They were on their way back to the palace now, and her call with her sister, Cress had ended. Nee was nervous, anxious, she was afraid, she didn't know what to do. This could spell disaster, Cress was going to find out the truth to Kora's decision. That was when her holo came up, Itward sent her a text message, told her that he would lie, that Corren was informed of the truth, and as long as all six of the secret keepers ( Narcia, Itward, Kora, Aya, Corren, and Benkov) kept the secret, the truth would become the lie - the truth would change and become whatever they agreed on, as long as the real truth remained shrouded in uncertainty and lies. The power of consensus reality. It's magic will keep the truth covered in fog.

Things were already heating up. The chaos that Narcia predicted was beginning. Shiro seemed nervous as she watched the protests and the crowds, so Nee pressed herself closer to her lover. "We'll rise above this chaos." The Ice Queen said, a sacred vow, made true by a kiss on the ring. They would work together, and with love, be able to assure peace, somehow, in this fragmented, chaotic world. "So don't be afraid." There was a lot of sad people, a lot of frustrated, but there was nothing they could do except do their best. You couldn't save everyone. Trying to do so caused this mess.

A speech to acknowledge their deaths. The ice queen thought silently about Shi's suggestion. Would it work? When people demanded answers for the chaos like this, what they weren't looking for was the truth. What they wanted was something to blame, to throw their frustration and anger at, even if it was a lie. Whatever Nee said wouldn't matter, as long as she delivered an agent to be blamed. Nee knew her mother was the perfect scapegoat for this. There was already plenty of enmity towards her, after all. "I should. I'll plan one once we return home." Nee said quietly, already plotting out the words to make it work.

After Shiro's injection, Corren proceeded to explain about Kora's accident, and Nee knew he was lying. The truth would be concealed, Kora's true predicament wouldn't be revealed. "As soon as possible. Once she's recovered, you should send her to Tartaria to my sister." Corren nodded, giving Shiro a lollipop. Nee squeezed her lover's hand from the wheelchair, knowing that it was better for her sake that Shiro never found out the truth. "Shi, let's go back to the Playground while I organize my thoughts for the speech." Nee said, words running together in her head to make up a truth that would satisfy the masses.

Corren got to work. The girl was delivered, Korhya Filia, the girl he liked - though he'd never tell her, since he knew it'd never be requited. The girl was used in an experiment, but he was told to keep it a lie, to not tell anyone. A fake truth was created, and Corren wasn't sure if it was of his brother's or Narcia's crafting, but whatever the case, he agreed. Bringing the truth out would just cause further instability in this new fragile peace in the midst of the unification of the Eastern Continent. After the two Queens left, Corren started the procedure to bring Kohrya back to the world of the living.

It was a complicated process, but finally he got to the final stages. He slowly and steady raised the girl's bodily temperature, knowing that Korhya had given her consent for this experiment to be carried out. Still, the lie wasn't allowed to go out, at any cost. He would have to inform her, and Corren was afraid that Kohrya would, in her usual manner, respond with poison and anger and lash out like she always did. Once her temperature was raised, the brain activity started to rise back up, a strange surge of electricity shot up from the port implanted in her arm, towards the brain, and her body twitched.

Finally, as if it was a miracle, Kohrya Filia awoke. Her eyes opened and she blinked and puked and then coughed and choked because her body was weak after the sleep. Korhya opened her small mouth, stared at her two arms, cradled her head and let out a strange, weak sort of moan. The scholar knew it was time. "You're awake. It's been two days." And so, Corren went to it. He told her everything she needed to know - about the political affair in Tartaria, about the fall of the foreign nations, about Cress and Heron being in Tartaria and the deaths of Narina and the unification of the Eastern Continent, and most importantly, about the lie and the importance to keep it.

The girl blinked in confusion, as if she didn't understand one fundamental concept. "Co... Corren? Corren Archon?" The girl asked in a weak, quiet voice, far too weak and frail to be the roughshod Kora everyone knew and recognized. "Why am I in my sister's body?" Corren froze. Had he really - he reached for the plastic packet containing the chip, and then he realized. He forgot to replace Aya's chip with Kora's. So despite everything that had happened, Narcia's transfer still worked out as planned? He didn't know if he wanted to laugh or cry. But it was too dangerous to do another transfer, because based on the scans, her brain was reliant on the data from the chip now. If a replacement was done, Kora - no, Aya would need to undergo another procedure, and it was too risky at this point to attempt.

"Where is Kora? Where's my sister? This is her body, isn't it? What... what did you do? What did you do to her?"
