Deep in the kingdom of Traumet, well below the surface was the fairy kingdom. It was unaffected by the spell above ground that kept Traumet safe. Still the fae folk were troubled by how things were above ground. No one was more trouble than the fairy queen herself, Eowyn. Representing one of the good forces of magic, there was very little she could do due to the rules her kind had to obey from higher forces. She could easily overpower Ivelda, but Ivelda herself was now a vessel of an ancient evil force and Eowyn would be breaking a long-standing agreement to never directly oppose a representative of one of the evil forces. She could work around it though. She was still waiting for the day for Lilith and princesses to return. While she wasn't able to check on Earth (it was outside her own capabilities), she knew she'd be able to feel when someone did use teleporting magic of any cause because that would cause a ripple of magic. She felt it once when Ivelda had banished Lilith and the princesses. It was like a sense of loss that those who belonged were torn from the place they belong to. She herself had tried her best to bring them right back, but she'd been blocked by the ancient magic that guarded this world. Something told her though that soon they'd be returning. When that happens, Eowyn would make sure they were assisted quickly.

Currently the queen was in her own personal quarters thinking about all of the princes. They had become shadows of their former selves. It broke her heart to see them that way. Eowyn was very much aware that the princes had 2 spells on them. She'd seen it happen indirectly through her magic. First one had been the brainwashing spell. The 2nd was the more problematic one for it kept the princes loyal to Ivelda. If Lilith and the princesses had any hope of defeating Ivelda, they were going to need the princes' help. Plus, it was wrong to keep someone under a spell like that. The brainwashing spell would be the easiest to break, but the 2nd one, not so much. However, the queen had an idea to break the spell.

"Guards! Fetch Iris for me please?" she called out.

Soon a fairy with dark purple wings appeared.

"Morning your majesty! You summoned me?" the little pixie replied.

"Indeed Iris. I have an important, but dangerous mission for you. You must be discreet and mask your magic."

"Of course, your majesty! It's something I excel at after all. How else would I be able to trick the guards at times hehe!"

Eowyn smiled at the fairy. Not all fairies were alike, but Iris was one of the fairies who could shrink to pixie size and Eowyn often used her for covert missions thanks to that ability and masking her magic. Magic often left a trail, but Iris didn't, at least for a certain length of time.

"Very well. I want you to go to Castle Lostein and find out what Ivelda is using to keep the princes under her control. Be very careful."

Iris was normally a very jovial and happy-go-lucky fae who seemed to take nothing seriously, but she was all business when she nodded and for the palace. Traumet might be sealed off, but there were ways to move about the kingdoms freely, at least for fae folk.
