Collette blinked as Freddie practically pressed the pouch of herbs to her face, making the other young woman the victor of the staring contest they had been having. Even through the pouch she could smell the stench and she wondered if this was why Freddie had smelled damp. Her examination of the herbs nearly distracted her from Freddie's salesman pitch. She could never miss those wriggling eyebrows though. Collette really perked up however when she heard the words, "for free.."
"HMM, well I do have to weed out any potentially bad investments of my questionably earned cash," Collette answered with a hand on her chin and the other on her hip. "Not to say you're untrustworthy but I'm struggling for a different pun here. Gotta keep the quota up, you understand."
She let out a small laugh, "I mean, if you got a sample though, I'm up for tryyyiiiing it. Up for lighting it."
She did the double finger gun at Freddie, wondering if her horrible pun would instantly end the deal.

Thaddeaus was about to answer Adrian when he thought about it. Had he ever taken a break? He searched his memory but he could only really recall his patrols starting when he had just become a teen. Before then he had been a brooding child who often went to see others train or spent time studying. After patrols started, he had begun training himself. He went on patrols nearly every day. When did he take breaks?
"...No," Thaddeaus answered bluntly, letting the answer hang in the air for a bit. He frowned at the tone of his voice, suddenly feeling like it was too harsh, particularly since he was talking to Adrian. He added, "But perhaps I should. Perhaps on one of the days you're here, we can... Do... Something.
He frowned, unsure of what they could possibly do. Train perhaps?
"Though if you intend to go out among the beasts, perhaps you should talk to Tyann. I'm sure he will be pleased for both that and your presence around here for a few days."
