The mentalist

A team of the Californian Bureau of Investigation (CBI) may officially be lead by haughty agent Lisbon. However, her mediocre intelligence and methods by the book are no match for 'mentalist' Patrick Jane. Formally, the ex-medium-hustler is just a police consultant. In fact the detectives soon learn to look to him forever brilliant and surprising observations, deductions, ploys and traps. No criminal ever outsmarts Jane - except perhaps Red John, who unwillingly motivated Patrick to start fighting crime

He had earned a living as a psychic, but after series antagonist Red John murders his wife and daughter in retaliation for Jane's mocking, Jane admits he was a fraud and now works as a police consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation. Though a bit eccentric, he is very perceptive and much of what he finds helps solve the cases they are investigating. He is brilliant and very in-tune to what is around him, but is often cocky, playful, and annoyingly right, all characteristics that earn him friendship in each of his colleagues. However, he has shown a much more sinister side concerning Red John, a serial killer who murdered his family. When dealing with him, Jane becomes intense, focused, and willing to sacrifice anything, including his life, to catch him.

Appearance:

Though Patrick often annoys her with his unusual behavior and going behind her back, she views him as an invaluable member of the team and will back him up on some of his most unusual theories. Her mother was killed in a drunk driving accident, leaving her to take care of her brothers and her alcoholic father. She is also the only member of the team he trusts with details of his past and they work well together, despite his attitude often causing her problems with local law enforcement. Her team was responsible for the Red John case until Agent Sam Bosco became director of the new Serial Crimes Unit, which took over the responsibility for catching Red John.

Personality: nearly always upbeat and has a good bedside manner to her patients, very maternal specially to her collegues
Bio: her mother is originally from arabia and her Father is american like herself. she has a real good artistic flare but decided she would prefer to become a doctor only to change to become a ME. she has known Jane scince they were kids in the same neighbourhood and they were close friends. they briefly dated in high school. they parted to pesue there careers not seeing each other again for some time. two years before the series starts her husband is brutally killed, leaving her and her daughter. The CBI are called out to investigate this is where they meet up again and Jane does what he can to bring the murderer to justice, shortly after the murderer is caught the team find out that she is their new Medical Examiner. She know what happened to Janes family and is always willing to help him anyway she can as a friend though she is not sure weather she likes the idea of him killing Red John.
she gets on with the whole team though she does occasionally get really annoyed when both martin and Jane play about, thogh she loves both of them as family

* Teresa Lisbon was sat in her office behind her desk finishing the paper work for the case they had just wrapped up. not only that she was filling out a report on why Jane had managed to get himself at gun point again, she sighed and looked out over the bullpen to see her team at their own desks typing up their own reports and chatting amongst themselves. Jane she could see lying on his couch,he appeared to be asleep weather he was or not was somthing diffrent, a small smile slipped onto her face it was nice to have some quietness in the place and a few hours with Jane not annoying her, the paperwork might be boring but a day of peace was worth it. looking back down at the paperwork infront of her the smile dissapeared and she continued to write out what had happned it had been a close call this time.*

*Amirah sat by the one pathology lab table to write up the report on her latest patient, it wasnt to hard on how the guy had died, 35 heathy male had been shot directly between the eyes poor guy had left his children alone in the world. putting down her pen she put the crisp sheet into a folder to be sent upstairs. she looked about the morgue and woundered where her assistant was, it was way to quiet in the the place, he was up to somthing or had already left, getting up from the hard chair she picked up the brown folder deciding she would deliver it to Minelli herself and take a few momments to see her friend while she was up there. reaching the door to the morgue she opned it and began her walk towards the stairs*
