Sayo was pleased when the boy turned, beginning to speak to her. In a place like this, she was relieved that he didn't simply disappear through a wall, or something like that. The relief on his face was plain, but Sayo's own face fell slightly when he told her he just got her as well. It seemed she was not the only one that fell into this strange place. She looked around uncertainly once more, her eyes inevitably drawn again to the building in front of her. The boy let go of his bike before coming closer. He pointed back at the colorful building and she looked back up at the massive structure. It seemed to touch the sky.

Suddenly, another voice came from behind them. Sayo immediately whirled around, new hope surging through her at the thought of someone who could maybe help them get home. It was an older, dark haired girl. In her hand was a rabbit, and Sayo eyed it curiously. She seemed cautious, walking slowly toward them. Sayo hoped she knew where they were, and could help them get home, or at least back to the fair. When the boy beside her wondered out loud if she come from the carnival too, Sayo scowled briefly at him. If she also came from the fair, she probably wouldn't be able to help them either. Her face still pouting, she said, "I'm Sayo. What if I don't want to go in there?" There was a note of whining in her voice, and she knew that going in the building was definitely what she wanted to do. She just did not want to be ordered around by this boy. She didn't even know him!
