A rainbow-colored jet of fumes poured forth, washing over Shuckle's side of the battleground in case Winter tried anything fancy. If Shuckle did in fact trade away defense for offense to pull that trick, there was no way Winter wasn't aware of being a sitting duck. Either he stayed in and took the likely KO, or put his replacement in danger with the gases having a chance to paralyze as well as cause damage.
