Three teenage friends find themselves in an unknown world after falling into a cave while hiking in the woods. It is a world with a war brewing between its six nations, all racing to find and control the Holy Lands, a lost land that is home to golden riches and artifacts, strange creatures, and powerful magic beyond anyone’s imagination.

Teens From Earth (Ages 15 or 16):

Miou: Female. Was the first to go after teen 2 after he fell in the cave.
Hajime: Male. Tripped and fell in the cave first.
Kimiko: Female. She's the one who organized the hiking trip. Went after Teen 1 and 2 after they didn't come out of the cave.

Teens From The Nations (Ages 15-19):

The Warrior from Engysa: Male. He’s a hopeful warrior from a tiny town in rural Engysa. He seeks an indestructible sword from the Holy Lands, one supposedly constructed by a God to give to his mortal son. ~Maximilien~

The Mage from Florevene: Female. A mage from Florevene who is fleeing the king from Sylvitra, who wants to use her power to locate the Holy Lands. She seeks a book of ancient spells from the Holy Lands. ~Euterpe~

The Dragon Tamer from Sylvitra: Male. An adventurer from Sylvitra, without a dragon of his own he took his older brother's dragon from their home and left during the night. He seeks to tame the legendary dragon that resides in the Holy Lands. ~Akir~

The Eldest Brother from Sylvitra: The elder brother awoke the next morning to find his trusted dragon companion missing. He's been trailing his brother across the nations by horseback. Finally he catches up to the group and joins their journey to the Holy Lands. He hopes to help his brother in his quest to tame the legendary dragon, and maybe collect some riches of his own. ~Alaric~

~Equinoxis~ A dark mage sent from Sylvitra to locate and capture (the mage from Florevene) for the king. He is a gentle man, who despite his outwardly teasing and optimistic appearance, he harbors deep ambitions, and many dark secrets. He is very protective of helpless things like children or animals, but his personality can change on a dime. He joins the group to keep an eye on the mage from Florevene and eventually take her to the king.

The Nations

Amas (Um-mus): A peaceful but powerful nation. Amas has a strong army and notable scholars, and chooses peace rather than warfare when it comes to it. Soldiers spend most of their time within the nation protecting its citizens. The previous king passed away not too long ago and his son came into power, leaving the nation slightly vulnerable. Their nemeses are Donathand and Sylvitra. Their ally is Engysa. Amas is a wealthy nation.

Engysa (In-gis-a): A rural farming nation that is home to many craftsmen and merchants. It’s a common place for bandits. The man that rules the nation is kind and old with many grandchildren. Their neighbor and nemesis is Donathand. Their allies are Amas and Mytana. Engysa is a poor nation.

Sylvitra (Sil-veh-tra): Powerful mages and magic users live in Sylvitra. The land is flooded with magic and unusual creatures, like dragons, and strange giant plants inhabit it. The king used to be kind and levelheaded, but with the discovery of the Holy Lands pending closer day by day he has become much greedier. Their allies are Florevene and Donathand. Their nemesis is Amas. Sylvitra is of average wealth.

Donathand (Don-uh-thand): Donathand has an army that easily rivals Amas. Their soldiers are blood-thirsty and heartless. They are best known for their use of tamed animals during combat (such as lions and other mighty creatures). Their king often sends raiders to their neighboring town of Engysa, to steal the goods the merchants craft. Its ally is Sylvitra. Its nemeses are Amas, Engysa, and Mytana. Donathand is a wealthy nation.

Mytana (Meh-tan-uh): Mytana is a cultural hub, full of entertainers and attractions for ones amusement. It is a common meeting place for world leaders. It draws in an assortment of people and is considered a neutral zone to most. It is the only nation ruled by a queen, a sweet woman who might have a couple of screws loose. Its allies are Engysa and Florevene. Its nemesis is Donathand. Mytana is of average wealth.

Florevene (Floor-eh-veen): Florevene is an island nation off the coast of Sylvitra. It specializes in growing herbs and making spices and fishing. They are excellent sailors. Most inhabitants traveled from Sylvitra and it is also home to many powerful mages, most of whom practice elemental magic. It is also ruled by an elderly king, who is intelligent and wise. Its allies are Sylvitra and Mytana. It has no nemesis. Florevene is of average wealth.

The Beginning:

During the summer, three friends go on a hiking trip in the mountains. They stumble upon a hidden cave and fall deep into the darkness. They wake up face first in the dirt. When they look up, they see a stone wall rising up around a city. This is the capital city in Mytana. Here, they will have a fateful encounter with their future companions, all of whom had one reason or another to be there. What will happen from here on? Who knows. Our story is just beginning.
