Sibylla pulled the lollipop out of her mouth as Justice and Freddie headed off to the bathroom together. Most of the girls were out of the room at this point and the tension within Sibylla released with a loud sigh. She rubbed her temples. It's the second day, it's only the second day.
"I'm... also going to head out," Sibylla announced to Lilith, Meridian, and Aurora. "Thanks for everything you're doing Lilith. I appreciate you waiting as well, even if..."
Sibylla paused. Even if it is costing more lives. She bit her lip and suddenly looked really drained. Her shoulder drooped and there was a look of ire on her face briefly before being replaced by a small smirk. She straightened her back and cocked a finger gun at the remaining three women.
"You're doing a fantastic job, Lilith. Meridian, I would love to catch up but I haven't thought ahead like you two so I should probably get on that. I'll see you two in a couple of weeks. Aurora, I'll probably see you sooner."
With a small wave, she headed up the stairs to collect her helmet. The events that had just transpired were already replaying themselves in her head as she tried to figure out how she could have handled things differently. Nobody even acknowledged my pun, she thought with a small pout as she grabbed the helmet. Though honestly, that was probably for the best.
Distracted, Sibylla didn't hear the sound of voices from the front porch. In fact, she didn't even realize Silvia and Reese were there until she was already stepping onto the porch, eyes wide and with a strangled yelp as she stared at the two.
"Oh! Uh, heeeey," she said awkwardly, quickly realizing she had just sort of walked into something. Her eyes were more on Silvia, not really wanting to meet Reese's gaze. "Everything, uh, everything okay here? Lilith said we could leave so, um, yeah. I was on my way out. Just thought you two should know before the other girls also barge in on... whatever you two are disCUSSing. Cuz there was a lot of cussing in there. At least I thought there was from the tone. Didn't take French unfortunately."
