The city is destroying itself. Citizens are dying every minute, one after the other. The military has abandoned the people in an attempt to find the center of the problem. Survivors now have to fight for their life as they attempt to leave the city. And the creatures in their way are the living undead that roam the streets. Along with them are the people driven psychotic by the sudden change in life. No one knows where they came from, but at the moment, no one cares. All they care for is to survive the next day.

Welcome to Walking Undead, a zombie-survival roleplay that takes place in an unnamed city. There has been a severe outbreak in the city of a bloodborn disease, causing those who have contracted it to die, and their bodies to reannimate as an undead. These are the traditional zombies which means:

1) They don't run, the shuffle toward you
2) They can only be killed by severing the head or destroying the brain
3) These zombies are attracted to sound, so gunshots attract large crowds
4) They feel no pain, so if you miss the head, they aren't going to recoil because of pain. They will just continue to shamble toward you
5) Burning zombies kills them eventually, but it takes quite some time, so it is not recommended

This takes place right after the original outbreak. So by this time you are either still looking for shealter, or are holding up in a shelter. The majority of the cities population are zombies at this point, so they fill most of the streets and stores.

Rules:
No godmodding
Romance is allowed, but anything excessive to PMs, plus, it'd be a bit odd too.
You may swear, but not every other sentence.
Two character limit. TWO!

Hour 1- Pain and discoloration of the infected area. Immediate clotting of the wound.

Hour 5- Fever between 99 °F. and 103 °F. Chills, slight dementia, vomiting, and acute pain in the joints.

Hour 8- Numbing of extremities and infected area, increased fever from 103 °F to 106 °F. Increased dementia and loss of muscular coordination.

Hour 11- Paralysis in the lower body, overall numbness, and slowed heart rate.

Hour 16- Coma.

Hour 20- Cardiac arrest and cessation of brain activity.

Hour 23- Reanimation.

Name: Gene Andrews
Age: 20
Occupation: Music store manager
Appearance: Gene has messy, black hair that falls down to your mouth. He has pale skin, is skinny, and has ice blue eyes. He wears a long sleeve, black shirt under a sleeveless gray hoodie, also faded blue jeans on black, flat-bottomed shoes.
Biography: Gene is an average person who went to school, graduated, and started working a music store to help get into college. An average day of work turned disaterous as the city was thrown into chaos by the outbreak. He is currently hiding in the music store he worked in.

Apperance: Darius has straight medium length black hair coming down to the middle of his neck, and he has Hazel Green eyes. He wears a shortsleeved black cloth T-shirt,black cotton zip up jacket, navy blue denim jeans and checkered slip on shoes.

Biography: Darius was a little bit above average student in school and always maintained an A B average, he had just graduated and was working in BestBuy to pay rent for his apartment and to get into college when the outbreak hit, he felt remorse for what had happened to the people but he eventually accepted the fact that they were no longer human..only shells of people. He is currently hiding in the storage room at the local BestBuy he was working in.

Occupation:Part time waitress and Bar tender
Appearance: Ama has green eyes and origionaly her hair was blond however it is currently layered, the bottom layer is black, the middle hot pink and the top is lilac. She is slim with decent curves and very pale skin. She wears a pair of black skinny jeans with a short,red tatartan patterned skirt over them and a black motley crue shirt.
Biography: Ama lives on her own in a small apartment building, having spent most of her life with her young daughter who died two years ago in a car accident. Having not finished high school the only job she could get was waitressing. She was outside when the zombie outbreak happened and is currently hiding in the club where she bar tends.

Appearance (No pictures): Jack is a large man, while only standing at 5'11", he weighs 220 pounds of muscular toughness. His face is hardened and he rarely breaks a smile. Jack's hair is buzz cut and light brown, with two bright green eyes. He wears a standard police uniform with black slacks and steel-toed tan hiking boots.

Biography: Jack started off as an average kid, but after a short time, he started to show an unnatural...blood lust. In order to avoid him hurting anybody, he was sent to therapy, where he made a very complicated plan to get his therapist arrested. It failed miserably, but he was sent to prison for attempted murder after he discovered Jack's plan. Jack started to sneak off with his friends to a wooded area not too far from town to shoot at targets filled with fake blood. After a short time, he started to become an expert with weapons, and decided that he would become a police officer so he could help the world and shoot things at the same time. Instead, he got a desk job. When the infection broke out, the other officers were sent out to kill the infected, but most were quickly devoured. After being holed up for who knows how long in the station, Jack got his gun and found his captain half-eaten with a zombie's corpse next to him. He told him that he was right, it was a bad idea giving him a desk job. Jack shot his captain in the head and told him, "Yeah, it was."

Appearance (No pictures): Marie only reaches 5'5" and weighs about 130lbs. She's slender and well muscled, with short brown hair and blue eyes. She smiles a lot, but mainly to hide how she's really feeling. She has a scar on her left cheek from a fist fight when she was in high school. She wears a tight black t-shirt with a round neckline, a black skirt, black combat boots, and dark gray leggings that reach her mid-thigh. She has a double holster on her hip, as well as an ammo belt.
Biography: Marie was always an outcast growing up, but she didn't care. As long as she had her closest friend she was fine. She has always had commitment issues, which is why she's always been single. Her father, a Vietnam war veteran, abused her until he was found out, tried, and sentanced to prison. That gave Marie a high pain tolerance, but it also closed her up. She wears a smile on her face to hide how she really feels. She's not afraid to do what's right, even if it means shooting a friend or someone's loved one in the head, though she has issues when it comes to killing kids that have been infected.

Appearance:Amy is a rather short person,standing at 5"2. She has short brown hair,that stops midway down the neck. She is French-American,so has naturually lighter skin. She has an average build,not petite. She has chocolate brown eyes. She has on a green hoodie,that covers half of her green skirt,which is over green and white striped leggings,and has green sneakers on.
Biography: Amy grew up in a broken family. Before she was born,her father was a drunk who beat her mother. After she was born,he stopped,though when she was 14,he started again,but worse. She watched him kill her,and then had to live with him,covering up black eyes,and such. She turned him in when she was 18. When she was 18,she met Alex at a Guns 'N Roses concert,and they started hanging out. Soon they formed their band,and she was deemed the singer. They were in the middle of the rehersal when everything started. She has two handguns from when they took shelter in the gun sho,but the owners where killed,along with her friends and bandmates(I mean her bandmates where killed but they were her friends) Now they are hiding out in a samll house they found. She has some feelings for Alex.

Biography: Alex was raised by his terminally ill,father,but later moved in with his aunt. His mother was a junkie,and died when someone shot her out on the streets. His father is still fighting liver cancer,and has been fighting for five years. He died a day before the zombie attack,leaving Alex(At first)Distruaght. He met Amy at a Guns 'N Roses concert,and made their band,with him beingthe drummer. He kept his drummer's sticks,and also got a gun from the shop,they were at that killed their bandmates. They are now hiding out in a small house they found. He has some feelings for Amy.

Biography: Just out of school and taking a year out before trying to look for a job. He is living with his parents and is trying out all sorts of things like swodfighting, horse riding, gun shooting, car racing, skydiving. On the day he was returning home from training to run in a marathon for charity dressed in a fully functioning full plate medieval knight's amour and sharpened longsword, due to his Surname being Knight. When the outbreak occured he was in a weapon's store(selling swords, axes, spears, daggers, bow, crossbows, arrows, bolts etc) across the street from a music store with a secure door and barred windows. After the commotion outside the shop keeper quickly locked the door in order to keep the zombies out. Then the shop keeper died of a heart attack.

Appearance: He is wearing a black shirt and black jeans with blood stains on them. He has shaved his head, and there is a scar on the corner of his mouth, giving the appearance of a permanent frown.
Biography: When the undead were breaking down the doors to the store, and the people around him were panicing and running around senslessly, he calmly took one of the hunting rifles sold in the store, and proceded to dispatch them. He has lived a life knowing that the dream most peole seemed to be living would not last, knowing that the truth that other's wanted so badly would turn out to be worse than the lies.

The front of her hair goes down to below her jaw and the back of her hair is buzzed short enough that it can be spiked. She wears two dog tags that were her brothers. They died in battle and she carries them as a memory and to her they symbolize to fight and survive to carry on the family name. She wears a white long sleeve top that is really low and her shoulders can be seen. The sleeves go down to her knuckles and she has a black tang top under the shirt. She has dark gray jeans and they ride low on her hips and go down to below her ankles. Her socks are black and her shoes are white slip on shoes with a black swallow on it. She also wears a Stylish Black Pinstripe Scene Emo Trilby hat that has a gray skull with crossbones on the side. The inside of the hat is black with gory red skulls. She wears a spiked dog collar bracelet on her right wrist and she also wears a cute collar necklace with a bell charm the chain is actually ribbon and is black while the bell is ice blue. She has had her upper ear pierced twice and she has a cross on one earing and the other has a star on her other ear she has a black and blue circular bar bell .

Biography:
She had a dad who was a police officer, her mother was a bodybuilder, and her brothers were in the army. She learned many moves and attacks from her family and is very strong even though she does not look like it. Her brothers went to war soon after they inlisted and then died two years later. She still remembers the day when the army officers knocked on the door and she knew that they were dead. She recived their dog tags and wears them to this very day. Her father died when the infection started and her mother also got infected by her father. She took her fathers gun and then killed her parents and ran to hot topic.

When this infection hit, it took her best friend with it, and Ellen was forced to grab the nearest weapon-like object and slay her best friend.
