John and his children had settled in for the night, leaving the remaining few boxes to sit till the next day when they would resume their unpacking. Despite the strange goings on that had occurred throughout the day the night was relatively uneventful and still. John was up in his room finishing up the last few touches to his new abode, deciding to leave setting up the bathroom until the morning. "To hell with it, thats enough unpacking for today." John said as he backed out of the bathroom. Although he wasn't particularly satisfied with the position of his bed within his room he decided to make due for the night. It wasn't quit bedtime yet and so John joined his children in the living room where the family gathered to watch, of all things, a scary movie on TV. Matt and Mattie were sitting on the couch next to each other, as they usually would when watching television together. John sat down on the couch next to Mattie and put his arm around her so that he could also reach Mathews shoulder with his hand. "How are you guys doing." John asked as he starred at the TV screen, which was blazing forth imagery from the classic horror flick Night of the Living Dead. ""Johnny your acting like a child."" ""There coming to get you Barbara." Was what the family of three was hearing upon the screen, when suddenly there came a loud crashing sound coming from upstairs.
