The blaring sound of the alarm beside Dean's bed forced his eyes open. The sunlight spilling into the room kept him from going back to sleep.

"Nrglmmhergummllps..."

He grumbled still half asleep as he reached one hand out of the covers to attempt to either shut off the clock or smash it to bits. The effort resulted in Dean spilling out of the bed to come crashing onto the floor in a tangled mess of blankets a few pillows and somehow his jeans from the night prior. Dean sat up with a sigh.

"Alright I'm up..."

He groaned before standing and kicking the blankets out from around his feet. As he went through his morning routine of brushing his teeth, showering, the usual, his mind mulled over the life he was about to begin living. A life of lies and deception. He had to make the world believe and more importantly two women that he and another detective were nothing but pampered, spoiled college kids living off their parents dime all the while trying to build a case and one that would stand up in court no less against a master assassin and a world class thief. "Should be fun." He thought to himself as he came out of the shower and grabbed some clothes. He hadn't had time to unpack yet so he just pulled his clothes out of his suitcase. After throwing his jeans, a clean tee and his boots on he headed downstairs to meet his new partner and to get some food. He tried remember what he could about the detective. Mason Lamberg, 29, originally out of Indiana. Had a reputation for getting the job done not unlike Dean himself. Something about the man's sudden move to the big city to take this job seemed off so Dean filed it away to ask him about it or find out on his own later. Ever the detective. Dean reached the main floor to find Lamberg standing over a pair of large cardboard boxes.

"Morning. Nice digs huh?"

Dean asked casually in way of greeting as he started to brew a pot of coffee. Once the pot was doing its thing he turned and leaned against the counter, crossing his arms across his chest as he relaxed.

"Whats that?"

He asked referring to the boxes.
