"That sounds good to me," the Museum of Light was a museum they all learned about. The Great Light Bearer War was, of course, the hallmark of history. It was the turning point for Japan and what allowed their city to flourish into the gleaming utopia the upper echelons of society believed it to be. London though, London was something else. The museum memorialized the pinnacle pieces of the war. Including the Black Reaper, Ronan, the technical genius, Allyana Vorkov, the Little Sinner, an idol in anguish, and little Yui, the Angel. There were more of course, there was an entire hall dedicated to them. Callisto could easily recall Dane's obsession with heroes and villains, touting how he waned to be like Ronan from the time they were young.
They were still young, a fact that was easy to forget. Callisto was only sixteen, she was reminded every time she thought about the cryo tube her body was frozen in. Her future, ripped away. She was supposed to finish high school, go to college, elevate her family's position. Instead, she was here, traveling the world, in a body she wasn't sure she could call her own. She was living in it, yes, but... how many sacrifices were made for her to be here? Lita was gone, and in a way, Callisto knew Jace wasn't over it. She loved her though, Jace loved Callisto for herself, not for the person she used to be. A hand slipped into her own, falling into step beside her. As protective as ever, she wasn't opposed to Io coming with them, Callisto had expected her to protest, but instead, Black Jack had. Why?
"You only picked that for Dane's sick, didn't you?" Callisto teased, sticking her tongue out at her sister. Was it weird for Io to see Callisto with another girl? Their parents certainly wouldn't appreciate it, they were old fashioned in their beliefs. Callisto herself had certainly never thought she would end up with someone older and... female. Due to their indecision, Black Jack made up an itinerary for them. "It sounds good to me!" Callisto chirped, placing her bag down on the bed. "I'm going to change into something more suitable for touring, I'll be right back." Jace followed Callisto into the bedroom, closing the door behind her. "You should wear this one," Jace pulled out a set of plainclothes a white blouse and black skirt. "It's perfect," no need for elaborate outfits when you were supposed to be in disguise.
Once dressed, the two of them exited the room, Black Jack having already called a car for them. "Let's go," he pushed them out the door, disappearing as soon as it closed behind them. While Callisto couldn't see him, no doubt everyone but Dane could. "I know we only get today to look around, but let's make the most of it!" Hopefully her optimism didn't seem forced, Callisto was just happy to be with the people she loved in a new city.
