Hey there I'm Danielicious and when it comes to this site I'm as green as leaves. ;-;
It's all white and airy and daunting and I haven't roleplayed in forever and I don't really know what to do with myself so I thought I'd just throw myself into the newbie area and try to make friends. :C

And there's a scary red X that wont let me do things and it's all "GOTOCHAT" so I'm like "IHAVENOCHATTOGOTO" and... And it just went away. Yaaaaay.

But I'm not checking my grammar ;-;

So in short. Hey. D:

Dont worry leaves don't stay green forever. If your looking for a role play i have a zombie one just starting up if thats you thing. If not just look around, talk to some people and make friends. After that you already have a set of roleplayers who can refer you to any good roleplays. When i joined this site i hadn't RPed in ages but its good here and i think you will love it.

Sorry about that... I started doing it when I first arrived here, and now I can't seem to enter Welcome Threads in any other manner.

Anywho, welcome to Gateway, Danielicious. I am Zephyr, your resident avatar of obnoxiousness, windy things, and pyrotechnic entrances.

I'm glad to see that you're at least trying to make new friends. I could be one of those people, if you so wish. But I warn you, as you have seen, I have a tendency to spontaneously explode.

Anywho, here are a few links you should check out so you can get started on the forums.

First and foremost, The Rules. Know them, and know them well, for they are few, but heavy.

Secondly, if you're having difficulties navigating the site, be sure to give The Newbie's Guide to RPG a read. It has some great tips on how to integrate yourself into our little society.

And third, if you feel that you've got the hang of our mechanics, and would like to start RPing immediately, check out the Roleplayers Wanted and the Interest Check boards to see if anything catches your eye.

If you ever need any help, give one of us staff members a shout. We're the ones with the oddly coloured usernames [excluding yellow and purple].

I hope you find what your looking for, not everyone does.
To start you can't send pm/chat (private messages) until you post like 4 times ... anti spam thing.
There are several places to go to chat, most roleplay games they don't mind you posting in OOC, forums.

You can join games and post with them. roleplay

What ever you do, relax, have fun, don't expect too much (alot of roleplays' seem to die off, and it can be frustrating)
Find a good group of people, and you should be fine... here is the group I roleplay with...it's still accepting (characters can be found in OOC tab, above it)
