"Look, buddy," he snarled, moving slightly closer. "I understand what the hell you are, but there's no fucking need to get this bitchy about me being kind to your girlfriend." This calm mood only lasted a moment until the male wolf continued speaking.
"Senior citizen?" Al repeated, his upper lip lifting as his nose wrinkled in a snarl. "You're crazy, Skippy. I offered to drive her home because obviously you weren't here to pick her up when her shift ended. Whose fault is that? Not mine." In the mean time, he found himself inadvertently sizing up to Derek, muscles flexing to make himself more intimidating. Not much was keeping him from snapping. As the other wolf stepped forward, Albrecht too moved a step closer, matching his advances.
A few bystanders had slowed their pace to watch from the opposite side of the street while those on their side hurried by. The height difference bugged Albrecht, causing him to try and puff himself up further, even standing slightly on the balls of his feet to do so.
"First and only warning Champ. Back off."
Al scoffed and rolled his eyes. For a seconds, he grinned and it was easy to see that his incisors had also sharpened in a animalistic manner while his eyes were also slowly becoming more and more like Derek's. "I don't need your warnings, kiddo...make me back off. I'm doing nothing illegal or wrong, am I? Since when was kindness a crime?" He scoffed again at Derek, the adrenaline rushing through him just as his testosterone levels seemed to soar through the roof. Then he decided to look toward Sara again. "Well, do you want me to leave you with him...?" He hoped she'd say no...but, then again, she hardly knew him herself.
