The teacher started saying something, and Darcy glanced up to hear the end of her sentence. "-is Destery," Ms. Toban finished, gesturing toards the boy who had just entered the classroom. His brunette hair hung in curls around his deep blue eyes. Darcy's eyes widened slightly, before blushing and quickly looking down at her arm, where she was doodling.
The boy with a weird name - what was it, Dexter? Something like that - sat down next to Demi, and Darcy almost felt a pang of sympathy towards him.
"Hi, I'm Demi Collins. Since you are new, I wouldn't mind showing you around," Demi said to the weird named yet extremely attractive boy. Seemed like Demi agreed with Darcy.
"Just a tip to the new guy from a girl that's been here far too long, I'd avoid her, she's completely nuts," Rosa butted in. Darcy tried to stop herself from bursting into laughter, but just managed to make some sort of whispery noise. She felt her eyes unwillingly tear up, and quickly wiped them away.
"Since we are introducing ourselves to people, I'm Lacey. Welcome to this uh- who am I kidding, how did you end up in this hell hole?" Lacey added. Darcy smiled at her, blushing lightly.
"And I'm Darcy. It seems like you've managed to get a class with the most insane people in the school," Darcy added in, joking. "And there's Dehlilah, too. She's not here right now, though." My roommate," she thought grimly to herself. She shot a glance over to Demi as she said this. "Apart from me, obviously. I'm not insane - well, not completely anyway." She grinned at the weird named boy.
