Nathan meandered his way up to Jess and stopped beside him, questioning him as to what kind of individual could do something so savage. Jess turned his head to the left and looked toward the shadows which protruded from the building next to where the Chow family had settled. "Perhaps someone like them." Nathan looked over to where Jess was starring and noticed the dark figures of four strange individuals, all of whom looked deformed and yet menacing. Jess cocked his Winchester rifle and was about to raise it and pull the trigger when all of a sudden, one of the figures bolted away and in a flash had jumped onto the roof of the Chow residence. The individual who had hidden their identity with shadow now revealed itself to be more animal then human as it ran on all fours across the roof. Jess followed the creatures movements with the front-sight of his weapon, but before he could get off a shot the thing had jumped down the back of the structure. Turning his attentions instead to the remaining intruders standing by the Post office who had unfortunately taken off the instant their partner had ran.
