Humanity began to gain momentum and power against the monsters that they once feared quickly and in a short period of time. They found specialized weaknesses for each species and the counter attack against the monsters came in full swing. With a taste of power the people of Mundus alter did not stop the eradication of the monsters. Revenge filled minds conquered the creatures and drove many species into extinction. Terrified, the monster began to go into hiding, the weaker monsters, that had brought upon the wrath of humanity, groveled at the feet of the most powerful and ancient of monsters. They begged these creatures for solace and safety from the humans.
These ancient monsters, however; did not take pity upon these creatures. They had not brought upon humanity's rage, and knew they had nothing to fear. As time went on, the humans got bored with the smaller game monsters that they had nearly driven to extinction, and thus began to move onto bigger, stronger monsters did the ancient creatures begin to worry. One of the oldest beings on Muntus alter descended upon the humans to strike a deal, its name was Huitzilopochtli and its presence struck fear into the hearts of the people it faced. It rooted itself into the ground of a large plateau in the RyRidge Mountains and waited. Its unblinking eyes obverting the humans, its stony mouth frozen in a menacing grin. It took eight months for the first human to approach it, Huitzilopochtli's eyes followed the small creature's every movement, its grin never fading. "You are the first to approach me, I have seen your face and will never forget. Go back to your life, when the time comes I will find you." It said to the human, and the human left with only a grateful bow on shaking legs.
For two years Huitzilopochtli sat on the plateau on RyRidge mountain, and in that time five other humans approached it. For each of them it spoke the same words to the first. After the two years had past the giant monster moved from his spot for the first time since arriving and it let out a roar that echoed across the continent. It took several days for the humans to arrive, but once they did Huitzilopochtli granted the humans brave enough to come to it with a gift. They received a section of the continent, and drank the blood of Huitzilopochtli to ensure they would be reincarnated eternally. As assurance of their new power the ancient creature called upon monster species the humans had nearly driven to extinction, each the last of their kind, and bond each human soul to a monster, so that their monster companion would reincarnate as well, therefore never going extinct.
After giving the gifts Huitzilopochtli brought down the Gemini Twins from the heavens and appointed them guardians of the bloodlines. Their jobs to take care of the future generations guaranteed to come, to nurture the eggs of the beasts that would come from the earth with the birth of the new generation and protect them until the beasts came to be old enough to do it themselves, as the eggs of the beasts would not hatch until they were touched by their human counterpart. Thus this story creates the legend of the six riders, the blood granted leaders of Mundus alter.
