"I don't want to win that way, Yuna. I think we should really both try to win, it's no fun when you know what's going to happen. I know we'll be okay. Let's just have fun with this and stop worrying about me for a little bit." Yuma thought to Yuna. He started to stretch and get ready for the duel, but he really had no idea what to expect. He and Yuna had both fought large monsters in the woods, but never each other and there was never any set of rules. Plus this would truly be a challenge since they could hear each other's thoughts.
Luke looked to Abigail and still saw the sympathy in her human eye. He didn't want to fight her like this, a duel to show of their strengths was one thing, but this wasn't the right thing to do about this.
"Look, I'm sorry I overreacted to the whole prank thing. I don't want to be mad at you when we duel, anger causes mistakes." Luke said and offered his hand to shake. His mind was already trying to figure out a way to defeat her.
