Lucie confirming the statue was made of Angelite brought a knowing smile to the sorceress. Lilith knew the stone was sacred to the people of Serein. It was good to see that even with no memory of Rhindeval, it appeared that girls' unconsciousness still remember it somehow. Lucie then took the time to complain about her bodyguard. Lilith sighed. Even though she had did her best to make sure the girls ended up in good adopted homes, she knew she couldn't do anything after that due to lacking her powers at the time. It seemed just like on Rhindeval, Lucie, or rather Justice, had been spoiled. She really should have been in charge of her own money, but it wasn't Lilith's place to order her though. Still she took pity on the girl. Before she could say anything, Lucie turned her attention to Dawn.
Dawn herself didn't know what to make of this person, other then she had a thing for Angelite. She had seen her pendant already and felt that feeling of deja vu. What was going on here? She ended up blushing when Lucie complimented her gown, only to proceed to say something mean about the sweet vendor whom she bought it from. The vendor was an elderly woman with a kind smile. It was a shame Lucie was so judgemental of her appearance. Ignoring that part, she focused on the first part.
"Thank you for the compliment. Yes I did buy it back there. You look lovely with what you're wearing."
She meant it too, the white hair lady did look angelic. It was just a darn shame her mannerisms didn't quite fit her appearance, but Dawn wasn't bound to say that.
"Well, it's nice to see you two getting along. Dawn, this is Lucie, she's in one of my classes. She normally has a bodyguard with her. Lucie, how about I pay for this statue for now, and then I'll help you find your bodyguard okay? Dawn, sweetie, you're more the welcome to join us if you want."
Seeing how crowded the area was, Dawn found herself saying, "Oh, well, it's fine. I still haven't explore the entire grounds yet. It was nice meeting you Lucie. I hope you find your bodyguard soon."
With that, she left. She soon found herself in the area of the fortune teller area. Curious, she decided to get in line. She was lucky she saved her tickets. After paying for a reading, she found herself not asking about her future, but her past. She wanted to see if it was possible to see her biological family. Of course this whole fortune telling could just be fake. She tried paying attention, but she kept getting distracted by movement behind a curtain. Finally she manage to tear her eyes away from the movement back to the fortune teller.
It seems she missed most of the reading though for the teller said, "You're the 2nd person today to have such a sad past. I wonder if you 2 are connected. I might not have all the answers for you, but I do believe there is someone here who does. This is off the book, but I recommend you trust your instincts hun."
Squeezing her hands in comfort, Dawn left the fortune teller a bit unsettled and frustrated, with herself that is.
