Dean's eyes carefully studied his new partner. One of the annoying habits he'd picked up and never been able to shake. Looking for every little detail in the people he came in contact with was great when he was working, annoying when he wasn't. It did have its advantages. Lying to Dean was no doubt as hard as lying to Mason from what Dean could tell. Con men could always spot another con man. Mason was good. Probably as good as Dean was. Maybe better but Dean caught the slight hesitation in his words. The almost in-detectable presence of mind to appear unconcerned with their task. Then there was the moment of inner turmoil. Like he was giving himself a mini pep talk. It was quick and if Dean hadn't been paying attention he would have missed it all together. The guy had some baggage. Hell who didn't Dean wasn't gunna push the guy. Wasn't any of his business but he couldn't help but be a tad curious. Dean took a sip of his coffee before replying.

"Sounds like fun. Never been to Shianos before. Heard the counter staff is the stuff of legends. Probably our girls...."

Dean stood up and put his nearly empty cup in the sink.

"You're right though man. Something tells me buying these ladies a couple Jager bombs and inviting them back to the apartment will just get us both killed. In the interest of self preservation lets play it safe. I wanna stake the place out before we head up there tonight. I wanna know what we're gunna be walking into before we actually do. Let's do a quick drive by and take a look around. C'mon I'll drive."

Dean said as he went to grab his keys.
