“Yo, Teris! Get your lazy butt up!” A voice yelled from the other side of his closed door, Teris replied merely with another moan. “We've got somewhere to be,” The voice belonged to his cousin Skylar and the leader of the Poisons.
“I know, I know.” Teris replied wearily. Almost instantly a thought occurred to him, his cousin would never be up before midday so it must be extremely late. Teris swiftly lifted his head and shot up out of bed, grabbing the nearby clock and glancing at the time; 8:19. “Ugh.” he threw the thing back over at the bedside table, however it missed and smashed against the wall. Teris didn’t care though, he merely fell back onto the bed and covered both his eyes with his arms, letting out another loud groan.
It took approximately ten minutes for Teris to finally pull himself out of bed, he threw on some clothes which he left on the floor; a white shirt, white trousers, a brown belt, black boots which went past the knees; and a black jacket. He picked up his gloves from the floor, his weapons, and a hair band on the side before exiting the room and continuing into the kitchen. He threw the weapons on the kitchen counter, making a loud scraping sound which made him cringe.
“Morning Sky,” Teris yawned, finally putting on both of his gloves and pushing the long hair away from his eyes. One could easily tell that he had just gotten out of bed, Teris never made an appearance without his hair tied up if he could help it; his clothes were scruffy and his eyes showed nothing but exhaustion. Teris flinched slightly when he heard yet another bang from the roof, “Damnit, doesn’t that guy take a break?” he glared towards the roof and grumbled. It was rare for Teris to be in such an irritable state, usually he would be calm and collected, however when faced with a hangover as painful as this he could not act his usual self; everything annoyed him. Finally Teris managed to drag his hair into a hair band behind him, allowing some to hang loose at the front. He glanced around the kitchen and found an bottle of beer on the side. Cursing himself from not putting it away, Teris grabbed it from the kitchen counter and pulled the lid off with his hands. He took a long swig but felt extremely ill so decided to tip it away.
“I don’t think I ever want to drink again.” Teris uttered under his breath, resisting the urge to vomit. He collected himself together and turned back around to Skylar, “Get the others and let’s get this meeting over with.” Teris said as he began attaching the weapons to his person. He fastened the hidden blade on his right wrist, testing it and making the blade swiftly pop out and then back. He strapped the katana to his side and slipped the signature dagger into his right boot.
