Supernatural ~ anime ~ partner search! [Closed for now]

I’m looking for one roleplayer who is interested in fleshing out our characters together in a modern supernatural setting, more or less based on the Dresden Files universe, but anime style and more low-key powers wise. I am planning for the roleplay to start out private –just us two- and then expand to include more people. I don’t mind including a couple people now, though they will have to be connected to our two characters somehow. Or I may make another non-private roleplay as a sequel to this one, to keep it simple.

My character will be an 17-22 year old (depending upon my RP partner's preference) Russian yokai who moved to Chicago several years ago. He is vain and arrogant and tends to chase after slayer women. He has a lot of flaws and is not really hero material. His faceclaim is Yuu Kanda.

I'm looking for someone to play the following role:

--A human girl in the 17-22 age range. If you want to go younger, that is probably fine, though I may lower his age as well so it doesn't seem weird.
--She needs to be tough and not easily frightened or intimidated by supernaturals.
--She should be a slayer or a detective or something similar, whatever would cause her to protect humans and fight supernaturals who cause trouble.
--She can have supernatural abilities or not have them, up to you.

I like the idea of the two teaming up to work together on a case that involves both of them, and also like the idea of romance in the future. I don't want to plan anything relationship wise, but see where their personalities take them. They could dislike each other for a while, especially if she doesn't agree with his personality or loose morals. She would have to be the moral compass, because he is morally ambiguous.

Okay, I found someone to take the role I was requesting. Those of you who showed an interest in this RP, check back later, because it's going to be public after awhile, and I will be looking for around four people to join us, maybe more depending on who signs up and what they plan to do.
