Perla slapped herself on both cheeks with her two hands. She wiped her tears away and sat up. She sniffled and got angry at herself. What is wrong with you, Perla?! Now is not the time to be crying! Perla looked and seen a familiar bag floating towards the raft... Perla smiled when she realized it was her water proof back pack. Yes! I'm finally getting some luck! Perla grabbed onto it and swung it around her back. She jumped on the side of the raft, making an attempt to jump into the sand, but slips and does a face plant in the sand. Here comes the bad luck.
Perla sat up and spit the sand out of her mouth. She could really go for some water... Then she heard some girl yelling about a spring water. Perla cheered mentally and tried following the sound of her voice, but went way too far into the jungle and got herself lost.
