The tripwire wasn't even a millimeter in length, it's transparent surface allowing for easy blending, stretching across not even two inches from Lance's left foot. Immediately stepping slightly backwards, he held his hand out in front of Satogi and Koko to prevent them from setting it off. "I see it," he told them The unsettling quiet of the floor made him unobservant for a time and he hated himself for it. He shouldn't let his guard down that easily. He'd been having a streak of running headlong into tricks and traps since about the third floor and he was just about sick of it.

He needed to be a bit slower. This wasn't a sprint. It was a loooooong jog and he wanted to see what was at the end.

"Here, follow my lead," Lance stepped over the tripwire, looking around for any more. Satisfied, he looked back to find Satogi had disappeared. He looked into the next room and spotted a room of pure brilliance...white to be seen all around with all sorts of symbols covering the walls.

"Satogi, can you decipher these?" he called to the paladin, who seemed eager to not talk about Sanul and his "dark arts".
