She took a sip of her water. Silvia had refilled her glass before they all came downstairs. The glass was pretty full as this was the first sip of the new water. Silvia took another slow and deep breath. She had been breathing slowly to stay calm pretty much the whole time they were downstairs. Justice was a bitch, a royal bitch. Since she told her dad she would be the bigger person and focus on killing enemies with love, she hadn’t dragged Justice outside by her hair. She turned her eyes to Meri.
“Meri, I am going to check on Reese. Can you please text me anything important I may miss? I don’t have my phone on me now as I think my dad moved it last night, so don’t feel rushed to text me right away,” she said. As Silvia walked out, she paused behind Justice for a second and poured the icy water on her head. Silvia then continued walking and climbed up the stairs, taking a few at a time. When she got to the living room, she paused as Reese was no where to be found. She wondered if she had left. Silvia opened the front door and poked her head outside. She was glad Justice didn’t make Reese leave completely. Silently she walked over to Reese and sat right next to her. She held her empty cup of water out to Reese.
“May I have some water please or the pitcher to fill my cup if you prefer?” she paused to give Reese a small smile, “My cup was full, but the water was so attracted to Justice that it got poured onto her head. I was surprised she didn't start screaming that she was melting.”
“I wonder if we could convince Lilith we don’t need Justice for this trip. She seems willing not to force everyone to go...think it would be safe to say Justice may make things worse," she added. Silvia wasn’t sure how to comfort Reese as she didn’t know her. She didn’t know this version of her at least. Silvia had memories as a child of the girl. The only issue was she didn’t visit her kingdom often. What she remembered most was the cold. As she did as a child, she preferred warmer or even hot weather. For now, she decided to talk a bit too much. She decided Reese would tell her if talking was not a good way to comfort her. Some people did just like silence.
