Swine Flu Epidemic: New Zombies

The 2009 flu pandemic is a global outbreak of a new strain of influenza virus, officially named the "new H1N1", first identified in April 2009, and commonly called "Swine flu."

It is thought to be a mutation of four known strains of the influenza A virus, subtype H1N1: one endemic in (normally infecting) humans, one endemic in birds, and two endemic in pigs (swine). Experts assume the virus "most likely" emerged from pigs in Asia, and was carried to North America by infected persons.[76] There is also evidence that the new strain had been circulating among pigs on other continents for years before infecting humans. But transmission is human to human, with cooked pork products safe to eat as the virus cannot be transmitted by eating foods.

January 2010 H1N1 became progressively worse and soon it infected cows killing 3/4 of all America's livestock. People also began to get infected many of them died their immune systems not being able to handle the virus.

April 21, 2010 a person with AIDS got infected with swine flu causing the bacteria to mutate and change killing all of its animal hosts at a much faster rate essentially using up their life.

May 2010 people infected with swine flu began to...change. They were over come with cravings for bloody meat that was warm more….fresh. Soon their skin turned a dull grey color and they started to feed on animals through out the cities but still kept their 'minds' so to speak.

August 4, 2010 Swine Flu caused all of the infected to loose all of their thought capability. They knew only one thing, the need to feed. With a heat sense like vision now impaled in their brain they started attacked each other killing people left and right but the people didn't stay dead. They were soon just like the others infected and feeding on innocent people.

September 10, 2010 The new Swine Flu has reached across the shores of America infecting other major cities such as Paris, London, Bangladesh, and Tokyo. Some people are immune to and as are wild animals who have stronger immune systems than others.

October 2010 some people have survived and now a few of them are heading towards Alaska where it is said Swine Flu doesn't exist because it couldn't survive the cold. Their first choice was Antarctica but crossing the ocean was almost impossible.




Three siblings have mapped out their way to Alaska and they have decided to give humanity a chance. Holing themselves up in an underground radio station in the desert of Nevada where you can see anything coming for miles they sent out a radio message giving their latitude and longitude coordinates. Anyone who has survived the infection is free to join them. They will be at their location for only a week before they set out for Alaska where it is said the flu doesn't reside. Knowing that the 'zombies' won't be able to understand their words the three will wait there for a week in case anyone does show up. They will gladly take them along with them for if the world were ending would you want to be with your family forever? The three of them are unsure they will meet anyone though but they are true to their word and wait for a week. To their surprise and delight people show up and they are prepared for the war that will happen while on their journey to Alaska.

The road is tough and they will have to make stops to sleep, gas up and other things like that. The problem is that these zombies can run jump and thy have their altered heat vision that can detect a human presence for over 100 yards away. Sort of like an amplified rattlesnake. They can run up to 30 miles per hour and don't need gas like cars do. The siblings are sure there is a trail of zombies on them. They just need to get far enough away before their next stop so the zombies can't catch up to them. They are around 70 miles ahead and that is the way they like to keep it. With the new people joined up they will head towards Alaska but it will be a long journey that will take awhile.







Alright so this is a sort of post apocalyptic rp about zombies. I will need three people to play the siblings which is two males and one female. Who ever joins first as the sibling chooses the last name basically. I'll need other people to play others also.

Also a note you'll need weapons of course but no machine guns and such please.

Name - Nova Adamantis

Personality - Nova is a bright and optimistic girl who has a fierce loyalty to those people around her. She has no more friends because they were all eaten and turned to zombies some of which she killed. She is brave and a bit of a goon but she likes it that away.
Bio - When Nova was 16 her mother passed away and her father who was in the army took her through all kinds of crazy training camps to keep her out of his hair. When the zombie mass broke out Nova was in her house watching the news when a zombie burst into her house. It was her father. Nova had no choice but to kill him or she would have died herself. She doesn't like to talk about it now.
Looks -
Apparel - She has two thigh holsters one of each thigh. She wears a strapless bra and dark blue shirt that fits her rather tightly sort of like a corset but it allows for free movement. She also wears a pair of cut off jean shorts that are rather short allowing for free movement. Black knee high combat boots and a black trench coat that ends up below her knees.
Weapons - she carries two 9 mm on each thigh along with two extra clips for them on thigh holster a combat shotgun on her back with stashed shells in her black leather trench coat. She keeps a tech bow in her car most of the time with a quiver of 100 arrows for she already used half of them.

Extra - She has a wolf companion that she took care of as a pup three years ago and trained well. His name is Demon.

I'll join for the hell of it, just don't be too disappointed if I can't drag more then a paragraph out of me

Name - Chase Maverick
Age - 20
Gender - Male
Personality - Sarcastic, likes to make jokes, a good friend once you get to know him, he won't leave a fellow survivor behind, kind, a bit of a loner occasionally.
Bio - Both his father and mother were in the military, so he got moved around a lot as a kid, even ended up in basic at sixteen. He didn't really like it so he got out as soon as he could, he is still in the "Army Reserve" even though he is pretty sure there isn't any army left. After he got out of the military, his dad had already retired and bought a gun store. Chase decided to work there for while, he happened to be there when the "zombies" came, he was in the back playing Resident Evil 0, go figure, why does the zombie outbreak happen when your in the middle of trying to kill one of the hardest bosses in a game, let alone a Resident Evil game! He went out into the front of the store when a zombie burst in through the backdoor, grabbing the loaded shotgun his dad kept under the counter he aimed, unsure of what was happening he told the man- zombie - to stay back or he would shoot....it didn't listen, of course, so Chase shot its head off. He lowered the shotgun and rubbed his shoulder, that 10 gauge hurt like a bastard, it was more of a "shoot from the hip" type of shotgun...especially considering his dad cut the barrel down to about 12". Chase loaded another shell to replace the one he had, and turned the mini TV on checking the news, sure enough, zombies...he grabbed his old MK23 and loaded it, grabbing a few spare magazines and a box of .45 ACP rounds putting the box in his old military pack. Slipping a belt on he attaches the holster and holsters his MK23 and grabs a box of shotgun shells, placing them in his bag too. He raids the upstairs cupboards and stuffs his bag with some food before remembering there was a civilian model AK-101 downstairs, it was one of his favorite guns, and he wasn't about to abandon it. Heading back downstairs he grabs that and a ACOG aim-point scope, attaching it and grabbing a box of 5.56x45mm NATO rounds, placing that in his bag. He heads outside and notices the only vehicle in sight is a motorcycle, with no keys...he sighs and starts to try and hot-wire it, he gets it running and starts to ride off, anywhere but in the middle of a big city is where he wanted to be.
Looks - He has fairly long brown hair (about shoulder level) that he recently added some blond highlights to, blueish green eyes, skin is a bit pale due to being inside most of the time.
Apparel - A green windbreaker, a black Papa Roach T-shirt under that, and a pair of tan cargo pants with combat boots, a slightly camouflaged military backpack, with a shotgun holstered/slung into a makeshift holster made from PVC pipe, and a AK-101 slung and hanging in front of him.
Weapons - An AK-101, a MK23, and a 10 gauge shotgun.

Extra - Has a wolf plushy in a side pouch on his backpack.

Name - Angelus Valentine
Age - 21
Gender - Female
Personality - Despite her appearance, Angelus is a head strong type of girl. She is not one to be the damsel in distress and is a fighter to the end. Somewhat of a tomboy, she will get down and dirty if she needs to and is not afraid to tell someone off. Easy-going may not be the best word to describe her since she is more of an outgoing type of person who likes to enjoy her life. Although there are times when she has been known to become extremely laid-back and lazy. Not one to back down, she is very competitive and will never turn down a challenge. She loves the thrill of fights, whether they be verbal or physical, she enjoys the challenge and rather welcomes it. She gives off a calm demeanor during important matters and is normally the most calm during stressful situations. She is a quick thinker and can get herself out of tight situations. She is silent and very shy around new commers, not really the type to become openly friendly towards a person she does not know, however; it does not take her very long to quickly warm up to a person and welcome them into her small group of friends.

Although she is hot-headed at times, is very caring towards her family and friends. She would do almost anything for them and go out on a whim to help them. She feels like she has to protect them sometimes and can become a bit over-bearing, although it isn't purposefully, she just tends to get carried away with the protector role. She likes to help people out, depending on what they need help for. A bit of an eavesdropper, Angelus likes to listen on people's conversations, never interrupting them of course, and sometimes find what people talk about amusing. She isn't much of a girly person, having grown up with older brothers. She loves to play with people's minds and will occasionally say something off line, confusing people in the process. Somewhat of an enigma, she doesn't like to let people fully into her life and will normally talk about something completely different.
Bio - Angelus was not like your ordinary girl. She took a strong interest in mixed martial arts when she was seven years old. She loved to read books and was constantly wallowing herself in them. She did not make time for party's or the bar life, and instead opted for a more relaxed one. She enjoyed going to the gun range with her father when she was seventeen years old and was almost an excellent marksman but still lacked in accuracy. With practice and time, she would become better. When she graduated from high school, Angelus moved on to a police academy and had almost made the cut but couldn't due to family issues. Now, Angelus has recently moved back in with her parents and brothers.

yeah, I forgot to put almost in it. My fingers cannot keep up with my mind sometimes and thus created the slight error. The word was supposed to be in there to correct the mistake of her being a marksman. But it is fixed now and thanks for pointing that out Claude though.

Heh, no problem, I'm pretty good when it comes to terminology used for firearms and stuff like that, I know some military terminology as well...

Also, I'm guessing both of our characters are approved?

Name - Sydney Lugosi, called Syn by her friends and family.
Age - 23
Gender - Female.
Personality - Syn is a downright bitch. Enough said.
Bio - Syn has been bad luck since she was born, and it never changed. She was orphaned at age four, when her addicted mother was caught by her father paying for her vices in... other ways. Syn's father walked into the bedroom, saw the fiasco, grabbed a gun from the hallway closet, and proceeded to shoot the dealer and her mother. Having realized his actions, he went back into the living room, kissed the tiny girl on the head, and turned the gun on himself. Barely even being able to use a phone, Syn picked up the receiver, covered in blood, and called 911. She was sent to live with her grandmother, a sweet old woman who became her Salvation. She became the mother that Syn had never had, until the age 14, her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and began to degrade. Syn was then forced to care for her, and dropped out of school to make it a full-time job. Once 16, she began to rebel and grow tired of being the caretaker and began to sneak out of her grandmothers, where she began to fall in with the "wrong crowd". One night, at age 17, while Syn was out partying with her friends, her grandmother got out of bed to get a glass of water, slipped, fell, and hit her head on the kitchen counter, bleeding out to death. Syn came home several hours later, to find her grandmother dead and surrounded by broken glass. Once again she had to make that same fateful call, covered in the blood of a loved one.
After the ordeal, Syn was sent to live in a halfway house to finish her schooling and cure her habits, also where she met Daniel. Daniel's parents had died a year previous in a car accident, and with no living relatives, he was sent there to live out the rest of his adolescence. He and Syn quickly found safe harbors in each other, and that safety eventually turned to love. Daniel turned 18 two months before Syn, and moved out of the home before she could, and found a job and an apartment for them in the city. Syn left the day she turned of age to live with her love. They spent their days sleeping in, smoking hash, and making music together. Almost four years went by peacefully until the outbreak of H1N1, when Daniel was caught up in a riot for medical supplies and has not been seen since. No news of his death or life has come into Syn's hands for months, but she knows he's still out there, and only hopes that he is waiting for her in Alaska.

Weapons -Two Browning Citoris, strapped to her back. A dagger attached to her thigh with a ratty bandanna. And a truck full of ammo.
Car - A black 2008 Mercedes Benz G 500. Obviously stolen once the outbreak hit.
Extra - She has two tattoos, one that says Anna Maria, her grandmother's name, on her right bicep, and a spiderweb on her left elbow, Daniel's name scribed into it, barely visible.

Name: Neondrick "Neon" McKinley
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Personality: Neon is not exactly the brightest bulb in the box. He is usually clumsy and unattentive about things and lets his imagination run amok most of the time. He has the attention span of a fly with ADHD but does not like seeing other people cry and tries to help out whenever his personality gets in the way.
Bio: Calling Neon's history "Characteristically Challenged" would be an under-statement. It all started just when Neon was 8 months old, his father brutally murdered his mother and wounded up in jail for life. When Neon was 5 years old his grandmother who he now lived with told him the truth about his real parents. Coincidentally, this was also around the time when Neon's hair changed color from black to green. When Neon was out one day on a tree he slipped and fell out and landed on his head causing all of is hair to fall out, and also drastically decreased his IQ. When his hair grew back it turned out that the Chloroplast in the grass he landed on mixed with the melanin in his hair giving it a permanent dark greenish color. As time progressed Neon would suffer from hits on the head from walking into walls and poles to accidental things like a ball landing on him. When Neon entered middle school he was immediately claimed a loser with the color of his hair and his goggle style he got from watching a lot of anime. One day a group of bullies was beating him up and one punched him so hard he lost one of his front teeth. The tooth flew back and hit his 2 molar teeth in the back chipping them, over time it seems that the nerves have been so damaged that they are dead so he can no longer feel pain from them anymore. Speaking of pain, his grandparents also gave Neon much headache pills since they weren't too bright either to begin with. With severe head trauma he began to have an obsession over zombies, he watched the movies and played the games and even dressed up as one from time to time whenever he felt like it. Despite his hard past Neon actually came from a rich family from his uncle owning a top music company which has given Neon a very good talent at singing almost any genre, although his uncle is never around to spend time with him and usually just gives Neon tons of money to leave him alone, in fact that’s what led Neon to get his first gun when he was just 15, a pitch black riot shotgun. After completing middle school (BARELY!) and moved onto high school his grandparents were stricken with a severe kind of cancer killing them. After high school Neon found out getting into college wasn't going to happen any time soon for him and went to work at his uncles music company even though he didn't care about him. This was about the time that the zombies began to invade when he found out his uncles co-worker had turned into one. Now everyone Neon know is dead and he is just trying to survive.
Looks: Neon has Dark Green hair that goes over his forehead almost to his eyes. His eyes are a hazel color with a green outer ring to pupil. He is skinny and has light brown tanned skin. He is missing a front tooth and has 2 chipped molars in the back
Apparel: He has a long sleeve white shirt with a black short sleeve shirt over it that says "FLESH EATERS" in a bloody font. He has denim distressed jeans and torn nikes. He wears black fingerless gloves and these blue goggles around his neck.
