What happened next wasn't a huge surprise for Pristine. When the guards closed in around them and one said they were being arrested, Pristine complied. While she still had plenty of energy to attack, she knew in this kind of situation, it was best not to act yet. Still, she was mildly taken aback when she overhead what Sikes and the one soldier said. Dragons? How did the king know about their dragons. Only those of the Light and Dragon clans knew about the Dragon souls, so how could the king, an outsider, know about them. Did that mean . . . one of their clansman was still alive and aligned with King Ryuu? But who? She knew that none of her tribe would have done such a thing. She had heard bad things about the king and even from here, she could feel bad energy from the King's area of the arena.

As Pristine tried to figure out who it could be, she could feel Sikes being pushed right next to her. She also felt her symbol burn a bit. That could only mean one of the others were close. Damn, this was not good! It would do if the others got caught now too. She wished she could warn the person.
