" Why the Devil? I don't understand..." Kris' voice sounded confused, no.. More than confused, bewildered and completely and utterly lost, as she looked over at Leaf's now red eyes. They hadn't been like that a few minutes ago, the blonde was certain of it. Leaf shifted her position in her seat and Kris felt a shiver run through her body, partially of fear but also something else. Curiousity, perhaps? She wasn't sure.

" 'Leave'," the blonde repeated, her blue-green eyes wide and bright as she shook her head. She didn't know how to respond after Leaf had just admitted to killing someone. Kris probably should leave, for her own safety, but.. Of course, she didn't move from her seat as Leaf's voice pulled her from thoughts of just this. Kristina was staring at the redhead, her brain feeling absolutely muddled.

'Finish what we haven't started'? What did that mean?

Kristina's hands were in her lap by this point, holding her hands tightly in each other as she fought the confusion in her mind. What on Earth was going on? Once again she was mesmerized by Leaf's eyes, their colour drawing her in, only to be brought back by the sound of glass meeting the table. The blonde jumped back in her seat, almost falling to the side and to the ground, but caught herself in time to make sure no one else saw her blunder. How positively embarrassing!

Her eyes didn't catch sight of the man beside her, not even when he spoke, as she immediately turned her gaze back to Leaf. " I don't want to go," she murmured softly, shaking her head slowly even as her eyes appeared torn. Leaf's recent actions had scared her, she wouldn't lie, and made her quite jumpy.. But Leaf was the only one Kris knew in this town.
