The Sacrament
You are walking down the streets of London out of boredom, something to brake the repetition of your life. The chime of Big Ben brakes you out of your daydream. The sun is sinking beneath the harbor setting the sky ablaze with reds and yellows. The streets aren't the safest place at night as of late form the random killings every night so you decide to take a short cut through the park. As you walk through the darkness you quickly regret your decision to take the short cut. The shadows around you seem to be alive, there is a dark sense of foreboding, every noise makes you jump. The exit is just up head, your feet start to move faster and before you know it you are in a full sprint for the exit, safety but safety from what? Just as your foot is about to cross the threshold to safety a figure appeared in front of you. The figure that appeared seems to be a man in an overcoat. the mysterious man stares at you for a moment with a warm but seemingly fake smile before speaking. "You have been chosen my friend." The man says keeping the same fake smile throughout the sentence. Who is this guy? Is he some kind of religious nut? You think to yourself trying to make your feet move but to no success.
It feels as if some force is holding you there as your eyes wander back up to the man in question. "You cannot leave yet, I have not given you your gift yet." The man smiles up at you, his smile getting warmer and larger. He then reached into his coat making you flinch expecting a gun. The man laughed as he pulled out two books, one white with gold trimmings, the other black with ruby inlay. You stare at the books bewildered for a moment before the man let out a small chuckle. "This is your destiny I hold in my hands." You look down at the books once more feeling a strange pull to one of them. Your body seems to act on its own as your hand reaches out and grasps the book. "So that is your choice? i have played my part, the rest is up to you." The man chuckles out as he puts the other book back into his coat. You stare down at the book in your hand, the questions racing through your mind. Your eyes wander back up towards the man only to see air.
You look up at Big Ben and see an hour has passed, it has gotten late. You rush home forgetting about the book in your hand until you get inside. You stare down at the book for a moment before laying it down on the table and going about your daily retain. No matter how much you try to ignore the book you find yourself being drawn back to it. Finally you crack the book open seeing a strange symbol just inside the cover. Your curiosity is peeked at this point as you read through the book. The book is seemingly about some made up war between angel and demons, you laugh at the very thought of something so ridiculous. As you come to the last page there are directions.
Before you know it you have drawn out a symbol on the floor. You place candles at the corners of the symbols, lighting them as they are placed. You look down at the book one final time reading the next part several times in your head. You must spill your blood into the appointed section of the sacred sacrament. Knife in hand a bead of sweat runs down your face as your grip on the knife tightens. This is crazy. You think to yourself before sliding the knife across your wrist. You watch as your crimson life's liquid runs down into the center of the circle, slowly filling it. Just as the center fills there is a flash of light, knocking you onto your back. Your gaze rises up to see someone with their hand outstretched to help you up. "I shall become your sword and your shield, my lord." The person says to you with a genuinely warm smile.
Story Overview.
The Character has used a book from a mysterious man to summon an angel or demon, in the process binding them self to contract with said demon or angel. The angels and demons do not use spells but instead transform into weapons for the human partner to use against the enemy. angels vs demons. You can play the RP one of two ways. With a partner controlling your characters partner, or controlling both the human and partner yourself. This is a rather free role play, meaning that you will make your own adventures through out the role play. We will not be doing a strict stick to the story or else kind of attitude.
Rules
This RP is rated +18 For but is not limited to: Blood and Gore, Strong Language, Some minor Sexual Themes.
Post limit of 400 words. No one liners a.k.a. very short posts. One liners as in jokes are welcomed.
No God modding. It isn't fun or fair to kill off someone else's character without their knowing.
This is a Mature RP so Blood and swearing is welcomed.
Please post once every few days, unless you tell us otherwise. However I understand if you need to leave for a bit.
Keep arguments out of the OOC no one wants to see confrontation just before posting. If there are any problems please PM me and I will try to the best of my abilities to resolve them.
