Dawn was just breaking when Aila grabbed her clothes from a marked tree. It had taken some getting used to, but Aila knew what she was doing now. Being in a pack was rough sometimes. Especially when you had to change in front of the guys. Slipping a pair of old jogging pants on with her high school hoodie, Aila thought about her night. It was one of the best she'd had in a while. The night air was amazing and it felt amazing on her midnight black fur. There weren't many nights that Aila got to herself and she took the opportunity when she had it. She took a deep breath before she pulled her long, dark hair into a messy bun. Then, she took off for Cole's. Her stomach was grumbling and Cole always had food. She, on the other hand, didn't. Therefore, Cole's was the obvious choice.
Nearly ten minutes later, Aila was stepping into the driveway. She walked briskly to the door, turned the brass knob, and walked in. She didn't bother with knocking, no one did. The pack was like one big family; there was no need to introduce your arrival. Stepping through the wooden doorway, a whiff of bacon and eggs hit her nose. Aila made a slight animal-like sound before heading towards the kitchen. No one was in the small room and Aila wondered where everyone else was. The young women didn't take too long to think though. The food was too much of a distraction and she quickly dug in. After her plate was piled high, Ay made her way towards the dining room table and took a seat, a piece of bacon hanging from her mouth.
