The Commander looked over his shoulder to see the blonde haired woman had asked a question about their training grounds. "Yes there is one past the inner gate, but I must warn you the Dragon attack has left it in disrepair, having scorched most of the field. Yet there are still some targets and training dummies that have survived. We are not in need of them so you may use what's left if you wish." The Commander answered her. "I hope you are not in need of equipment, much of it was ruined so whatever we have is needed for my men. Also the same condition apply to any sparring partners, I have all of my men out there on duty and cannot afford to spare even one of them." The Commander spoke as he turned his gaze to the Gatehouse. He waved his hand and the soldier's nodded as they opened the gates. Those that went with the Commander would see the Keep Grounds, and like he said a lot of the grass that made up this hill has been scorched into ash.

One of the barracks had been ruined, another in public use, and the one closest to the fort is used by the military. Where the training grounds is suppose to be is in disrepair like he said, much of the equipment ruined and gather into a trash pile. "Over there is the grounds, as I said it is a sorry sight, but we are delivering the scrap metal to the Smith to forge new weapons and equipment." The Commander spoke. "As for the rest of you Fort Andril is just ahead, we will enter through the front gates and we will store your horses in our stables." The men were already opening the gates as they spoke.

"Goodbye!" Taethion called out as Sylphine ran off, he wasn't quite sure where she was going but he supposed it didn't matter. Taethion knew how bad things were but this? It was disheartening to see all the damage wrought by the Dragon. The Children playing in the puddle barely gave him any smile. He felt bad for all the people whose lives and homes were destroyed, but this only further proves to him why this quest must succeed. If it's like this all across the Kingdom then the Dragon is a plague indeed. He followed the Commander hoping to hear any information about the Dragon, the sooner they can find the Dragon, the sooner they can end this senseless destruction.
