Alex was lost in his thoughts and busy running around in circles, his protective wolf-y instincts going haywire. What to do, what to do. He was probably gonna go insane if stayed here any longer. That can't happen, he thought before looking up at the sky... And wondering about fish. The ground wasn't all that muddy. He could see in the dark, hunt in it too. He lipped his lips and thought of which creek to go to. The one he had been at earlier didn't have that many fish and the ones there had practically kicked his butt. He snorted and decided to go the one north at the fartherest end of the territory. That creek was bound to have fish to eat. He made a shrugging gesture with his shoulders when he thoughts of Leon and Ryker. He could apologise for leaving by bringing back some fish? And maybe some rabbit? He turned and trotted away from camp, his mind on fish and... Deer in the northern part of the territory? He growled, thinking himself already going crazy.
Alex was almost nearing the creek when the wind turned in his favor and brought to his nose the scent of deer. Well what do you know? He could probably take down a calf by himself and maybe if he was careful, a young doe. He chomped his jaws, basically making them move in a up and down motion that made a clacking noise. It was a habit he had picked up he had started hunting. A habit you should lose? He was thinking and most of his thoughts often ended up with him losing his prey. Focus! Alex stalked through the debrief and caught sight of the deer. Curled down on the ground, does encircling young fawns. Just the right position. He ended up deciding to hunt the doe and fawn closest. The doe was covered in scars from other failed attempts to bring her down. Not exactly a beauty but it was still food. He went into a crouch and tried to get closer his back paws digging into the earth, getting ready to launch himself at her.
