"Of course I'm not going to say that, doofus. I just wish you had taken better care of yourself." Donovan was surprised at this. He had expected her to at least torment him a little. Donovan heard the footsteps about the same time as Emily, though she was the first to react. "C'mon, we gotta go...now!" Emily grabbed Donovan's hand before he could react. Emily spotted at run down little building and pointed to it. "We can hide in here for now until you feel up to running again." Silently Donovan was grateful, but he would have kept running without complain if needed. He followed Emily inside and saw that she once again put up a barrier. "What do we do now? Where do we go?"

Donovan started looking around at the inside of the building. There was a tiny kitchen area with a few cabinets that might have held food. A old bed was in one corner with a moth eaten blanket on it. A door led to no doubt a bathroom, but it probably didn't work anymore. "Well, for starters if we don't eat soon we won't be able to do anything else. Water would be good to." Donovan opened the cabinets in search of food. With a grin he pulled out two plastic bags full of dried meat and handed one to Emily. "Dried stuff like this almost never goes bad so it should be safe it eat." To make sure he opened his back and sniffed it. He almost started drooling when he smelled it. "Oh yeah, its fine."
