncomfortable under him, how could these humans enjoy sitting on them at all? At a better vantage point to stare unabashedly at his targets, yellow eyes flicked over the face of the male, and for the first time he noticed what the two had been teasing him about. He had mismatched eyes, and only one of them looked to be in working condition. Huh. Why would they tease him about that? He was delightfully unique, just like the girl, but in a different way. It made him striking. But perhaps it was a key for him. A key for both of them. Neither looked happy with their uniqueness, so he needed to provide a way for them to assimilate with the rest of the group. But how to do that?

his head tipped slightly to one side, Cuspin's eyes narrowed as if he could stare into the mind of the male human and search out what exactly he needed to do. Long forgotten was the human etiquette of not staring at people for great lengths of time, but oh well. What he really wanted to do was approach them, but that had the potential to ruin everything if he said or did the wrong thing. The humans were too unpredictable to form any kind of true plan unless it only involved them indirectly. It was one of the funny quirks of humanity. They had no idea what they wanted, they had to real plans, they could barely ever get anything done the way they wanted it done, but they managed to live these amazingly interesting lives, despite the futile aspect of their short time-span.

Aiden Pierce

Aiden remained quiet, but friendly, as Regina seemed to just move on from the little conflict which had just occurred. As Regina said what they were going to be doing a project on, he nodded and shrugged, muttering a quiet 'Kay'. Now this was something he could pay attention to. He wasn't someone who craved violence by any means - But it was a teenage boy thing. It was like Left 4 Dead - The more blood, the more fun, the more interesting, the better. And this wasn't going to just be reading through boring documents either, probably though some cool, bloodier stuff.

As she got up to tell Mr. Baker, Aiden turned to watch her, but remained in his own seat. Regina was a nice girl, really nice. He knew that everyone noticed his eye, and in this school, everyone was the type he expected to get crap about it from. That is, except for Regina and several other people that he hung out with. Regina had taunted him about his eye, and seemed not to even notice it. However, that only made Aiden more upset when people teased her. She was such a nice girl, and she didn't deserve that crap just because she wasn't a head cheerleader who tanned every day and was covered head to toe in designer clothes. In Aiden's opinion, they tended to be a bit flashy anyway.

Seeing the eraser hit Regina's thigh, Aiden growled to himself. He wondered why Brian and Megan enjoyed teasing them both so much. Were they really gaining that much from it? After high school, it wouldn't even matter anyway - right? People these days - Really. It seriously couldn't be that funny. As Regina walked back, he glared at Brian before looking back to Regina as she began to talk again.

"Sure, a Movie sounds good. I can think of something in Film class if you want - We've got green screen." Then, Mr. Baker left the room and Regina tossed the eraser, causing him to chuckle. I hoped Brian whined all classtime, being too lazy to get up and just get his stupid eraser. Of course though, Brian just badgered them to get it. Then, a tiny impact on one side of his face - The blind side. He looked down to see a paper clip and turned to see Megan tapping her long, fake nails on her desk with a half amused half irritated look. "Okay, seriously. If you throw one more thing at us, i'm gonna shove it so far up your ass, you choke. Kapiche?" he barked at them before simply ignoring them. He was tired of their antics by now - It was too early in the day.

As paperclips continued to pelt the blind half of his face and occasionally flew towards Regina, Aiden ignored them, despite being slowly progressing past agitated.

"I can rent a camera too." he offered. "If you know a time we can both record. You know, after researching and junk."

Regina looked up at Aiden as he agreed to the idea with a more amused and enthusiastic look. He was a boy; and most boys actually enjoyed blood and violence, even if it was just the researching,. But, so did she. She adored learning about violence and blood and war, it always seemed to fascinate her in some way. She flipped the page of her notebook, taking her mechanical pencil and pushing out some led so she could write down her address and her phone number and then smiled up at him as she tucked some hair behind her ear.

“Sounds great, actually. My camera isn’t very good; so borrowing a more complex one would work, along with the tripod stands they have. Anything you can think of I’m sure will be great.” She had neat, girly hand writing and she scribbled her information down before tearing the paper off and handing it to him. “There are woods behind my house; and my parents won’t really be around so we can actually start tomorrow if you want. I can type up a script tonight.” She said, smiling at him softly as she closed her notebook. She noticed the paper clip hit his side, and the growling reply he gave back to the tan prep behind her, only causing her to glance back at them as they snickered and chortled, Brian still whining. Every now again, she would feel one hit her back or fly past her. She couldn’t wait for that clock to hit 2:20 when they actually got out of school.

“So, I’m thinking we’ll introduce the earlier methods in the concentration camps and when Nazis were raiding homes I know Nazis would throw handicapped people over balconies of houses, and force people to run while they shot at them. I also read about some of the experiments, how scientists would poison people and watch the effects of diseases or try to conjoin twins together.” She elaborated.

“You read that crap?! You’re psycho!” She heard Brian yell at her and she rubbed her temples in fury at the boy continuing to harass them.

“Yah. That’s like… messed up, Gina.” Megan replied, looking at her long nails and giving off a whatever vibe as she agreed with her air headed boyfriend. Regina turned, looking at both of them as her fists formed.

“Alright, well, at least my grades aren’t as low as your brain cell count. I’ve seen your answers, Megan, in Science Class. You’re a dumb ass bitch.” Regina snapped at her, hissing violently as her face turned slightly red. “And Brian, if you want your fucking eraser, I can always give you a pencil to go with it and stab the end down your penis.” Regina threatened, her eyes glowing brightly and sharply. Of course, Mr. Baker had to walk in as she was speaking.

“Regina, that is not appropriate!” He said, almost bewildered at her language. She was always so quiet, but now… he probably was outraged at her turn of behaviour. “Out of here. To in school. Now.” He said, pointing to the door. Regina rolled her eyes in irritation, standing up with red cheeks as she grabbed her crap and walked towards the door. “You will apologize later on, and I will be informing the principle.” Mr. Baker said as she walked past him.

“What the fuck ever.” She said, flipping the class off as she walked out with her arms clutching her books hard in an almost breakable grip.

“After school next week, Regina! My class!” Mr. Baker snapped at her as she walked away with her finger in the air. Her blood was boiling as she trudged down towards the in school detention room.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Time skip to tomorrow. You two can post in reply to this, but I thought it would help move things along since we’ve shown a bit of the school experience.)

“You’re lucky you get to walk out of this house, young lady.” Regina had heard these lengthy lectures since she got home from school last night. Of course her mother was more upset at her language then her father; Regina rarely had outbursts, and her father had a temper and understood. Her mother, however, didn’t.

“Mom, they were harassing me. Aiden and I. All the time, everyday. The teachers don’t do shit! I snapped!” Regina said, waving her arms about as her anger was still flaring from the events that had taken place. Her father sighed softly.

“Dear, let it go. You know yelling at her isn’t going to do her any good. She’s already facing the punishment at school; let her have a nice weekend.” Regina smiled hearing her dad’s words, her mother rolling her own eyes in irritation as she sighed.

“Fine. But Regina, never use that language around your brother, got it?” Regina nodded with an annoyed expression, but her mother didn’t notice as she turned to start washing dishes. It was around 3 pm, and Regina had told Aiden to come around there. She wondered if he still even wanted to work with her after her outburst in class yesterday. She had seen posts on facebook of Megan mocking her, which of course was just more harassment. Regina tried not to think about it as she tapped her own shorter nails on the small pile of clipped papers she had made for the project.

“So, how is that friend of yours anyway?” Regina’s dad asked as he turned the page on one of his books he was reading.

“He’s fine, I guess… seems to be doing alright. Except for being harassed.” She shrugged.

“You two going on a date or something?” He asked, glancing at her with slightly stern eyes. She blinked, and then grinned with bright, red cheeks. What boy would ever want to go on a date with her?

“No, dad. It’s a school project. I swear.” She said and her dad smirked as he looked back down at his book again. Regina rolled her eyes with a small, amused smile on her lips.

The harassment of the two humans grew, and Cuspin had to hide a smile as he realized how perfect his choice in humans had been. They were delightfully bullied, and they looked sick of it. And he could fix all that for them and attach a self-serving price. Lovely, lovely. And the male seemed a bit violent at the very least, he might have to help the female along a bit, and teach both of them the proper way to murder things, but hopefully their anger could be useful when directed properly. His entire body straightened as he heard the mention the woods. Yes. Perfect. They were playing straight to them. He'd just have to lure them far enough away that there would be no interruptions. A simple task compared to some of the feats he'd accomplished during his life. Not to be a braggart or anything, of course. He could already imagine just how things would go in his head. He knew he shouldn't plot everything out this early, these little pups weren't so predictable, but he couldn't help himself. A new puzzle to occupy his time was a delighting fact.

And then ah, the most perfect thing happened. The female, she exemplified the instability of her race. She, to put in in human terms, flipped the fuck out. Her voice was a low hiss, and she threw a violent insult in, and then when the teacher came she didn't revert back to the sweet little innocent she'd seemed at first, she retained all that beautiful anger. Yes, oh yes, he had what he needed now. He could twist both of these little creatures around his finger without breaking their spines. If anything, they'd come out better for his guiding hand. Stronger. All their poor rage was expressed in futile ways, but he'd show them how to hone it into a weapon of mass destruction, yes he would. And it would be beautiful.

His purpose in the god-forsaken classroom finished, Cuspin rose, pulled his hood back over his head, and walked unabashedly out the door. The myriad of humans in the classroom who'd noticed him at some point would soon forget him, he'd make sure of it. He could use this face again at some point, perhaps. It was rather growing on him. Being a human adolescent brought the most curious view on life. They were under the hand of another, but treated like independent beings. He could get things done as a teenager, he supposed. He debated for a long moment whether to approach the humans in this face, but he decided against it. He'd leave that for later. He needed to seem solid, resolute at first, and a bit intimidating as well, so they wouldn't think they could take advantage of his generosity.

A gleeful grin on his half-blurred face, the daemon strolled out of the building and on to the street. It was time to prepare for the humans, make sure everything was in line. Oh, this would be loads of fun, wouldn't it. And in the end he'd be better for it, and so would the humans. Unless they were dead. And then he'd be even better for it because he'd get to start the process all over again. And the human girl at the very least looked like she would taste delicious. He wasn't so sure about the boy. He did have spark though, which added flavour to the soul so long as it didn't sit and rot for too long. But all that anger would sour his blood unless Cuspin helped him. Oh, that would be a bad thing.

Cuspin shook his head slightly to send those thoughts from his mind. He shouldn't think of eating the humans for the time being. Right now they were his friends and humans didn't eat their friends. He could contemplate the consistency of their flesh at a later date, if and when they displeased him. Because there was always a chance that they could be charming enough to keep around even past the expiration of his current interest in them, of vice versa.

The next day, Cuspin was skulking around the forest near the female human's house, waiting for the two humans to emerge and start their business. He had to wait for the perfect time, or they'd be unwilling to listen. At the moment he was wearing his favorite red and gold coat against the slight chill of the air, and it set off nicely with the paleness of the rest of his features, dragging out the gold in his eyes. He felt extraordinarily handsome, but then again, he usually felt as such.

He had two slender metal chains, still warm from their creation. It had taken all night to craft them, but it was well worth the time. Neither of the chains had a pendant on them, he'd need to inquire just what his new little humans would need to do what he wanted before he could make that. He was quite positive that they would comply to his wishes however, and he already had everything that he'd need prepared. How could they say no to a dream come true, even if it came with a small price.

The daemon's heavy boots crunched leaves and disturbed the soil as he paced impatiently, gazing at the house in which the female human resided through the trees. Humans were so slow. One would think that because they had so little time to do things they might hurry everything up a bit, but it never seemed the case. He'd teach his humans the value of swiftness and efficiency though, and they'd learn it quickly and thoroughly or face whatever repercussions he thought fit to impose.

Aiden Pierce

Aiden nodded as Regina continued to speak about their project. He was more than happy to get started ton the project, to be honest. It was the blood and violence, and it seemed like Regina wasn't gonna back out of the topic either. Aiden was pretty thankful for that, since most of the time whatever dick he was with halfassed it and whatever bitch he was with the next time chose the bloodiest project so that she could say it was gross and could back out of it by making big, innocent eyes and squeezing out a couple crocodile tears. It made him sick.

"Yeah, just let me know whenever you're open, i'll rent out a camera whenever you've got free time. Here," he took out a piece of paper and tore off the bottom couple lines. Fishing a black G2 pen from his backpack, he clicked the point out and began to write his phone number. He finished writing and shoved the paper in her direction, having written 'Aiden Peirce (207) 1743 81897' [[Extra numbers to protect anyone with a real, similar phone number to what i would otherwise write]]. "Let me know, text me or give me a ring anytime." he said, with a smile. It was nice to talk with Regina.

Then, he heard the derpnamic duo behind them speak up again. He turned to them and rolled his eyes, once when Brian spoke, and once when Megan chimed in. What was with them. Megan said something and Brian would follow like a steer, Brian would say something and Megan would follow along blindly with her goddamn eyes crossed. When she bleached her already blond hair, did it soak into the skin and maybe into her brain? He hoped so - Or knowing that there were truly people out in the world like her would break what little faith he still had in humanity. As Regina jumped up to defend herself, Aiden interjected as well - Having more than a few things to say to the both of them since the teacher was out of the room. After her comment to Megan, he chimed in while Regina helped herself to a piece of Brian.

"You know, girls like you bother the hell out of me." he started, glowering. "Just sit there with your expensive clothes, expensive bags, talking about all the shopping you did and all the nice things they did to your hair at the salons and shit." Aiden wasn't a guy who lived by the 'never pick on girls' rule. If guys were held responsible for the words they said, so were girls. While he wouldn't be as aggressive or quick to anger, a vagina wasn't a freaking get out of jail free card. You weren't automatically more angelic, innocent, and above others just because your chest was convex - No, that wasn't how it worked. "And what the fuck is up with you? Do you have your own opinion? Do you just hear something he says and go 'oh he's always right because he always is i'm just gonna agree with everything he says'." he growled, raising his voice several pitches to mock her tone of voice. "Can you think on your own or do you need someone to hold your fucking hand?"

At that moment, he saw the door open and turned in his seat. He pretended to be tapping his pencil on his desk in thought when he realized that Regina was still going at Brian. Oh no. Then he heard, Mr. Baker begin his outburst in response.

That could not be good.

He watched as Regina left with a tight frown, catching glimpses of Megan and Brian's smug looks in the corner of his right eye. That was so fucking it.

At the end of class, as they Megan and Brian left, Aiden squeezed out in front of them and walked quickly. He made sure to follow them though, going the opposite direction of his next class - Chamber Choir. He continued to walk until they reached the tiny blind spot near the corner you turned to go to the gym. Once he was in the blind spot, he turned around and marched right up to Brian. Brian, of course pushed Megan behind her while she whimpered with the usual 'Oh my goddd, what do you waaaant' with the tone of a begging toddler.

"You think you can pick on Reg like that, then just get her in deep shit from the teacher with me around? No, just cause Reg doesn't beat you down after the first comment, won't think i wouldn't." Aiden was practically chest to chest with Brian, each glaring daggers at one another as they stared at one another - eye to eye. "If you've really got the huge balls you wanna look like you have, then see me in the field next to the parking lot. Today." he barked, pointing out the window towards the grazzy expanse just outside school property. "Don't you puss out on me either, or the whole school is gonna know that you were kind of the blind kid. Yeah, that's right, the blind kid. I said it. It's not like it's wrong." Brian placed his hands on Aiden's chest and pushed, the slightly thinner boy stumbling back but not faltering.

"Alright, let's go, then. Show ya what it's like to take a beating from a guy. But i'm gonna warn ya, i'm gonna go easy." he leaned close to Aiden's face and snarled, his morning breath threatening to knock him out right then and there. "I don't like hitting girls,"

---------------------------------------------------------------

Aiden carefully moved towards his car, walking carefully. His left leg still hurt each time he put weight on it, especially around his ankle and his knee. Making sure to be careful, he opened the driver's side door and leaned into the car, placing the camera on the passenger's seat in it's case. Slowly, he slid into the driver's seat and placed his hands on the underside of his left thigh, lifting the leg into the car before closing the door. His vision blurred for a moment before he slipped the key into the ignition and turned, hearing the engine roar to life. Carefully, be began to back out when Katie ran behind the car and he slammed on the breaks.

"Jesus!" He rolled down the window with his right hand, despite having to reach across his chest. Leaning out of the window, he turned until he saw his sister walking towards him. "The fuck, Katie!? I could'a turned you into a carpet!" Watching the way Katie twirled her hair around her finger, he knew she wanted something. With a heavy sigh, he leaned back. "What do you want, K."

"Um, i wanna make a little deal." Katie spoke up, Aiden rolling his eyes. "Well, you know how dad told me to swing by the store the other day to pick up some stuff? Well, uh, i didn't. I found out it's for dinner. Tonight. They're gonna see i didn't get it."

"Okay? What do you want me to do?"

"Do you think you could pick up the stuff?" she asked, handing him a slip of paper and a wad of cash. Aiden looked at the sheet of paper for a moment before shaking his head and sighing. "I'll let you use the garage for the whole winter." Aiden turned.

"The whole winter?" Aiden muttered, hearing her confirming response of 'the whooole winter'. After a moment, Aiden turned to her. "Do you promise to scrape your windows? Get all the ice off? I don't want you getting in a wreck." Katie quickly replied with an 'I promise' and Aiden reached out the window, extending his pinkie. She wrapped her pinkie around his and breathed a sigh of relief. "Now the the fuck back inside or i'll really run you over this time - Don't think i'll miss ya." Katie stuck her tongue out at him before going back inside. Rolling his eyes, he made his way to Regina's.

Reaching her house, he opened the door and carefully got out. Driving had been difficult, since his black eye was on his right eye and it had swollen a bit, making it slightly difficult to see. He had bruises on the left side of his face (But not on the blind eye), his right eye was a black eye and seemed to have a small popped vessel on it's left side, and there were lots of other bruises and small contusions on his left shoulder. He hadn't been particularly successful in the fight, but he had knocked Brian about much more than people thought he would. Well, until Brian laid him flat on the field and he lay there until Katie found him and dragged his sorry ass into the car, with some help from a couple of the people he hung out with. He wasn't proud of the outcome, but he was proud of all the snot he kicked out of Brian beforehand.

After getting out of the car, he made his way towards her door. He reached up and rung the doorbell, waiting for someone to answer. He hoped that he didn't scare whoever it was at least. Not knowing if they were filming around Regina's house, he had left the case in the car, just in case he needed to drive her and himself to another location for the shooting. He had done a bit of research, but he hoped that Regina had more to contribute.

Regina had been playing on her phone for a while before she heard the doorbell ring, and she blinked a few times, putting her cell phone down on the counter as she walked up to the doorway and opened it. She saw Aiden standing there in front of the door, and she smiled softly at him. "Hey, Aiden. You ready to go film?" She said, holding a stack of paper clipped papers in her arms of information and scripts for them to read off of. She was smart, and she was quite organized when it came to large projects.

But then, she noticed the black eye and she frowned instantly. She quickly came closer to him so her minty breath beat softly on his face and her eyes squinted at the swollen area as she lightly trailed her finger over it and then looked at him, rolling her eyes. "Did you seriously get into a fight with him? Aiden, come on..." she frowned and then she pulled on his arm, forcing him into her house as she ran to the fridge past her mother. "Mom, get me a ziplock bag, please." As she scooped out two handfuls of ice, her mother opened up one of the bags and Regina poured the ice in.

"Hey Aiden- wow... what happened to your-" But Regina had already grabbed Aiden's arm softly again, pulling him out of the house before her father could inter vein. He knew she had things to do, and he knew that she was private when it came to friends or anyone outside the social family circle. Regina gave the ice pack to Aiden to put over his eye as she went over to his car.

"I can't believe you did that, man... but I hope there are pictures of his sorry ass online." She said as she saw the case with the camera and the tripod sitting in the back and she easily got it herself, giving Aiden a chance to rest his muscles as she held the papers in one arm and the case in the other. "Well, we can film in the woods behind my house... you gonna be alright?" She asked him as she started off into the field towards the woods, waiting for him to walk alongside her.

When Regina answered the door, he greeted her with his usual, small - but friendly - smile. He found it much easier to simply be when he was around friends. When she asked if he was ready, he just laughed out an 'I was born ready,'. He let out a mental sigh of relief when he saw the papers in her arms. He had done is research of course, but it was always nice to have a partner who did their share of work. Of course whoever he was stuck with either made him do all the work of halfassed their share, so he was more or less working alone and letting someone else bum off his grade. It pissed him off something fierce, until he wanted to just ditch the girls and punch the guys. He didn't have any reservations about ditching the girls because they're girls, and he was no stranger to violence.

However, his smile faded quickly as the corners of Regina's lips twitched downwards sharply into a large frown. She leaned closer and he instinctively leaned away just slightly, able to pick up the scent of her minty breath. He was sure at this distance, she could smell the weed that he had tried to cover up with febreeze and 5 gum. He shrugged. "He deserved it, can't say i regret it." he added as he was pulled into the house. He gave Regina's mother and father a polite wave before falling silent. Hearing as her father began to inquire, he made a move to reply, but was quickly pulled away by Regina - Which he couldn't say was entirely unexpected.

Returning to the car with the makeshift ice pack in hand, he leaned against the passenger side door and carefully placed the ice pack against his eye. With the ice pack against it, he couldn't see anything, the gray eye blinking into the far distance to where it stared blankly. "I'd bet you money there are pictures of it. It drew a pretty nice crowd. I think he posted pictures of himself on Facebook and said he got beat up by a drunk guy or something. I 'unno, i didn't exactly try to check." he snorted. As she began to walk off to the woods, he pushed off the car and slowly followed. "Yeah, i'll be fine. Just gotta wait 'til we get to the film spot before i ice myself anymore." he removed the icepack and followed Regina. He had always been envious of her for having such a free space behind her house. "Do you ever just chinchill back here at all?" he asked, expecting a yes - In fact, he would be rather shocked if she answered no.

As they both walked towards the woods, her feet dug into the ground as she carried the supplies and glanced over at him, smiling softly as he followed her and she shrugged softly. "Sometimes, I guess... I take photos a lot back there and just read or something. Not very interesting though, I suppose." As they continued to walk, Regina looked down at her feet while they made their way across the wild grasses and the sky threatened rain with some darkening clouds but it didn't seem to bother Regina at all.

"So... do you have a girlfriend or anyone special, Aiden? I never see you hang with many people, I guess." She aid, shrugging as she glanced over at him with their feet hurrying towards the treeline that was only a few feet away now when the rain started sprinkling. But the thick trees would protect them well as they went into the forest's border, the darkness making it a bit more eerie but Regina didn't seem that worried except for a strange feeling hitting her stomach the minute she entered the woods. Oh well, it was... nothing, right? She continued to walk, trying to make small talk with Aiden as they tried to find a nice spot to start.

Aiden Pierce

Aiden switched between holding the ice pack aside and watching where he walked and holding the ice pack of his black eye when he knew he was sure he was sure the ground was clear and the path was straight. He would occasionally stumble on something, but would be very quick to recover since he was used to stumbling on things sometimes. "Wish we had a place like this around my house. Probably kind creepy at night though." he added, glancing up at the rainfilled clouds. They looked as if they were about to weep their tears upon them, as if to mourn the fate even he and Regina knew not of - As if they were to cry at the story of their tragedy. However, the youth though nothing, unknowing of their script. When Regina brought up if he had a girlfriend, he scratched the back of his neck and shrugged.

"Nah. I had a girlfriend once, but once i got tired of doing her homework, i didn't." he scoffed, kicking a stray stone which tumbled across the grassy ground before resting a mere two feet away. "I only really got the couple people we hang out at school with and my mom and sister. Maybe another kid or two, but none i hang out with outside of school. Don't really hang out with people at all unless it's for a project like this or a concert or something." His grey eye moved to stare blankly in the general direction of her voice, his good eye covered with the ice pack lightly held against the bruised, surrounding flesh. "What about you? Got a boyfriend or anythin'?"

Regina would glance over at Aiden as he replied to her question, and she smiled lightly at him. "You shouldn't do a girl's homework unless they are payin ya." she said, winking softly as they entered the forest as they continued to walk around, still looking for some spot to set up in. She headed towards the darker part, since darker parts meant less rain and less likely to fuck up the camera. She would then shrug as well at him, sighing softly as she looked over at him and smiled lightly. "No. No boyfriend. Haven't found a nice guy yet, I suppose. Besides, I blend in too much." she said, looking down as they walked and entered a darker spot.

She then stopped, taking a jacket from her waist and setting it down on the ground and placing their things on it while holding the papers in her hand. "So, I'm thinking we can rehearse and practice some shots. I think I'll be the one in it, since... you have a black eye." she said, looking at him with a more lecturer gaze as she handed him some papers. "These are some script lines I made about some of the torture methods they had and then we can move on to some experiments done. The most intense one I found was the conjoining of twins." she said as she looked over the typed words and then she looked over at him. "You want to start or shall I?"

Ah, finally, finally. Lingering near the house, Cuspin watched the male drive up to the house from a far distance. He retreated further, ready to follow them out into the trees, but then there was more waiting to be done. Then they moved over to his car and dallied some more. He was growing extremely impatient by this point, couldn't they realize that he was on a tight schedule, he really needed to eat at some point over then next few millenniums it seemed to would take the slow humans to actually make it out into the forest.

Then at last they were out into the forest. The boy was injured. Black eye, a limp, how cute. He was a feisty little human, apparently. Maybe it was with one of the ones that had bothered him and the girl during the class he'd sat in for. That was a good thing. he was in a more delicate condition, physically at least. And Cuspin was all about finding and using advantages. Discovering beautiful pressure points and driving slender fingers into them until the foe crumpled under its own weight. The daemon trailed after his targets as they moved into the forest, his gait quieter than theirs. They wouldn't even know he was there until he wanted them to. Beautiful, beautiful. Perfect. He was very pleased with himself and the way things were unfolding. He could almost taste his next meal, the promise of it lingering teasingly just past the tip of his tongue.

The light haired daemon tugged the vivid jacket around his shoulders, strolling nonchalantly as if he had not a care in the world, his own glamor keeping him virtually invisible. He kept his ears pricked, eavesdropping disinterestedly on their conversation. They were talking about girlfriends and boyfriends for the most part, apparently, until they halted and began discussing their project.

Walking carelessly around them, his pace a light stroll, Cuspin moved through the trees, drawing nearer and nearer to the pair of humans, a viciously focused look in his golden eyes. How exactly to go about it? He had to think on the move, because he would have hundreds of way capture their attention and only one attempt. He'd leave the selection to the moment.

He watched them for a moment, setting up in a dark patch of forest, leaning against a tree. The female had her back to him, handing the male some papers when he flickered back into the visual plane of existence. He crossed his arms over his chest, a small smirk on his face, and stood completely silent. Now that they were where he wanted them he could afford to have some patience, especially if he had control over the time it would take, and it would be more amusing than the previous bout of waiting, which had just been plain annoying.

The lion's eyes flicked from the female's back to examine the male's face, now that he was in such a proximity that he could see the lovely details of the human's injuries. The bruise did look quite nasty. Perhaps he could offer such a fate to whomever had done such an atrocious thing to him if he'd only consider the proposition. Of course, a silly little black eye would be followed ultimately with death, but he'd have to take it slow. All but the most mentally imbalanced, genius, and gifted humans had the tolerance to logically contemplate death, to understand his need for it. He would have to temper the 'bad' with the 'good' and force their desires up so high that such a petty attached string wouldn't drive the bargain down.

Oh, he couldn't wait for one of them to notice the pale, delicate figure lingering in their area, watch their surprise cross their features before he introduced himself and showed them the world of wonder he could offer them.

It would be wonderfully, deliciously, amusing.

Aiden Pierce

Aiden shrugged, chuckling a bit. "I guess so," he said, stepping over small fallen branch, rather out of place in the tiny clearing. "I won't suppose the schools gonna let me make a business out of that, huh?" he said, joking. When she stopped in a place with a bit less exposure to the rain, he let out a small sigh of relief. He didn't care much for school at all, but he certainly didn't want to get in trouble to for destroying property - He didn't need anymore lectures at the house. The mention of her blending in too much made him shake his head. "You don't blend in, but you don't stick out. Kinda hard to explain, i guess. But you're not part of the background noise at school, if that's what you mean." Referring to all the faces that blurred together and noises and buzzed together, senselessly in the halls - coming, going, growing, fading, blasting, silencing.

The suggestion of her being in the film made sense to him, and he nodded. "I can direct i guess, being in film makes that easy." he said, retrieving the camera and equipment and beginning to set up in a covered space. "Deal with lighting and all that, well, best i can." The last part was added as barely a whisper as he unpacked the tripod and began to adjust it, looking around. "You can start, i'll deal with the cam-quip over here. It'd be great to shoot the rehearsing, helps so i can adjust the lighting." he sighed, wincing as he stooped down to adjust the legs of the tripod, the camera balanced carefully.

Aiden then flipped out the side screen and made some adjustments before glancing up. "Just start whenever you're ready. I might move around a bit or something, but just keep going." he said, making some form of dismissive gesture by waving his hand to his side. He placed the ice pack gently against his eye again for a bit, waiting until he heard Regina begin. His body was sore, and damn did his leg hurt. Hopefully the contusions wouldn't last long and he would be able to go to back to school looking like a normal guy instead of a bitchslapped peach, bruised to holy hell and back. On his blind side, though, had he not been so, he may have caught a strange silhouette - Watching, observing, all in silence.

Regina's movements as he set up the camera were simple as she watched him, smiling slightly as she adjusted her hair a bit as she smiled at him and then sighed a bit. She wasn't going to enjoy the comments she would be getting from kids at school after her video but it was better then making Aiden do it when he had a black eye. She then would look down at her papers, muttering some sentences to herself as she watched him get the camera ready, and then give her the cue that she could start when she was ready. She smiled at him, and then looked at the camera. She opened her mouth to begin.

"German Scientists in World War 2 may have been even more dangerous and agonizing then the ones who led the concentration camps across Europe. Scientists would instead take jews and other 'misfits' of the German Eye, and preform horrific experiments that-" She instantly stopped, blinking as she could catch the strange figure out of her right eye, and she quickly jerked her head back slightly to the right where she saw a man standing there. The figure was pale; and tall, and her eyes went slightly wide as the vibes of danger and fear clutched at her stomach; something didn't feel right and she quickly dropped her papers, flinching at her own stupidity as she cleared her throat and looked at Aiden, before her eyes went back to the figure that was just... staring, watching.

"Uhm... can we help you?" she said, in a voice that was clearly trained with fear and suspicion but she tried to sound more confident then she actually was as she bent down, picking up her papers without keeping her eyes off of the strange figure.

Cuspin stood patiently, examining the half moon curves of his finger nails. They were short in this body, not very interesting. But toting around claws all the time simply wasn't practical. He couldn't pick anything up, and the point of a human body was to blend in with the humans anyway. Even though he didn't blend in very well in this form. He was much too handsome to blend in, of course. Obviously. His cat-like eyes flicked back up from his slim hand to the clearing, where the two were still talking. The male wouldn't notice him unless he took the ice off his eye, so it would most likely be the girl who noticed him. And he was correct. In the middle of a sentence the charming little female stopped abruptly, having noticed them. She dithered, eyes wide, and dropped her papers. Auch, silly little human. So clumsy.

She spoke, obviously cowed by his presence. As she should be. And she didn't take her eyes off him as she bent to get her papers. The fair skinned daemon thought to mess with her a little more, nothing too frightening, he didn't want to scare the pair of them off, that would ruin everything and only result in an early lunch. With would only be momentarily gratifying. And it would be a shame. The more he saw these funny little humans the more he liked them. The perfect balance of reverence and a good healthy fear mixed with spunk and intelligence. They'd be easy to train, he envisioned.

Cuspin softened around the edges, fading back into the darkness as if he'd never existed. Then, with a slight jerk of his wrist the world shifted under his feet and he was standing behind the human, folding his hands behind his back nonchalantly.

"There's the question, my lucky little friend. There's the question." He said, his voice low. "I was planning on exterminating these two little creatures the moment they stepped into my territory," He fabricated swiftly, "but I've decided that I rather like them. Perhaps if they stay and listen for a few moments they might emerge for the better and not the deader." He laughed. His voice was light and pleasant, A purr of an unknown origin, almost as if it was perfectly accent-less, but there was a threatening tinge behind it. A volatile creature held the reigns in the body, a dangerous mind.

Cuspin turned slowly, with deliberate grace, to examine the male at a closer range. The wounds truly were lovely creations. He made a soft sound in his throat, like a tch, and circled the male. Yes, he was very injured. More-so than the daemon had initially expected. The lad would have to learn how to fight without being injured, yes, but he shouldn't play his cards before the deck was dealt, he needed to keep all his thoughts linear for the moment. For the humans' sake.

"Perhaps I can help you, my little friends. I am a generous lad. I can give you one thing you each desire. Anything. fame, wealth, glory, intelligence, creativity, strength, beauty. The ability to make those who loath you stumble at your feet." Cuspin took a step away, his back momentarily to them, casting his hands out in the air grandly. Hopefully that kept the attention that his death threat had caught. "Anything you've ever wanted." He turned in his heels, wolfish eyes gleaming golden. His voice dropped to a conspiratorial tone, as if he was telling a precious secret. "Anything at all. All you'd need to do is help me stay alive so I can give you the world."

He grinned, a grin so topically charming it almost hid the blood-lust beneath.

"Or, of course, you could always refuse. And dawdle on my land. And subsequently die. Your choice. It would be a bit of a shame though. You two little humans are so curious."

There, that should help them make their decision. He was a very persuasive soul. They probably wouldn't catch his bluff. He'd do more to persuade them if they went to bolt, unless they were completely obstinate. Then he'd have to kill them whether he liked it or not. He couldn't have them running around and telling people. But he'd cope with the deaths. They'd be delicious, anyway, which would be sufficient compensation.

Aiden Pierce

Aiden had still been watching the screen, following her with the camera and adjusting the focus and settings continuously. At first, he didn't even acknowledge when Regina dropped her papers and spoke to the air, thinking it part of the film. It wouldn't surprise him if there was a little acting, after all, the creativity could possibly improve their grade. However, when she remained that way, he glanced up.

"Hey, what's the-" Then, he saw it. Catching the sight of of a figure in the left corner of his right eye, he turned his head to see. It seemed to be a strange, pale man who stood not too far from them. Suddenly, Aiden felt self conscious, aware of his surroundings, very creeped out, and many other emotions he didn't care to register. The only houses around here was Regina's and a couple others, perhaps this man was from one of those houses. Glancing down, he stopped the recording and focused his attention to the figure. Something about him was... off, but than again, when you appear out of nowhere in a forest where you had been watching teenagers film a movie without any protective supervision - Yeah, you were going to seem a bit 'off'.

His lips pursed together when the figure suddenly seemed to fade. He turned his head to see to his left just in case when the sound an unfamiliar voice pierced the air like someone stepping on a yellowed leaf in the fall, amid a symphony of silence. At first, he had thought the man to just be a nuthouse escapee that not remarkably far, but now he was certain it was far from. He turned quickly to see the Demon barely out of armsreach and he swallowed. The man's words were eerie and dangerous, like a live wire. Then, he turned to face him and Aiden's blood ran cold. He bit his lip, trying to narrow his eyes and look at least somewhat threatening, but managing barely a step back before his leg forced him to stop, sending a wave of pain up his spine. He felt like those wandering eyes were boring into his flesh, picking around for a weakness.

"Look, i don't know what you're getting at here - But we'll leave your land, okay?" he said, intimidated, glancing at Regina. Although he offered to leave, Aiden made no move to - Which barely made sense to himself. Deep inside his mind, man's voice drew him in and spun a web of temptation. Anything he wanted, huh? Fame, wealth, glory, and more? Whatever the man was, he talked crazy - But despite his common sense, at the moment, crazy sounded good. Really, good.

Regina's eyes struggled not to leave the figure, not trusting a word he said as he spoke to both of them with strange offerings and of course, threats. She had watched him fade into the darkness, her eyes strained slightly until he appeared much closer to them and her hands had flinched slightly. She dropped her papers again, her teeth gritted as she backed away a few steps and left them there, her hands clenching and unclenching while she listened to him weave more offers that were slightly intoxicating to think about. She quirked an eyebrow at the word beauty, and that stretched into attention... anything she wanted? Anything at all? That wasn't even possible.

His death threats made her heart leap and her stomach twist slightly as she cleared her throat and tilted her head at him after Aiden's intimidated tone had sent a message to her, but... he didn't move either. Of course this... creature, had gotten their attention. "Things like that can't magicially appear out of thing air, sir." Sir was stressed, a sarcastic comment as she looked over at Aiden with her eyes twinkling, and she felt her teeth bite her bottom lip. "And erverything has a catch. I'm sure yours requires payment too expensive for us to give." She said, looking at Aiden again before she gestured to the path, hinting that they would leave. Her eyes were focsed downward now as she waited for Aiden to make his first steps away from the man, even though she now was more curious then she had hoped to be. This man was either fucking with them, or he was quite serious, and she was interested... but his vibes, his aura were menacing, dangerous and odd... it spelled danger in her head, yet she felt his words wrapping around her mind as she started to day dream, even at the slightest.

The humans were tense, both wary of him. How cute. They were both interested though, as he'd expected. The male spoke first. He offered to leave, but didn't move anywhere. Caught like a little bug in a web. Cuspin didn't respond at first, he let his golden eyes flash in the male's direction, but the female distracted him before he could remark. She had a tongue on her. She was obviously uncomfortable. He turned his head towards her, and took a leisurely step closer to the girl. "A sensible lass." He quirked a genial smirk, folding his hands behind his back and inclining his head towards her slightly. "But don't speak in imperatives, someone will ultimately prove you wrong, no?" He ran his fingers across his face, starting at his chin and over his nose, then up to his hairline, raking his fingers through the white-blonde hair.

Then he smirked out from a slender female face with full lips, a delicate nose, and wide blue eyes. His voice, however, remained male. "I can do whatever I like, my little human." He said as the facade slowly melted off his face, features melding back into his usual visage. The act poked at his magical abilities, promising that he wouldn't do any more personal face swapping for the day unless it was something easy. He could produce more inane magic for their amusement, and of course he'd kept a reserve for what he'd need to do for these little humans, but he'd need sustenance before too long. One simply couldn't go long without eating.

"I do have a catch though, clever girl, it's not expensive at all though, certainly within your...capabilities I'm sure." He waved a hand airily, leaning back briefly on his heels as he turned to include the male human in his explanation. "I give you what you want, you find food for me. See, just a small price." Okay, maybe a bit of litotes, it was a bit more of a big deal than he made it out to be, just a little bit though. Just a little bit of murder. But he'd not let them know that until they were fully caught. For some reason murder seemed to deter humans. Unless, of course, there was a proper reward for the deed. Maybe he'd let them play with their new toys before telling them just what it was that he ate. Then they'd appreciate their gifts more, now wouldn't they.

"You could leave, if you want," No, no they couldn't leave. They could say yes, or they could die. But they had to have some volition of their own, feel like they were actually making a choice. Otherwise it would be no fun at all. No fun at all. "But wouldn't that be a shame? You don't have the chance to fulfill all your wildest dreams every day, do you, my friends? If you leave now, you'll never see me again, and you'll always wonder exactly what you could have had." His golden eyes gleamed, as with possibilities for their future and not with thoughts of his next snack. Of course, the latter was more true, but they couldn't know that.

Gracefully the daemon reached down and plucked a blade of grass from the damp forest floor and began pulling blood red petals out of thin air and attaching them to the new stem as if without thought.

"Of course, I can always prove my aims for you, if you like." He said pleasantly. "You, boy, I could take away your wounds, if you wish. Just set you back to how you were before. Unless, that is, you consider them some sort of badge of honor?" His tone was just the slightest bit scathing as he dropped the finished rose and it hit the ground with a soft sigh. He took a half step towards the male human, tipping his head ever so slightly in inquiry. And maybe a bit of a challenge.

Absolving topical wounds would be easy enough to do with what he had left. Just moving blood around a little bit, shifting a few organic things until they went back to how they were supposed to be. He was adept at working the human body, he had an understanding for them too, like any farmer would have for his most important cattle. Needless to say, he'd eaten and built enough bodies to understand how they worked.

Piece of metaphorical cake. Real cake was foul. Too much sweetness in it. But abstract cake was perfectly fine with him.

Re: Dangerous Deals

Hey, guys...

I'm really sorry that i've been gone.
I got really sick a while ago and I just got back from hospital care. I'm okay now, tired, but okay. I'lll be posting right now.
I'm sorry if you thought i dropped, but don't worry! I'm still here.

Re: Dangerous Deals

Alright, I suppose this thing is on hold until Alice posts.

Re: Dangerous Deals

Oh, maybe I should mention that I'm waiting for Arha to post again. I'm not going to post until they've gotten settled down ^^ If that's what you've been waiting for, Alice, go on ahead :3

Re: Dangerous Deals

I'm really hoping this doesn't die.

Re: Dangerous Deals

That sounds like a good idea!

Re: Dangerous Deals

Yeah, that sounds great! Maybe Cuspin puts himself in their little school friend circle to keep an eye on them and such too?

Re: Dangerous Deals

Pie came up with a brillian idea that, instead of Regina and Aiden always having what they want, they need to return each day to Cuspin to get it reknewed of sorts. So, Regina has to return so he can re apply the glamour on her and then Aiden needs to return whenever he needs more money. c: I think it's splendid; gives more of a chance for them to interact and keep all three in a triangle of sorts.

Re: Dangerous Deals

I should be around unless the winds get too bad ^^

Re: Dangerous Deals

Hope we get more rp time in tonight o:

Re: Dangerous Deals

That sounds like a good idea o: I think both would work.

I think for Regina, she will go to a party and be sexually harrassed. And then photos will be put online, and at school harassment continues .Trying to think of another situation.

Re: Dangerous Deals

Yeah, i figured that would be the plan. :)

I think someone will kidnap his little sister and she will be 'missing' and they demand ransom. People breaking into his house would be awesomely too. ;u; I'm sure i'll find ways to pile it on.

And sounds great! Ah, i'm looking forward to this!

Re: Dangerous Deals

I think roleplays actually work better when you have fewer people.

Alright, I forgot if I explained this to you Alice but, I discussed with Pie that the way Regina and Aiden are going to wish they had never made a deal, is not just murdering people and giving them to a demon to consume, but really bad events.

For Regina; a main one is extremely sexual harassment and embarrassing photos.

For Aiden; I'm thinking when he gets a bunch of money, people are breaking into his house and car and, possibly a family member gets injured during the process or something of the sort?

We can come up with other little things that happen, but those events combined with murders will probably leave them wanting to beg or demand a refund. Which, of course, won't work because they will die if they do. x3

Re: Dangerous Deals

Both posts were very lovely :D
