So. I'm Valeria. I'm 17 years old. I've always lived in the same place- it's not all big and shiny like what they usually show on tv, like modern family or anything, but it's not like I live 'in the hood', either. It's just....old. You know, that one part of the city that the city ignores because it's on the side and they'd rather invest in new mailboxes or something. They even had to add a 'South' in front of the Haysee to make a distinction between the nicer part and the 'meh' part; it's not even that big of a city. Sometimes it seems like it's the kind of place where dreams come to die. At least for the grownups. I've known some of my friends since preschool, some a little later, but we're all close...and not in a gross way or anything, like an actual family. I'm not orphaned or anything, but you know, when your dreams are dead, you can turn into a really bitter person that argues about everything. Sometimes you just need a break, and a slightly more ideal family where everyone can count on each other.
