Taethion

Taethion nodded towards Iator, he was glad someone felt like something must be done. After all sending soldiers into the woods where the hostages are being held doesn't bode well in his mind. He wasn't sure about the Dwarf, Gale, The Gravedigger, or the Girl, but Bliston spoke up on this matter in direct opposition of Iator's vote.

"We we called upon to go hunt down a dragon. We weren't hired to go trumping through the woods looking for lost peasants, nor did anyone ask us for help. I don't know about you, but I prefer to be timely with my engagements. Besides," and at this he turned to Taethion "I don't suppose you heard exactly where this bandit camp even is?"

"Well we-" Taethion spoke trying to defend his point, but Bliston carried on and when he looked towards the Paladin he asked a very good question. Taethion sort of looked down as a frown formed on his face, "Well no, I didn't, what I did hear was that the released hostage was blindfolded when he was spotted. So, even if I went back to ask him, he wouldn't know anything." Taethion spoke saddened by this predicament. "That would also mean the soldiers won't know where to go either, and having them leave their charge for such an indeterminable amount of time seems like a bad move, especially considering the state of this town. Not to mention that I am worried that sending a large force of soldiers would be the worst way to handle this. What if the Bandits get scared and kill everybody? Maybe a smaller group of people, that aren't soldiers would at least throw them off, giving us a better opportunity to do something." Taethion argued without raising his voice.

Randionalia

The Elven assassin listened to the debate as to whether to intervene or not dragged on. She could see both points but felt a greater responsibility to the King and their quest. "Look, here Knight we haven't the time to waste on these matters. As much as I feel sorry for the people and their plight we have a quest to attended to. Bliston is correct, this isn't our concern, nor is it being made our concern. I do not know if you noticed, but the dire situation of our quest takes precedence, we do not exactly have an official deadline to keep! The Dragon could kill the Princess at any moment!" She spoke up.

Taethion

"If the Princess could be killed, even at this moment then what's the point of being in a hurry?" Taethion asked. That was tough to swallow but he is right in a way.

Randionalia

"Even though that is a possibility, I don't want her death to be on our hands! Even if the Dragon does kill her, but we were on our way, then at least we can say we didn't leave her fate to chance! We tried to intervene, but if we keep derailing our progress then we might as well place the same amount of blame on ourselves as with the Dragon." Randi spoke finishing her piece.

Taethion

Taethion didn't want to leave the fate of these civilians up in the air, but he didn't want to do the same to the Princess either. He wasn't quite sure what to say, they don't even know where the camp is and who knows how long they would spend finding it. Then Randi would be right and the Princess's death would be as much their fault as the Dragon's. Then at that moment Slyphine arrived. She must have gotten the message as well, but then Adrian entered after her and was carrying someone. It sounds like he knows what's going on as well, but Taethion noticed the body on his person. Curious, he asked the boy, "Who is that on your shoulder?" He said as he pointed to the body.
