Personality: [ Jian is a strong man, believing himself to be as resilient as the earth he commands. He is stern where he needs to be, strict when he needs to be, but not so much that people consider him a tyrant. In fact, he is beloved by his subjects and always has their interests at heart. He is extremely devoted to his people and tries everything in his power to remain fair and just. He is especially strict with his daughters though, specifically his eldest due to her heritage and her inheritance. Some people often mistake it as a father's desire to protect his daughter, however; Jian isn't that time of sentimental person. What he looks for is someone who can protect his daughter because he will not always be able to do so. He has already found suitors for his youngest daughters, but has yet to find one for his eldest. Regardless, Jian is the type of person who earns respect and gives it without a second thought. He is as fierce and cunning as a tiger, and as loyal and dedicated as they come. ]
Information: [ Jian is currently the residing King of Ba Sing Se. Though they no longer have a King, Jian and his family are actually descendants of the last known Earth King. He would have been next in line for the throne, however; that passed on to his eldest child the moment she was born. Nevertheless, Jian is a benevolent ruler despite his strict persona. He only wants what is best for his people, but that doesn't mean he has to make hasty decisions. That is evident when it comes to Ling's suitors. He does not approve of them, however; that isn't to say he won't find someone whom he approves of, and it might be the most unlikely person at that. ]

Personality: [ Mei is the most rational of the Sun daughters. Though she is still young, she keeps a calm, level mind when things happen, and is often the one sitting in on her father's meetings more-so than Ling does. If someone were being honest, they would have thought Mei to be the oldest daughter, not Ling. Though, she may be the more reserved child, she is far from being the mature one. She has her moments where she can be extremely childish, especially if she doesn't get her way. Ling pokes fun of her for this, however; she does her best to not be so childish. She is extremely cunning and intelligent to the point where she believes she is the rightful heir to her father's throne, not Ling, and harbors a deep jealousy of Ling. Not only for being the oldest and the heir, but also harboring most of their father's love. Mei has tried just about everything to rid her sister of her title, and wishes to ruin Ling in some way. She has yet to determine just how, but Mei is a very resourceful woman. She will figure something out eventually. ]
Information: [ Mei is the second daughter born to Jian, and is Ling's younger twin sister. She is considered to be the most beautiful of the four daughters, and rightfully so. Jian has used this to his advantage to arrange a marriage between her and a very prominent Noble in his Kingdom. It wasn't an easy sell, of course, as the Noble in question had to perform various duties to earn Jian's approval. She, however, has ulterior motives. She seeks to rid her sister of her status so that she may inherit what is rightfully Ling's. No one knows of this, of course, and is often seeking ways for her sister to have accidents. Surprisingly so, none of them have worked. She has a strange sense of rivalry with her sister, ]
