Tora questioned Mimik what was going on with his Trigger as they ran. The boy was pretty much a foot and a half shorter then the girl, so it was actually a bit strange he could keep up so easily. Of course, he had no intention of thanking the scientists for that.

Apparently, Mimik had been finalizing the process of removing the annoying parts, such as the Obediance Function, the Punishment Function, and the Locator Function. However, as a result Tora currently was unable to fight. So they just had to run instead.

"I certainly do not have a death wish!" Tora said as he jumped over some rubble. Suddenly, large hulking monsters came out of the gates. Trion Soldiers, easily recognizable as there were plenty of pictures from the invasion four and a half years ago. Tora charged forward and actually caught up with the girl.

Then there was an explosion behind them, where the Trion Soldiers were exiting from.

It appeared to be someone had begun fighting the Trion Soldiers.

"Oh, good! Someone is handling things quite well!"

Although the action Tora was talking about should be too far away for his eyesight to get good detail on, he did not have normal eyesight so it was fine.
