This RP is set present day in a dragon club. All it’s members have known each other since childhood and all of them are obsessed with dragons. One day they find an old book with a curled black dragon on the cover, in the club house. As they start to read, they are, sucked into the book. They land in a clearing, with a clutch of eggs next to them. One for each of them.
Welcome to Vatharia. At the moment Vatharia is ruled by someone most people deem evil. Over years Vatharia has been split up several times, the rebels, the Dracion, the Outcast, and the normal human civilians. For some unexplainable reason the king had long outlived his time. Some claim magic, others that he is not human. Over years the king became even more power hungry, determined to destroy the two things intelligent and strong enough to defeat him. Dragons and Griffins. Those under his reign finally realized he wasn’t going to die soon, and started a rebellion. Understanding that there was a closer threat, the king created Dracion. Or a more accurate description would be, recruited. Male and female twin Dracions escaped, and took lead of the rebellion. The rebels soon realized exactly what a Dracion was, and fled into the mountains to grow in size. Things are at a standstill now and a strange group has arrived. The club. Long ago, an Outcast, name Helena wrote a book. It would go to another world and create a portal for someone to enter there world. It is Vatharia’s only hope. For each of the chosen, is an egg. Each egg calls to it’s owner. There are dragon and griffin eggs. What color? Dragon or Griffin?

Dracion:
Dracions were once humans, who made the commitment to follow their evil king. In return for their support, each human, now Dracion, was given a special power and the kings mark tattooed on their hand. A black dragon claw within the outline of a crown.
The Outcast:
That’s what they are. The Outcast are the strange ones, the ones that have no explanation why they were born like they were. Hybrids, elf like creatures with human parents, children with a strange taste for blood… those that change into something else at night, ect.
Rebels:
A bit self-explanatory, the rebels are the… Rebellion. Led by the twin escaped Dracions. The former leader, angry at being overthrown by the ones he wished to destroy, now is trapped under one of the minor mountains, practicing magic and plotting.
Places:
Minor Mountains:
The Minor Mountains are the main mountains in the land of Vatharia, about the size of normal mountains only a bit smaller. Hidden deep within the Minor Mountains is the rebel city. Flowing through the mountains, is a river the source of all the rivers in Vatharia. River of Zircon.
WildWood:
Probably the only forest in all of Vatharia, it circles the side of the Minor Mountains facing toward the ocean and the main cities and towns. A beautiful place, but can be riddled with traps because of the rebel. During though snow, it’s said you can fall under it’s enchantment and no matter what season, it will always looks like it’s snowing and you never leave. In a clearing in the middle is where the Door lets those from another world in.
Shadows Bog:
The Bog of Shadows. The most deadly place. The Shadows Bog’s story starts when Vatharia was in a similar crisis as it is now. Another Outcast, Thor, was gifted in the same way as Helena and created the first Door. Instead of our world, the one that entered was from a world of mages and powerful magic. No one knows how he got in, for he was not the chosen. Balancing on the edge of neutral, he was won over by the current princess, determined to seize the thrown. Attempting to make an army, he stole the shadow of the castle Dkoth, and created an army of shadows. The shadows cast an unnatural and deadly cold wherever they go, taking shapes of shadow animals. Then, the shadows killed the princess. Fearing for his life, the mage cast a spell on them, trapping them in a bog with a barrier. Once he went to see if the shadows had been destroyed… And never came out. Those who go in get lost and never come out, or lose all memory.
Land of the Outcasts:
A large territory, to the east of the ocean, the went of Shadows Bog, north of the Minor Mountains, WildWood, and human cities. Between the humans and the Dragon Mountains, one of the only other forest.
Dragon Mountains:
Huge mountains… triple the size of the Minor Mountains, this is the land of dragons. Almost no one ventures there, though the king and his Dracion are becoming bolder in their attempts to destroy the race of dragons.
Sentasaurion Isle (land of Griffins):
In the middle of the ocean, is the isle of griffins. Griffins have been around longer then dragons, as has the isle than Vatharia. The ancient kingdom of griffins, Rion, was named after the first from another world. Not the one who created shadows, the very first that came through a snow flake, from our world. The isle is divided between two realms, the snow realm of Unr, and the spring realm of Ri. The griffins of Unr are snow white and can control ice. The griffins of Ri are normal brown, while control wood. Based more on Lore and books then the fierce dragons, griffins pride them selves on the underground library completely covering all of the isle. I should say did, because soon after the mage disappeared in the Shadows Bog, the isle collapsed on the library, where now the griffins roam in the ruins of the stone library.
Human cities and towns:
Tivio: On the very north of the human territory. (Small)
Lon: The twin city of Tivio is just south-east of Tivio, on the border of the human territory. (Small/Medium)
Brael: The very middle, far south of the twin cities. (Large/medium)
Rion/ renamed Kharr: Once the capitol city, Kharr is a sea port, half of the city on platforms on the water. Sunny and bright, but filled with thieves and rouges. A 19 feet high bronze statue of a griffin that the king was unable to remove because he fears of everyone in all of Vatharia rebelling. (Large)
Holdien: Holdien is a village down south-east, very (small)
Dakin: Dakin is the present capitol of Vatharia, in the very center of the human territory. Cold and dark, rebels call it the ‘Shadow city’. As in the live shadows… (Large)
Castle Dkoth:
The castle without a shadow. It’s shadow now is spread throughout Shadows Bog. Built by the evil princess, (Mentioned in Shadows Bog) Castle Dkoth is now the main HQ of Dracion. Jutting out on a cliff face over the sea, Dracion Castle is on the end of a peninsula. Black stone, styled like spikes.
