This sounds amazing. But have one tiny complaint about dual wielding. They can't block. But having two weapons like that would be very, very good for blocking. They could cross the weapons, catch the other weapon in between theirs, and with a flick of their wrist disarm the other person. Among other things.

But that's just me getting technical and my martial arts experience coming out. I am still going to use it as duel wielding is my favorite combat type in anything.
