Takeshi turned to see Takaya standing next to him with his scythe in hand, questioning what he was doing there near the alley. He snarled and snatched his scythe as he spoke. "Fight. Man not human. No time to explain. Fight!" Even though he said there was not time to explain, he took a small moment to gaze fondly at his scythe. In Takeshi's strange and heavily damaged mind, his scythe was like an extension of his soul. He'd been foolish to leave it in the tea shop, even under Takaya's care. He choked his hand up near the blade so it could be held easily while moving and threw himself back into the alley way. An empty alley way. He scanned the area. There weren't any escape routes except... He looked up towards the roofs and noticed a small section of the roof's edge was broken. He went to the roof tops? That bastard.
With a heavy sigh, and around a minute or two of Takeshi punching a wall until the wood was now a small pile of splinters, Takeshi exited the alley and rejoined Takaya, looking like a dejected, and mildly rabid, puppy. He grunted what might've been a greeting before slowly walking towards Yamaguchi inn where Suzo was likely waiting for them.
