Dean's eyes studied the man Jacqueline had danced with. The two obviously knew each other. About 6 even 6"1, about 153 lbs, no sign of any tattoos or scars yet. A student by the look of him, not necessarily bookish but wasn't some hard ass by any means. Probably never been in a real fight his whole life. Dean smirked and got up before turning to Mason.

"Hang here a minute."

With that Dean dissapeared into the crowd and made his way to the dance floor where Jacqueline had left the guy. Dean picked up a half empty beer bottle and began to stumble, running right into the guy. The man spun around in surprise and helped steady the seemingly inebriated Dean. Dean put his hands up in a sign of apology.

"Sorry bro I... Sammy??"

Dean asked as if he was in shock. The guy looked more than a little confused.

"Uh wha-"

"Sammy!"

Dean said before grabbing the guy and throwing his arms around him in an overly enthusiastic hug.

"What's up man?! How've ya been??"

He said with a laugh before letting him go. The guy smiled with a half chuckle in return but shook his head.

"Sorry man my names Lee. You've got me confused with someone else."

Dean paused for a moment and looked at his face really hard before allowing an expression of realization to erupt onto his face.

"Oh shit man I'm sorry."

Dean paused to laugh and clasp the guys shoulder.

"Dude you look just like a friend of mine. Damn that's awkward."

"It's fine man."

"Nah I-I feel like a dick."

Dean pushed but Lee just shook his head dismissing it politely.

"Really its ok."

Dean shot a quick look back to the bar like he came up with an idea.

"Hey tell ya what, let me buy you a beer."

Dean offered with a polite smile. Lee seemed to consider it but Dean's everyman attitude seemed to have won him over.

"Sure man, what the hell."

Dean broke out in a wide smile.

"Awesome, c'mon!"

He said patting Lee on his back. Now he had his bait. He just had to wait for Jacqueline to go looking for her friend and if not, he could at the very least get some information from the guy about the infamous thief.
