If the twins managed to successfully jello-ify the pool overnight and not get caught, it would be unlikely the school would spend much effort into catching them to punish them even if they had a reasonable idea it was them. But, if they were caught in the act itself, that was a totally different issue.

As Asti kissed him on the cheek, Asta kissed him on the cheek right back. Wood Elves tended to be a very sensitive, emotional people who were not afraid to show expressions such as this to even just friends, let alone one's twin brother. Not every race would share the human's common sense. It was the same with why they were more okay with the idea of skinny dipping, why there were leaves spread out and preserved with magic on their beds, and why they they tended to be so open and free spirited. That was also why they slept together. In Wood Elf culture, sleeping the way they slept was considered natural and the common sense choice.

Their prankster spirits however? That was more unique to them. Not something that was common for every wood elf.

"So, then what do we do after you finish the magic? We cant set up the fireworks during the day either. Should we go play games at the Arcade? Go out and explore the city? See if Ollie is working on any new Apps? Play around in the bath some more? Watch Star Wars: Episode XV? Or maybe..."

Asta then pulled down Asti's pants and underwear...but then shrugged. He did find it amusing and playful sure, and it was funny to see how Asti would react. However...it would be more effective on other people, doing that to Asti was essentially the same as doing it to himself. Asti's body was identical to Asta's body, after all. Though it did mean that Asta could take off all his clothes, run around outside naked, and say it was Asti...but, he was only being playful with his brother, not mean. That would be taking it too far for jokes between the two of them.

"We should get out of these clothes to wear outside, put on something comfy or wrap ourselves up in a blanket like when we did after we got rained on and all our clothes got soaked, and watch stuff on TV? Or...well..."

Even though what Asta just said should be the more embarrassing thing, it looked like he had brought that up possibly to delay saying the final option. He ended up embracing his brother out of nervousness and being flustered. It was possible everything he said and did just now was all a delay for this...

"Maybe...we could go and...maybe play with some of the other kids...like, at the basketball court or something...maybe...you know what, we should just go with what I said before right? No need to push ourselves and get to know the others, right?"

Although Asta was more of an extrovert the Asti, and wanted them to make friends...it was obvious that although he clearly had the idea first, part of him resisted and wanted to go with any other option.

Asta was the only thing Asti had, and vice versa. So while Asta knew it would be healthy for them to make new friends, and try to be normal, Asta often acted out this way, like pulling Asti's pants down, suggesting they curl up together in a blanket and watch TV, because he was concerned that his brother might get hurt.

Well, he did also want to spend brotherly time with his brother too, but someone can have multiple reasons for doing something.
