A black hole grenade, of course...It was not litteraly a black hole, if it was it would suck up the whole planet whole. It was more akin to a vortex like effect...But he prefer black hole grenade because it sounded cooler. It’s event horizon was like a black hole, sucking everything inside it however after a set amount of time it would implode upon itself. With the grenade primed and ready to explode in the next few seconds he activated another device on his belt and attached a bayonet to his rifle before running the opposite direction to where he came from. Cutting anything that got in his way with a high frequency blade...Only it was like a makeshift high frequency spear...

Melee was not his strong suite, but then again it was hard to bring a massive hulking mech down here.
