Introduction
They all exist in our world, a world we thought was made up entirely of humans, creatures that can pass as humans as well as monsters. Blood-drinkers. People that can turn into a large wolf at will. They're unnatural to humans, not unheard of but not well-known. Myths. Stories.
Secretive as they must keep their true identities hidden for their own safety, although there are some who have gone rogue and care not for who sees them as they truly are. Monsters in human form.
Vampires; According to the myths, they're known for being manipulative as well as fast and just as strong as werewolves.
Werewolves; According to the myths about werewolves, they're well-known for being over-protective of their loved ones and friends, as well as for their physical strength.
Some of them have fallen for humans, others for the other races. And even more; for their own race.

The vampire felt her fangs push at her bottom lip, her jaw aching. She'd skipped her daily meal the night before, instead choosing to read all night and only changing to her music around four in the morning. She had insane control of her blood lust for a vampire and was quite proud of it, although she often pushed it to its limits without seeming to care about the possibly dangerous results that could come of it. In actuality, Astor already considered every action before even doing anything; something that baffled the humans, adults and teenagers alike, at the high school she attended.
Which reminded her that she had to get her father to drive her there in a few hours. This whole act of portraying an intelligent and quiet high school student was beginning to annoy her. It was something Astor had been continuing for years and was also something she hated. What person in their right mind actually enjoyed school enough to repeat it over and over, in a new city and even new country each time, for years and years. Centuries, almost.
" Astor?" Her father's voice said softly. She turned immediately at the sound of his voice to see him standing in the doorway with his arms crossed over his clean pale blue dress shirt which was tucked into his black dress pants. Edward's suit jacket was looped over one of his arms as his hard grey eyes stared over at his daughter. " You should start getting ready for school," he continued, obviously he hadn't forgotten. She nodded and moved past him to the hallway on her way to her room to shower and prepare for yet another average day for a human.. Or a vampire trying to act like a human.

As his boots plodded across the stage and into the night, heading into the woods and towards his house, he hoped to escape before the sun rose but it seemed he was cutting it close this time, he could feel his skin start to sizzle and burn as the first rays of the sun peeked through the leaves. He ran the rest of the way, cursing under his breath as he finally made it to his house and flung open the door, closing it behind him quickly and plopping down onto the nearest coach. He was too tired to make to his room so the would have to do, he was just lucky that the curtains blocked out the sun. He let out an exasperated sigh before he closed his eyes and started to drift off to sleep.

She got out of bed, took a shower and changed clothes for the day. She then proceeded to the kitchen to shove a piece of toast down, pulling her hair into a sloppy bun as she exited the apartment building. She had classes, and missing them would definitely not reflect well on her. Myra looked to her watch, and seeing as she had time before her first class, she decided to take a short stroll around the nearest park. Besides, walking around cleared her head, especially negative thoughts. Those could take a toll on her, slowly eating up her concentration and wearing away her strength. And this early in the morning? No, that she couldn't let happen. She had to keep her chin up and keep moving forward, as difficult as it was.

That was until he glanced at the clock by his bedside table. Red hair spirawled around him like a pool, as he suddenly sat upright.
Blinking he couldn't believe the time, as he moved rather quickly trying to get himself dressed.
"I'm going to be late..."
He groaned as he rushed getting ready, quickly grabbed his bag and grabbed something for him to eat on the way. Making a beeline outside, adter locking his door, he shook his head. Why didn't the alarm clock work? Lucah Vinaddir wondered as he rushed knowing he was already in a heep of trouble.
What a way to start out for a school day let alone a morning. Sighing he shook his head almost in disbelief.
"I'm so going to be in trouble."
He spoke softly to himself shaking his head, He ran for it even though he made up for time being a good runner, he didn't want to run too fast to attract any form of attention.
Sighing he run until he began to see the school coming into view and he continued at that pace making it in time for when the last bell rang. Though it didn't mean he'd get to his first class in time, since he had a ways to go inside the school, besides that he wasn't allowed to run inside the school. No one was. Thankful as he finished eating his food. That he already had his school books he needed for his first class and his homework completed, he headed in the direction for his first class.

He ran a comb quickly through his hair, letting it fall wherever it may. His apartment was as much of a mess as his hair. Worse actually, he thought as he really took in the location of disaster. A newspaper lay in ruins spread out across the coffee table in his little living room, the sink was full of dishes he needed to wash, a full trash can, there was a towel on the bathroom floor that he could see through the half-open door. Maybe he'd come back early to do some much needed cleaning, but more than likely he'd find something more interesting to do.
He ignored the mess and snagged his wallet and the keys to his car and shoved it into his pocket. He wouldn't use the keys of course. He walked nearly everywhere. But it was a force of habit and he wouldn't be able to tolerate knowing he didn't have them on him. By the time he actually discovered where he was going, he was already halfway to the grocery store. That was a great idea, he thought. He thanked his subconscious for being so unknowingly smart. He didn't get to cook very often anymore, and it'd be a nice way to calm his nerves after he returned home from work later that day. It would end up as more of a midnight snack than a dinner considering he wouldn't be back in his apartment until 11pm, so he decided to pick out some kind of dessert. Browsing through the aisles, he tried to get an idea of something to make.

She turned onto her block, her cobblestone house in the distance. 'I have school today,' she thought almost sourly, blowing a short, chocolate brown strand of hair from her face. A thin layer of sweat coated her face, and she felt in need of a cold shower.
Upon reaching her home she practically ran inside, going straight for the stairs which lead to the rooms and bathroom.
"Ace! Ace!" two happy voices shouted in unison as a pair of blonde headed boys ran barreling down the steps towards their sister. "Guys! I'm sweaty!" Accalia laughed, stuffing her I-pod into her hoodie pocket quickly, getting tackled by Jordan. Most could not tell the twins apart, but she certainly could. "We've missed you!" Jeremy squealed as he hugged her legs, giving a wide smile. "I have missed you both, but I have only been gone for a hour or so." Ace explained as she hugged Jordan back before he finally released her.
"We thought that Lycan would get you like it got daddy!" Jordan blurted, immediately covering his mouth as Accalia sat him down and winced. "No," she replied airily, giving a tight smile. It felt like her breath had been sucked from her. She slid around them, jogging up the stairs. "Gotta take a shower.." she went on in a monotone, blinking back annoying tears. With that, she swiftly made her way into the bathroom.
Thirty-five minutes later Accalia was making her way back done the stairs. Jordan and Jeremy were gone to school, her mother to work. She wore a pair of fade jeans and a simple dark blue hoodie. Her choppy, short hair fell softly against her cheeks, smelling that of strawberries. Ace walked into the kitchen and grabbed a pop-tart before going towards the front door. She snagged up her backpack in the process, slinging it over one shoulder and yanking the door out of her way.
She took a quick bite of her breakfast as she walked down the sidewalk at a brisk pace. She had a long walk to school..

Her head was against the window as she stared out the glass, itching to be out of the car and at the boring high school already. She found it vaguely amusing that she dreaded going to that blasted school with all those immature children but looked forward to it once her father mentioned driving her. She wouldn't be able to forgive him for lying to her, not for another hundred years at least. The music playing quietly on the radio annoyed her for some reason, rap was okay but that differed from song to song.. This one was apparently far from the best of all rap, Astor thought as she reached over and turned the radio completely off. Silence was better than that, whatever that could be considered as since it was hardly music.
" Astor," her father began before he was rudely interrupted by his daughter. " Don't talk to me." The teen shot a glare at him before turning her eyes back to the passing scenery, her tone had been cold as ice. Yes, he was definitely still unforgiven and hopefully he would finally realize that now.. But with her father, that particular realization might take another fifty years for Astor's apparent distrust and anger toward Edward to sink in.

Lucah sighed as he entered it in time. Thankfully he wasn't noticed as he quickly sat into his desk, dropping his books on it, hoping the teacher wouldn't
notice his tardiness. Gulping as he crossed his fingers, he really wasn't in the mood of the teacher being all lecturing him on him being late yet again.
So far though it seemed good as she was busy doing something else. Opening his books, he checked to make sure he had his homework in this binder, a sigh of relief escaped him, as Lucah looked somewhat relieved that it was in there.
The last thing he needed was his homework forgotten at home.
As class got started he was thankful the teacher hadn't noticed like she normally did.
Perhaps her mind was on something else? He hoped.

On the other end of the phone was one of his band mates, Andre if he remembered correctly, but all bloody 'sheep' sounded the same in the morning. "Hey, I got the location for next gig, it is at the school again but it is in the theater. It is going to be in two weeks." The bass player said, but just by listening to him Cedric knew he was holding something back. The vampire rolled his eyes and pushed himself up off the couch, rubbing his temple in annoyance. After all the time the two had been together, a whole year now, which was longer then most of his friend, what made Andre think he could hide anything from him.
"Andre...I don't have time for your games...what the hell are you hiding from me?" Cedric snarled out, he was in no mood for guessing games. He was way too tired and pissed off for those. "Tell me now...or next time I see you I am going to feed you your own hand." The creature of the night threatened. That seemed to get a reaction out of his friend, he could hear his breathing become faster over the phone.
"I-it is in the middle of the afternoon...Bbut there are going to be a lot of students there and it will boost our reputation!" The poor bass player blurted out, he believed Cedric's threats, after all he had seen him angry before...not a pretty sight.
Cedric raised an eyebrow and let out a chuckle. "Andre, you know I can't go out in the daylight...I have night class and I sleep during the day, plus I have a slight allergy to the sun itself." It was an old excuse but it usually worked...but not this time.
"I-I already said that we would...Yyou can use an umbrella...come on man, just this once"
Ok, now Cedric was mad. "You WHAT?! You bloody idiot! I should skin you for this. Ugh..." He hated this, he hated the sun but more importantly he hated how much he actually cared for the band. "Fine...fine...but that umbrella better block out the sun...I don't want to burn." He snarled out, he really didn't want to burn...after all, all that would remain would be some ashes. "Look I have to sleep...good night you bloody idiot!" And with that he hung up the phone and wondered what in the 7th layer of hell did he just get himself into...He grabbed rag from the table next to him and wiped the makeup off of his face and the couch. He then let out a sigh as he went back to sleep, hoping this time not to be disturbed.

Walking out of the store with two bags in hand, he headed back home to set everything on the kitchen counter. He didn't bother to unload anything but the cold things, and left the rest in the white plastic bags on his counter. He sat on the barstool for a minute, but then realized he couldn't put it off any longer. He had to clean. Turning on some rock music on his cheap stereo, he let the hours slide and passed the time putting away all the things that should already have been put away. Unfortunately, it had taken less time than he thought it would. His apartment was spotless and he still had time before his first and only class on campus.
He sighed, and lounged on the couch, unsure of how to spend his time now.

Glancing at his watch as he quickly jotted down notes, he continued taking them because there was a test in a few days and the notes would help him
with studying for it. Though he hated writing notes because the teacher spoke so fast he did his best writing them down,
Taking a break, he brushed his red hair from his face as it blocked his view of writing. Once he had done that he sighed as he seriously wished the teacher didn't speak so darn fast. His wrist already was sore from how quickly he wrote it down. By the time he finished he set down his pen and gently massaged his right wrist, trying to work out the cramping that had begun.

This was the third time in as many days. Astor slammed the car door as she walked away, obviously unimpressed as she carried a messenger bag over one of her fragile-looking shoulders and her expression appearing calm. There was absolutely no sign of having previously thrown a sort of hissy fit that better fitted a child of ten years old instead of her four hundred and eight.
She rolled her dark brown eyes, which seemed to be almost black, as she made her way to her second period class. Journalism; a class that happened to be made up of only nine people including herself. Luckily for her, the class consisted of a quick twenty minute talk, hardly a lesson, before everyone went off to do their own thing. In other words, this class was just a simple step for her when the others seemed to constantly struggle. Astor was often amused as they asked for help daily while she never did, they didn't know what to write about or how to word something. In Astor's case, she had too much she could write about; mainly historical, of course. She rather enjoyed history which, ironically enough, was her next class after journalism.
The discussion was fast, easily stored into her memory as she found herself and the other dismissed and she moved quickly from the class. She sighed as she walked outside and dropped her messenger bag on the ground, sitting on the ground with her back against the brick wall of the school. Astor tilted her head down and allowed her long, jet black hair to fall around her face like a curtain just as she felt the blood lust kick in.
" No!" She gasped, her voice sounding hoarse as she glanced up to see if anyone was around. There was no one.. so why was it acting up now? She couldn't help but wonder as she realized how stupid it had been of her to even come today without feeding, regardless of her meaningless pride over her self-control. She felt the aching in her jaw grow worse as her fangs pushed against her lower lip, biting into it as she clenched her hands into fists on her knees. Astor's eyes widened as she suddenly leapt to her feet, her movements blurringly fast and almost impossible to catch by any of the ordinary human's that would be here.
She barely stopped to pick up her bag and sling it over her shoulders before running off to find something that would suffice as breakfast. Astor didn't think it would be a good idea to return to the school for her afternoon classes and found it a pity she had to miss history, though she only allowed her mind to pause on that thought for a millisecond at most.

Right there, she began to tug at layers of her , gazing over her shoulder briefly. No one dared get out in this weather, not with the ominous clouds above. She freed herself of her hoodie, her sneakers, socks, tank top, then shimmed from her . With a small smirk she fell to her knees lightly in the soft dirt.
The shift was easy for her, being a natural born Lycan and all. In mere minutes of bone grinding against bone, rearranging themselves properly, with only a small cry passing her lips, she was gone. In her place was a larger than normal wolf, the color of deep chocolate, yet its chest was a creamy tan color, eyes very human-like, a light baby blue. The only thing that ever reminded Ace's mother it was really her. A snort escaped her nose, coming out as hot air as she began trotting through the thick woods, her fur rustling in the slight breeze that blew, bringing thousands of scents to her attention. A rabbit to the left of her, eight feet away, frozen in place. A burger joint about five miles away, humans in a park not too far away. A vampire.
Ace snorted once more, a low, throaty growl sounding deep within her chest, a simple instinct. She ignored this, however, and continued to pad her way through the woods. She would have to go back for her backpack and attire before someone found them. What would they think? A streaker through the woods? 'Good heavens,' she thought sarcastically, rolling her large predatory eyes. Her ears pricked forward as her stomach grumbled, reminding her she had not had much of a breakfast. She would have to eat soon and that the burgers cooking at the restaurant not far away smelt pretty good.
Accalia huffed, plopping down in the smooth dirt, staring at the ground. She pawed at a bug passing by absently. 'I need friends,' she thought, almost with humor. This was just plain sad. A lone wolf in the middle of the woods. Most normal kids would actually be at school, with their classmates.. Having a good time. But not her, oh no! She'd rather tromp through the woods as a giant, furry beast.

She felt a bit light-headed from all the sprinting, but this was what she deserved. She blew a few strands of her hair out of her face and shook her hair out of the sloppy bun (which was even more sloppy, now). She turned her attention to the front of the room and tried to focus on the teacher, who seemed to have missed her entrance, thank God. . . .

He could never get used to this, out of all the nightmares he had he hated this one the most. He was eighteen again, and there was his father, his father apologizing for all the crap that he put him through, and for the first time smiling, smiling after his mothers death without the aid of booze. He was so happy he could have cried, and in fact he did, then and in the dream. They went outside, to enjoy the scenery and the fresh night air for the first time in eight years.
But then the dream took a darker turn as the sound of hoofbeats echoed around them, thudding through the air and filling the space. He looked around scared, though he knew what was going to happen, his dream self didn't. Men in ragged clothes and scars over there body surrounded them, he could see the flash of steel and hear the ringing as they drew their blades. He screamed, both in his dream and in his sleep.
Everything else happened so fast, he could smell the copper scent of blood, feel it splash against his skin as his father and siblings were slaughtered, their corpses ransacked. And then he felt an enormous amount of pain as a dagger sank into his flesh as he slowly died. And then...then.
Then he woke up, screaming in terror. He quickly closed his mouth, almost crying but managing to keep his composure. He really hated that dream. Even more so because it was true. He wiped his brow and stood up, lifting the curtain a little to peak outside. When had the clouds rolled in? He shuddered softly, he could still hear their screams. Maybe a walk outside would calm his nerves. He hoped that the leaves would protect him this time should the sun decide to come out and play again.

Her cellphone buzzed and she fished it out of her pocket as she continued to walk, her dark brown eyes seeing her fathers name on the screen. Astor rolled her eyes as she pressed 'Talk' and held the communication device up to her ear. " What?" As always she got straight to the point with Edward. There was a pause, long enough for him to say a few words before Astor cut in sharply. " I was hungry and I'm not going back to school today." Another pause. " I'll be back later," she stated in an annoyed tone before hanging up on him.
Edward wouldn't call her back, she already knew, which left her to do whatever she wanted until dark or later. She couldn't help the lovely smile that spread over her lips as she turned to a popular clothing store she frequented. She was definitely doing her rounds today. After all, shopping was a good way to spend time and money.. Especially since she had so much of it.

The car ride to the mall was short, but full of people who didn't know how to drive. Tyler hated driving near the campus; a bunch of young kids his age determined to speed, blast music, or not pay any attention to their driving while they text or talk on the phone. And there were so many of them... He finally made it to the parking lot, this time without nearly getting rear-ended, and found a spot near the door. He had about two hours to browse before his only class. Taking off his sunglasses, he proceeded to roam the mall.
(OOC: Didn't really know what to have him do so it's kinda short, I'm sorry </3)

" Thank you," Astor said with a beautiful smile as she accepted the bag that held her most recent purchases, gliding across the floor and out the door. She now had three or four bags, each from different stores, that she now held in her pale hands as she walked among the crowd of teenagers that were skipping school and adults that just wanted time out of the house. Her dark brown eyes were shadowed, giving her an even more mysterious-like aura that surrounded her.
Walking by one of her favourite music stores she paused, staring in the window for a mere moment before stepping forward and entering the store. There was a CD she'd been meaning to buy for a while now and since she was here, well.. It would be a waste of a trip [i]not[i/i] to buy it. Astor took her sweet time looking over each album and their artists, her eyes scanning the names of songs and registering each in her mind to be remembered at a later date. She barely glanced at her cellphone before moving onto where she knew the CD would be, waiting for her to buy it and take it home to play it.

Oh my gosh! I am so sorry...I didn't know someone had reserved the vampire...

Re: [OOC] Before Morning Comes
I'm starting the roleplay during night time. Well, actually, it's more like early morning. Just before dawn. Everybody is doing their own thing at this point. Humans are probably sleeping or preparing for school/work, same with vampires and werewolves.
Basically, everyone starts doing whatever they're characters would do in the morning. And, another thing, some may know each other already while others may not, it's completely up to each of you.
This is pretty well character driven which means that if anyone has any plot ideas I'm willing to listen to them all, figuratively not literally. XD
@MirrorMirror1498: KeiraHigurashi did, in fact, finish her character and it was accepted. I'm sorry but all the necessary roles have been filled. :s

@chikyuutenshi: I will reserve it buuuut I'd like you to use the character sheet I have created, it's in the introduction. It gives a little bit more information than you've already given me for your character. Please use that and you'll probably get your character accepted.
^ I'm a Nazi when it comes to character sheets, I prefer to use them than the basic one we already are given. It's nothing against you, so please don't think that. Thank you. :)
