That the gods created the planet as a form of entertainment. They joined their abilities together and the ground was made, water flowed, the atmosphere encompassed the entire planet in a protective cover. It wasn't much, but it was something. Something that they could manipulate and change at their own will and they enjoyed it. As time went on, the planet began to take on a mind of its own. Plants sprang up form the soil, animals were born of the ground, water, and air. It was something unexpected, but not entirely disliked by the gods. With every new life born they grew more and more attached to their little creation and they supplied what was needed for life to thrive.

One of their most precious gifts was man. Man adapted to just about everything that the gods threw at them, not the cold of winter or the heat of summer was able to deter them from surviving. The most precious aspect of man was their ability to create as well. In their own right they were like tiny gods themselves, but their creators were sure to remind them of their place when they got too out of hand. To this man created many temples and shrines dedicated to the gods as thanks for their lives.

Unfortunately, man was greedy and arrogant. They cared for nothing, but their own gratification. War amongst themselves spread and the planet was devastated by their actions. As a punishment the gods created horrific creatures of various forms and when they clashed with man, man lost. For centuries, the creatures ravaged man's civilization and man's prayers to their gods went uncared for. It was a sad fate brought about by man's own selfish actions. It wasn't until almost all hope was lost that the gods granted man mercy.

A young man out hunting with his father found himself attacked by one of the creatures his people had been dealing with for centuries. The attack rattled him, heart pounding franticly in his chest, and just as the final blow to snub out his life was to be dealt his hand rose up in defense and out of it spewed fire. It engulfed the creature, burning it until it was nothing more than a pile of ash. As he showed his ability to those around him they became apprehensive, but as time passed and as he protected them he was praised as their savior. Five other individuals arose with power of their own and they joined forces to protect man in the name of the gods who granted them their gifts.

Fire, water, earth, air, lightning, and shadow: the elements found naturally thoughout the world. Their wielders kept the creatures at bay for years until finally one succumbed to death. As they laid the warrior to rest many feared that they would have no protectors one day, but when one of the six passes a new generation is founded and trained by the previous. This cycle has continued for centuries and has not been broken.


With each passing generation, the warriors learned and adapted to the creatures they've had to face and they've done pretty well in keeping humans safe. With the protection they provided humans were allowed to prosper once more and their technology grew to new leaps and bounds. The more advanced technology became, the more humans began to lose touch with their roots. No longer did they pay their respects at temples or listen to traditional teachings, they even began to take the warriors for granted. Transportation, entertainment, and communication all have experienced significant changes with each passing generation.

For centuries the base of all operations has been the city of Vilkaf. The most advanced settlement in the world it is also the place where the warriors are brought to be trained. With a council at the head of the political system, many believe the warriors to be a thing of the past. Recent propaganda has left some of the populous afraid or suspicious of them and many of the city's residence have supported the completion of Vilkaf's personal defense system nicknamed Kaitsva. When the system was completed the council deemed the warriors as unnecessary. With a big 'celebration' as a send off they were retired whether they liked it or not.


Though reassurance from the council says all is well with the city, the defense system is imperfect. Despite their 'retirement' the warriors still continue to protect the city and the surrounding area. Unfortunately they are watched closely by the council and Vilkaf police and one slip up or show of power in the open can result in their imprisonment. This makes their job even harder, because one day they know the system will fail.

Man's arrogance and rejection of the gods gifts have lead them to stray from the path of safety once again, and while their backs are turned darker forces of evil are being created. Smarter, faster, more lethal beings who want the world as their own...


The entire planet has been given the name Baaksei. There's one main landmass with a few islands scattered beyond its shores. It's filled with various terrains including desserts, plains, mountains, and valleys, some of which is still untouched by human hands but house far more sinister creatures. The main city of human civilization and that holds that largest populous on the planet is the city of Vilkaf. It's a sprawling landscape of skyscrapers and buildings that is enclosed with steel walls. Technology is the most advanced here with large laboratories being dedicated to making the lives of people more pleasant. Vilkaf is always bright with light from the many televised billboards and streetlights found throughout the city.

Cars and trains are the main type of transportation both inside and out of the cities. Smaller cities and rural towns do not have as much technology as Vilkaf, but the people who live in them still lead fairly comfortable lives. Radios are a must not just a form of entertainment. They received alerts from local authorities in warning of a potential creature attack.

Vilkaf's defense system, Kitsva, is one of a kind. With numerous large generators and connection points found throughout the city, produces a large barrier structure that protects the city. Since its creation several years back, many people have flocked to the city instead of dealing with the looming threat of creature attacks.


Just a bit of background beforehand to make life easier for interested RPers. A new generation is not created until after one of the previous six has died. Powers can manifest at any age, as long as they were born after the first person from the previous generation has died. I'm going ahead to say that it's been about 25 years since then, so I want characters to be 18-25 years of age. This is also not a first come first serve, if there are multiple parties interested in a position Char and myself will compare profiles and choose. That being said, both GMs also need to approved of a character before it is accepted, so please be patient

As far as villains are concerned Charlotte and I will play them to keep the plot moving along, but that's not to say we aren't opened to accepting interesting ideas or creature characters. Just PM us about it or mention it in the OOC and we can discuss possible ideas or the one you already have.

On another note, being a warrior is not genetic. I simply have my characters related out of convenience and to make my life easier. That's not to say that a character can't have an ancestor that had been a warrior, it's a possibility, but warriors are chosen at random and can come from all parts of the world. Your character can be born in any town or city (go ahead and make on up) and can have whatever roots you want them to have.

Here is the character skeleton. After you've filled out everything in it feel free to format it in whatever manner you wish. I do want just one thing to be consistent though, pick a real person as your FC. It can be whoever you want, but I will reject you if I open up the submitted character and see an anime picture.
