Though she was trying to hide it, Maya was in a state of shock. She could actually feel the pain here, in the screams, and the brief glimpses that she got of the people in the cells. Many of them were young, very young. Like those kids. Were they really here? Part of her hoped not. The other part of her hoped that they were, so that they weren't here for nothing. So that she and Daren could help.
"Daren? Nà maith liom Ê seo ar chor ar bith... (I don't like this at all...)", she whispered to him, leaning forward a little, so that there was less chance of anyone else hearing her.
