ImageThe day that the new girl transferred to Hopkins High shook the walls of the Victorian building. They hadn't had a new kid in ages, not since freshman year and that girl had quickly become one of the Queen Bitch's lackeys. But this girl isn't interested in climbing the social ladder. All she wants is to stick to the back walls, not push past anyone, and not have anyone notice her. She doesn't speak. She doesn't look at you. And no one knows why. Teachers have tried for the past week to get her to read an excerpt in class and all she does is just stare at them. In any other world, this girl might have gotten her wish and slipped into the school's darkness. But the Queen wants everyone to fit into her little boxes, and she especially wants them to only talk about her. But this new girl is intriguing, and has everyone's attention. The Queen is preparing for war, and this girl doesn't even know what's coming.

Everyone has their own issues. And most keep them hidden. Is there someone out there who's willing to break the social order?
