"Why are you even thinking of wearing red anyway? You're hot. You're single. You should be wearing green if I'm understanding the rules of this traffic light party correctly," Alessia opined just before taking a sip of the vanilla frappucino Gigi had picked up for from Starbucks on the way to school. They were seated on the left corner of the steps leading into the school since no one really liked being the very first person in class, particularly Alessia since she scarcely wanted to be there in the first place. The drink with its caramel swirl that she had requested was helping with the motivation she needed. "Says the hot girl going in yellow." Gigi retorted and Alessia nodded through another sip before replying, Yeah, but me going in yellow is completely different from you going in red. You can either wear yellow and put your business out there by saying shit is complicated and whatnot, or you can just be a tease and see which hottie is gonna make a move regardless. And you know I like being a tease." While Alessia had yet to pick her actual bikini out yet since shopping was a must, despite having a ton of bikinis at her house that she had yet to wear, her decision was final on the color. Going in green, in her case, meant being receptive to thirsty boys (and girls, even if she didn't want to admit it) who immediately saw her wearing green as a sign that she would be easy. Yellow required just a bit more tact, perhaps even a touch more respect in people's initial seductions. After all, by wearing yellow, while you were saying that there was something there, that something can easily be ignored when given a better option. Even if it's just for tomorrow night. Plus, on a much more egotistical level, Ali liked the way her sun-kissed skin looked wrapped in yellow.

"Still..." Ali rolled her eyes, making Chloe snicker. "Still nothing, Gigi. Drew's made it clear he's over you and you need to get over him. And the best way to tell your old man you're over him is getting under a new man where he can see. You're wearing green, end of the conversation." Gigi could make all of the faces in the world, but Alessia meant what she said. She didn't necessarily advise Gigi to sleep with anyone; the girl grew easily attached to people and that just wouldn't do, especially with her more vulnerable disposition at the moment. But Drew had crossed the line by breaking up with Ali's girl one month ago and then dating one of the girls on the fencing team. That was cruel and while Ali wanted to just scratch that bitch's eyes out for not knowing loyalty and smacking the junior in the face, she surmised that it was a horrible plan. What was better was seeing Drew's face after Gigi earned a hickey or two from someone else, preferably one of his friends if Alessia's plan went accordingly.

After a few minutes, an ugly, supposedly "vintage" car pulled up and Ali immediately knew who it was, nudging Chloe so that the girl could turn around. They giggled the second Tristan emerged from it, but cackled even further once his brother let out his exclamation. No matter what he had to say on the matter, Alessia wasn't a bully, not that she considered it as such. She didn't like Tristan - and he really needed to stop trying to convince himself that his name was anything but because Castiel just didn't fit - and it wasn't just because he was some weirdo who happened to have a similar financial background to herself for some unknown reason. It was because he had such a similar financial background to her, was a complete weirdo, and somehow managed to be considered an A-Lister. While some might question why that had anything to do with her, Ali didn't appreciate having someone within her ranks who didn't earn that right. Being rich didn't mean shit when there's literally nothing about you that makes you a Prep or even a Royal and by now, considering how the hierarchy worked, for some inexplicable reason, Tristan was in some way above Ali and that just wouldn't do. Like, no. Hell, she didn't even like that chick Natalia and she could understand better why she was an A-Lister and could possibly be higher as opposed to Tristan. And so, if she casually and occasionally displayed a touch of her disdain for his existence among her king, Ali didn't call it bullying. If it really was bullying, it would bother him and if it bothered him, he'd just go to the bottom of barrel with the rest of his kind instead of pretending like he belonged with hers.

"Yeah, Cassie, baby," she teased when he made it close enough to hear, ignoring her own phone's vibration in favor of smiling oh-so-sweetly at the boy. "Have a funderful day." Alessia giggled only a moment later, turning it into a full blown laugh when Gigi commented something about Walmart wanting all of their Captain America paraphernalia back from their kids' section. While the laughter died down, Ali glanced down at her phone and gave a small squeal while trying to hurry and text Laylah back. She must have missed her while waiting for Gigi to stop pouting in her car.

Katherine had only perked up even more when Gabrielle joined them. Although the girl was a grade above she and Nat, and frequently seemed to have female senior Royal friends to hang out with, Kat considered her to be a close friend. Gabby was good about making time for any Royal who she deemed a friend, and Katherine found her to be a lot of fun, so her presence was nothing but welcomed. "There's like a one percent chance that I'm actually wearing a bathing suit tomorrow. I'm not in the showy-mood lately, and I'm definitely not going to want to go in the water," she rationed. The reasons were honest, and she wasn't even trying to avoid admitting that she wasn't in a mindset where she wanted to be wearing something skimpy. Katherine certainly was still battling some unnecessary body image and weight issues, and the idea of wearing a bathing suit in public, especially when she wasn't planning on being in the water for the majority of the time, did still bother her. She was far better with it today than she was a few years ago, when it was a legitimate struggle for her to even do that in front of just a few friends, lounging around the pool on her own property, but the struggles still existed. However, in her defense, while that played a role in part of why she didn't want to wear a bikini tomorrow, she also just felt like wearing actual clothes would be easier for the night. She would feel more comfortable, mentally and physically, she justified, and though she would still be adamant about shopping tonight to look for more options, she did already have a red option waiting for her in her closet, should she not find anything at a store. "AKA, she's coming because she loves me and would never want to lose me as a friend, and would always choose me over any silly, little boy," she said, masking her voice with the best innocent cover she could muster up, as if she was simply stating the truth, and still not being territorial over her. "And because I have to make sure that the two of you pick out the nicest green outfits I can find." With Gabrielle being freshly single, and Katherine wanting to do everything in her power to make sure that Natalia remained single, she knew that she would have more fun, making it her mission to find them outfits, over searching for one for herself.

"I see Ari in chem, so I'll ask her too, but who knows if she'll even answer me. I swear, she literally takes every class so seriously, and it's only the first week of school. I asked her for an extra pen yesterday, and oh my God, you would have thought that I interrupted her while she was saying her wedding vows or something, with the glare that I got." Of course, Katherine was being dramatic, but she was being serious in her opinion, at least, of how Arizona overreacted. Katherine had come to terms with not being book smart, and maybe that played a role in it, too. She was the kind of person who could probably manage B's in her classes if she put in the effort, but she didn't, so she was used to just barely passing her classes. Because of that, she didn't understand why other people cared so much, especially someone like Ari, who school seemed equally hopeless to. What was the use in studying like a nerd, and acting so serious about school, like a nerd, if you were never going to get the grades to give you any payoff? Clearly, Kat didn't see any, and that was why it baffled her as to why Ari took offense to her interrupting her train of thought during their harder classes to ask for silly things like an extra pen or a piece of gum.

Natalia, Timothy, Katherine and Lennox's responses all had ELijah smirking, but he didn't object to the two girls separating themselves, considering that it gave the boy's a little space to talk about things that the girls who have deemed "disrespectful" or something like that, that would have only made Eli roll his eyes. He waited until after saying hello to Gabby, who passed by them to catch up to the girls after only a second, before addressing what had just come out of Knox's mouth. "Whoa, whoa, whoa," he objected, after Knox spoke, raising his hands as if to say "slow down there". "Hold on, just a minute, Knox. I automatically assumed that we were going with the bro code, that sisters are always off limits, but if Kayleen's fair game for you, then she's gonna be fair game for me too. I mean, if we wanna be technical here, I've known about her the longest, so..." He allowed his sentence to trail off there, though his eyes looked towards Timothy, as if to ask for his agreement on the matter. In reality, Elijah had known of Kayleen's existence for a few years, but it wasn't like he had ever actually known her, to give him some sort of seniority standing to woo her, over Lennox, as if something like that even existed. Besides, considering that there was a part of Elijah that still told him that Katherine, Timothy's girlfriend, was fair game, it wasn't hard to imagine that if Eli was drunk enough, Kayleen would look like she was wearing green to him no matter what she was really wearing, and no matter what Timothy thought of it. He knew it was wrong, and that was why the sober Elijah hadn't considered going for Kayleen until now, when Lennox was the one being direct enough to ask Timothy if he would feel weird about it.

If the answer was that Timothy didn't care, and that Lennox was right that he disliked his half-sister more than he cared about her, than Eli would be adamant in at least challenging Knox to see which of them could talk the blonde's pants off the quickest. If the answer was that Timothy would feel weird, and would prefer that neither of them make an attempt with Kayleen, than Eli could still feel superior in being able to gloat about being the true good friend, given that he could have asked about Kayleen long ago, but knew better. Now that he was really thinking about it, though, he couldn't see why Tim would care. He barely knew Kayleen more than any of them did, so he couldn't imagine Timothy seeing it as being even remotely comparable to them trying to get with Michaela, his "real" sister. She was just a girl who happened to share a father with him, who he had only lived with for two days. Now, convincing him that Tim was bound to say that they could go for her, Eli talked himself up into believing that if anyone should "welcome" her to California, it should get to be him. Most of the time, he was completely content with embracing how much of a player he was, but now that it would work to his benefit in believing otherwise, he decided that out of the two of them, he was the one who was less likely to break Kayleen's heart over Lennox. He wouldn't want to date her, or be anything with her beyond physical, but he was sure that he could find a way to do it in a way that would make him seem like a gentleman, unlike Lennox.

"Thank God it's Friday!"

Location: The Brentwood School

"Ari being uptight? Wow, real shocker, Kat," Gabrielle said, clearly sarcastically, as she rolled her eyes, though the eye roll was directed more so at Ari than it was as Kat. "We really have to loosen that girl up. I mean, don't get me wrong - I love her and everything, but I'll never forgive myself if I leave this year and she's still as by-the-books as she is now." Gabrielle, and Katherine too, were clearly oblivious that Ari was more unpredictable than they would have imagined, but they couldn't be blamed for not knowing that at one point, Ari and Natalia had actually made out. Given Ari's personality, it was the last thing that anyone would have guessed, partly because Gabby just assumed that Ari was straight, and also because she wasn't the kind of girl who seemed to do random hookups. Plus, Gabby would have thought that given that it happened between two of the girls in her own clique, she would have heard about it, so really, it wasn't surprising that she still believed Ari to be the same "likes to plan for everything" girl she always thought of her as. It didn't mean that Gabby didn't like Ari, because she definitely did. She knew that Ari was more fun than they teasingly gave her credit for, and considered the girl to be a friend regardless of how much she liked to tease her.

"I'll wear a bikini with you, even if Little Miss Conservative over here, doesn't want to," Gabby said to Natalia. Part of Gabby knew that she should push Katherine in the issue, and sometimes, when things like this came up, she did. She wasn't as privy to the extensiveness of Katherine's body image issues as Natalia was, given that the girls knew each other for years longer than Gabby knew them, but she was close enough to Katherine to know that it was something that the girl struggled with. The good friend in Gabby would often gently insist that a girl with as flawless as a figure as Katherine's simply had to flaunt it, but there was the more selfish side to Gabby that liked to just shrug her shoulders sometimes, when it seemed like a losing battle. Katherine would likely be stubborn about this, and as bad as it was, Gabby didn't care to be that good friend in the moment. She had her own things to worry about, like what she was going to wear tomorrow.

This was the first event she was going to since her split up with her boyfriend, and though he was away at college now and wouldn't be there anyway, she still felt like it was significant. A few weeks ago, she thought she would be wearing red, and now suddenly, she had to go in green, and the wounds regarding that were still fresh to her. Fresh enough, too, that she looked over her shoulder for a second, as the girls entered the school building, to make sure that Timothy and the boys (but mostly, Timothy) were still close enough. Additionally, that thought was what led her to follow up her first comment with, "But I feel like the three of us should wear green, really. Or Kat, you should at least wear yellow. I mean, I know that you and Tim are a "couple", or whatever little title you guys want to give it for now, but I feel like you need to remind him that you could step back out onto the market at any moment. I feel like showing up in yellow would be the perfect move to keep him interested, you know? I mean, especially with someone like him, where cheating runs in the family blood, that's how you have to do it - you have to constantly remind them that you can cheat too, if you feel like it." Gabrielle was being nothing short of an instigator here, knowing good and well that Timothy wouldn't cheat on Kat, and that Kat had nothing to worry about in regards to that. She knew that Kat was the weakest link of their group, mentally, though, and that it only took a few comments like that to get into her head. As a friend, it was incredibly wrong to do, but Gabrielle was only thinking of herself right now. It was all about self-preservation, and saving face. She felt insecure now that her boyfriend had cheated on her, so now she had to ruin someone else's relationship, so that she wasn't alone in that.

"Angel! Rhapsody, darling! Il est temps pour vous de se rendre ร  l'รฉcole!" (It's time for you to go to school!)Rhapsody's mother was yelling from down the stairs of her art studio and bedroom, trying to get her daughter attention over the music blasting from the other side of the door but, the young artist was to focused to hear anything outside of her own personal bubble. She was too focused on the humongous marble sculpture in front of her and the jazz music playing around her to hear her mother or to see her phone going off. She had been working on her piece for months and now she was just finishing up cleaning off the excess dust from the marble. It wasn't until she heard a loud knock on the door that she snapped out of it to answer. "Huh? What?" Her eyes were still locked on her art, her baby, as the voice spoke again. "Excuse me? Ne pas ce que moi, Rhapsody Iman Vincent. Je suis ta mรจre et je peux vous enfermer lร -dedans." (Do not what me, Rhapsody Iman Vincent. I am your mother and I can lock you in there.) Her mother yelled from the other side of the door so she could be heard over the music. "Shit." The young girl said under her breath as she tossed her brush down to the wooden floor and walked quickly down the metal stairs on the ladder to let her mom in. She jumped off the last step and rushed to the door to unlock it. She opened the door to see her mother with a smug smile on her face. "Dรฉsolรฉ maman. Je viens, tu sais dans la zone." (Sorry mom. I just, you know in the zone.) Her mother nodded as she picked some marble pieces out of her daughter curly locks. "Je connais. Je connais. Vous avez รฉtรฉ dans la zone depuis quatre heures du matin. Vous avez dit que vous alliez arrรชter de faire รงa.." (I know. I know. You have been in the zone since four in the morning. You said you were going to stop doing that.)

"Je sais que je dis que j'arrรชter, mais je viens de recevoir une idรฉe et je vais le perdre. Et--.." (I know I said I would stop, but I just got an idea and I was going to lose it. And--..) Her mother just put a hand up to stop her daughter from rambling. "Vous รชtes la fille de ton pรจre. Maintenant, prรฉparez-vous." (You are the daughter of your father. Now, get ready.) Rhaps furrowed her brows before looking at the time on her clock in the corner. She has an hour and half not only to get ready but to also get to Brentwood that was thirty minutes away. "Crap!" She scurried into her studio to move her metal stairs into the corner of the large room before turning off her blasting jazz music. She tossed off her goggles and reached for her thick rimmed glasses and slide them on. She didn't worry about closing her skylight seeing that she would need the lighting when she got back home. As she rushed to move past her mother and scurry down the wooden stairs into her room which was connected to her studio, she almost tripped down the last step. She was always clumsy and she as much as she tried to become more elegant it was no use. She could her mother chuckle as she walked down the stairs and left her daughter's room without another word. Thank god she already had her outfit picked out so it allowed her to rush and take a shower and pray that all of the dust and chunks of marble would get out of her hair. But, of course that didn't happen seeing that her hair was so curly that it held on to things like Rhapsody held on to art brushes.

After around thirty minutes, Rhaps was out of the shower and was back in her room responding to Natalia who had one of her scarves. Not that she cared seeing that she had dozens of them to chose from. She text her best friend back before tossing her phone on her bed where her outfit was before she up on the black shorts that hugged her curves along with black tights to cover her legs and am acid wash jean jacket to top off the look.

To: Nat
Fine, but you owe me. <3

"Chรฉri, tu devrais y aller!" (Darling, you should get going!) Rhaps' father said from down the stairs. Rhapsody groaned as she looked over towards the door from where she was sitting at her vanity to fix her hair. "Ne me prรฉcipitez pas. Je pars." (Do not rush me. I'm leaving.) She turned back towards her reflection to wrap her headband tightly around her hair. When it was perfectly she rushed for her bag filled with her books and supplies that she saw as necessities. As she rushed down the stairs of the Vincent house and out the door before her mom and dad could stop her to try and get her to sit down to have breakfast. "Au revoir maman. Bye papa. Je t'aime!" (Bye mom. Bye papa. Love you!) She tossed her bag into her passenger seat before she slid into the driver's seat but, before she could start the car her dad was at her window with a Lilly Pulitzer lunch bag. Which she would have laughed at seeing that her father was a 6'7 muscular man holding a small pink flowery bag is she wasn't annoyed. Rhaps sighed deeply before lowering the window but before she could say anything her father's deep booming voice interrupted her. "Votre mรจre veut juste que vous mangez quelque chose." (Your mother just wants you to eat something.) She sighed again. "Je n'ai pas faim." (I am not hungry.)

"Ensuite, donner ร  Natalia ou petit ami de la vรดtre, Giovanni ou est-ce Samuel" (Then give it to Natalia or that boyfriend of yours, Giovanni or is it Samuel.) Rhapsody nearly chocked on air. "What?! Neither! They're friends, papa that is it. That is all they are." Her father held his hands up defense. "Okay, okay. Amis, ils ne sont que des amis." (Friends, they are only friends.) Rhapsody nodded as she put the bag of food in her backpack. "Thank you." She rubbed her face before her father gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Have a great day. And say hello to your boyfriends, they are very nice." Francois said to his daughter as he walked back into the house only to hear her groan before starting her music. Before driving to school she sent a few text in order to find out where her friends were meeting at Brentwood before class. She tossed her phone back down as she started her 30 minute drive.

To: Riptide, Sammy, Rhys, Gio

Tristan had quickly responded to Sam's text, and so he was just about to reply telling the boy he was still seated in Zara's car, that was until he heard a very familiar voice shouting - Smirking slightly, Sam recognises it as Tristan's brothers voice and as Sam glances over to the source of the sound, sure enough, he sees Tristan exiting a car. Sliding his phone back into his pocket, Sam leans over to Zara who is busy on her phone, and pokes her cheek "I'm gonna go pick up Tristan - see you inside?" Looking at him with her brown doe-eyes, Zara nods "Ok cool, tell the little weirdo I say hey." Zara responds, not meaning to be rude with her comment, just teasing.

As Sam heads toward Tristan, he glances at the school entrance, noticing Laylah heading up the steps and into the building. Shaking his head, Sam tries to push away the strange feeling in his stomach as he focuses his attention back onto Tristan, trying to block his ex from his mind. Nearing the steps himself, Sam rolls his eyes as he hears Alessia teasing his friend, Sam nudges Tristan raising an eyebrow at him, "Ignore her," He says, just loud enough for the girls to hear, "She's just a little girl."

While the jeering tone of Sam's voice was evident, the guy found himself actually relieved to have someone else with whom he could take his mind off Laylah - even if it was Alessia, the spoilt little A-lister girl who thought that her social standing meant she could walk all over those lower than her on the social hierarchy. What she didn't realise, was that Sam couldn't care less about whether she was an A-lister or a C-lister, he was elder than her and felt that deemed him a little more respect than she deigned to give him. Plus her brother was Eli and while personally, Sam had no problem with the guy, he knew Zara's feelings toward him all too well and if that didn't send up warning flags, nothing else would.

Checking his phone after it beeps with an incoming text, Sam smiles at Rhapsody's message, he looks over to Tristan, "Wanna hang with Rhaps?" Sam asks, he wasn't entirely sure where the pair stood with each other, all Sam knew was that they weren't enemies or anything, so he figured it was safe to invite Tristan along.

To: Rhaps
You had me at food. I'll come to you, where you @?

Switching his thoughts away from the people in front of him, Sam adjusts his backpack, which inside held a new piece that Sam had recently finished over the summer - something he wanted to show Rhapsody, and hopefully, get her approval - Sam cared about her opinion most. Not because he favoured her the best (although she was one of his closest friends) but because she was an artist just like him, and so Rhapsody possessed that same keen eye as Sam, and the ability to fully appreciate art in all of it's forms.

It's not until he feels someone jump on his back that Sam is jogged out of his thoughtful haze, "I got bored." Zara giggled into his ear, as Sam lets out a deep breath, grabbing the girls legs so he could hold onto her easier, "Jesus Zar - you're really trying to kill me today aren't you?" Poking the older guys cheek, as revenge for before, Zara merely bats her long lashes, feigning innocence. "Me? Why I'm a sweet little girl," Looking toward Alessia, Zara laughs a little having overheard Sam's comments about her just before Zara had come over, "Just like Alessia, isn't that right Sammy?" Before either Alessia or Sam have a chance to comment, Zara whips out her phone, her inability to focus on one thing at a time and energetic personality colliding, she shoots a quick text off to one of her best friends, Ripley.

To: Ripster
Come save me, I'm bored already and school hasn't even started :-(

Make no mistake - Timothy Cargill possessed an ego and some arrogance, much like Elijah and Lennox. However, people who knew him and even just knew of him, likely thought of him in a completely different light than they would Knox or Eli. Simply put, Timothy possessed a personality that was more easy to like than the other boys. His way of being didn't revolve around him being better than others, and he wasn't constantly wearing that ego to a point where that was what he was recognized by. Things rolled off his back easier than they did with the other boys, so he was definitely seen as being more laid back and approachable. That was why the things that came out of Knox and Eli's mouths didn't bother him in the slightest. On one hand, it was true that they didn't bother him because he was so used to hearing things like that, but he also just didn't get worked up over most things. Their comments regarding Katherine fell into that category, and he only shook his head in amusement at Knox insisting that Kat always had room for him in her bed. His smile remained, even as Knox brought up Kayleen, and then, even still, when Elijah jumped in to claim his position as being the best or most entitled suitor for Kayleen, as if this were some time way back when, when men could actually claim something like that over women. The teenage boys were all, to an extent, misogynistic like that, but Timothy was well aware that their comments were coming more so, out of concern for that very same "bro code" that Elijah brought up. Like them, he wasn't even sure if that bro code needed to apply here, because Lennox was right in pointing out that there was some very noticable distance between himself and Kayleen. He didn't necessarily feel like he needed to shield her from anyone or anything, because she was her own person, capable of making her own choices and doing what she wanted. At the same time, the idea of either of these guys "having their way" with her, left a sour taste in his mouth because he knew how both of them were. The last thing that Timothy needed was them upsetting his sister in any way, and him having one more thing to feel guilty about, but at the same time, he didn't think that Kayleen would want him infringing on her business.

It was conflicting for him, considering that he did tend to overthink things like this, and he ran his hand through his hair, as he paused to ponder it for a moment. "I don't really have a problem with it, no," he confirmed, his words still a little bit slower than usual, signaling the uncertainty in the thought. "I will say that I'm pretty sure she has, or had, a boyfriend or something, so I doubt she would be interested, but as long as you're not about to come back to me with all of the details, I'm not telling you don't go for it." It seemed like the best response that he could give as a friend and as an un-involved brother, even if he still wasn't quite sure that it was what he should have done morally. He held, at least a little bit, of trust that both of these friends would be more careful with Kayleen, given her relationship with him, at least.

Once he entered the school building with the boys, the smaller area that they were now in, compared to the large and open outdoor quad, made everything feel more crowded. Katherine and the girls were still only a few steps ahead of them but Timothy was sure that with all of the students beginning to flood the building now, that he was bound to lose sight of them sooner or later. One would have imagined that that would have been no big deal, and that he simply could have texted Kat explaining that he'd see her later, but one who would have imagined that, would have been just a teenage boy with no experience. Timothy knew that that was the kind of thing, while minuscule, that could lead to a girlfriend getting upset, thinking that he ditched her, or didn't care enough to even say goodbye. Surprisingly, Katherine, a girl who was nearly known for her emotional responses to things, wasn't really all that dramatic with things like that. Sometimes, if her mood was right, she could be dramatic, but she wasn't a crazy girlfriend. Not at all. Still, Timothy knew that it was the "boyfriend thing to do", to verbally say goodbye before departing from her for the day, and he was content with that being a part of their morning routine. "I'll be back. Gotta go say bye to Kat, before she's got me picking out a yellow outfit for tomorrow," he said as he departed from the boys.

xxx"clipped wings, i was a broken thing
xxxhad a voice, had a voice, but i could not sing.
xxxyou would wind me down.
xxxi struggled on the ground."

So, Tristan-Castiel had already made up his mind, he was going to murder his brother. But not before he put his small hands around that uptight plastic.....no. He was going to calm down, he heard Sam's voice and sighed. A small voice, a female voice, sneered into the back of his mind. "Yeah, go run to you're boyfriend for protection, that's why you're socially stupid. You rely on others. the voice spoke, and Tristan-Castiel cringed a bit. He somewhat laughed at the male's comment about Alessia. When he had questioned him about what he wanted to do, the male just simply nodded. His eyes silently focused on the ground. "Th-Thanks for s-saying those th-things Sam-m." the male simply stuttered.

He slightly jumped when Zara jumped towards Sam. He would just silently hide his hands underneath the sleeves of his jacket. He would look towards Sam. Sometimes he felt like, Sam just felt pity. At other times he felt a real friendship with Sam. Tristan-Castiel somewhat guessed that's why he liked Sam. He was encouraging, and kind. Something the male himself aspired to be. The sophomore, would look towards the ground again. "A-Actually. I-I th-think I-I'm going to-o g-go to the mu-u-usi-ic room." the male would walk away waving a shy goodbye to the other group, and headed towards the music room, hoping to not be bothered.

What Alessia could never stand was irrelevant people not being able to mind their own damn businesses. Like, she was genuinely a sweetheart. If she wanted to be a bitch to you, then she would be such and most of the time (in her mind), you deserved it. She was only paying her due to Tristan, anyway. The relationship that they had would cease to exist if she didn't constantly fuel the flames of their very much mutual animosity towards one another. More importantly than that, it was their relationship - it was her beef with Tristan, his obvious dislike of her, and their exchange. If she needed Toucan Sam and his STD ridden sidekick's opinions, she would have turned her attention to them. But neither of them were even on the same playing field as she and Tristan, even if Alessia hated admitting to the idea of Tristan being anywhere near on her level. However, in comparison to the Boy Who Never Mattered and The Sluttiest Slut of Her Generation (and, yes, she might have tweaked her Harry Potter references, but they fit), Tristan was actually something. He was somebody and she hated the idea of having to entertain the existence of literally pieces of shit. But she had to; she had an audience. And for all her extra fabulousness, Alessia never failed to put on a show.

"All of this coming from the one dollar whore and...well, the guy who's somehow really good at keeping up with his paintings, but not his girlfriend," Alessia retorted tauntingly, giggling at each individual acknowledgement of the two people who inserted themselves into a conversation that had nothing to do with them. It really was Sam's fault if he wound up just slightly hurt by her reference to his failed relationship with Laylah. But in her defense (it's not really a defense, but it's definitely reasoning on Ali's part and that's what she's sticking to), he obviously wasn't good enough to be with her best friend on a platonic level, let alone in an actual relationship. That was a mistake she was surely ready to fix by setting Laylah up...when she actually found someone worthy. But Sam was never it. "But never you mind that, pauper. Pretty sure Lay can score herself a nice little prince to get by with tomorrow. Compared to you, definitely someone better," and Ali made sure to rake her gaze over Sam's form in mock consideration before smirking at his eyes coldly, "and bigger." She winked, despite Gigi shoving at her arm while laughing and exclaiming, "OMG, Ali!", but her point was proven and Alessia knew better to press so soon into the day. Giggling, she glanced at her girls and said, "Finding Lay now. See you guys in class." And she headed in without glancing at either Sam or Zara, but purposefully bumping into Tristan on her way to the front door just to make sure she entered the school building first.

It didn't even take Ali long to find Laylah. While there was a throng of students in the hallway on their way to class and lockers to empty out backpacks, Alessia recognized her girl without fail and hurried to fall in line with her, calling out an energetic "Gibby!" when she was behind her so that the jock could get the memo. Once they were side by side, Alessia was smiling, a genuine and bright one, at that. Ali even linked arms with the other blonde loosely as she was wont to do. "And what's there to talk about babe? You're wearing green since you're obviously hot and available, preferably not solid green as that wouldn't flatter your complexion and hair at all, but definitely something with green in it. Prominently green, but not plain. And you definitely have to let me braid your hair or something because as much as you and I both know I love your hair out and in its magnanimous glory, your cheekbones need to be on display so I can make those eyes pop. You're gonna be flawless."

Kayleen didn't know why she was in such a rush to leave Tim and his friends, because she had no where to rush to. She did make it to her locker, where she spent a few minutes sorting out what she wanted to take with her for the morning, and what to leave until after lunch, but after that, she still had around ten minutes until classes actually begun. Part of her felt like just going to her physics classroom and sitting down and waiting, but at the same time, while she was a new student here, she wasn't new to high school. She didn't want to be "that kid" who was the first to arrive to class, or to even just have to make awkward small talk with the physics teacher, if they arrived to class early as well. Back at home, Kayleen had been a big fish in a small pond, so becoming a small fish in a big pond was something she still had to get used to. In her defense, though, she knew that she didn't need to be so small, if she didn't want to be. Unlike other transfer students, Kayleen was not starting at the bottom of the social ladder. She was the half-sister of a Royal, and that in itself gave her a pretty big jump over a lot of students. It wasn't a step up that she wished to even really acknowledge though, because she was still in the petulant mindset that if she refused to adjust to this life, somehow, it would change. She would get her way and be able to return home. It didn't make any sense, and any person looking in from the outside would wonder why she simply didn't just make the best out of a situation where she had her father in the palm of her hand, as he did all he could to make her feel at home here, but that wasn't where her mind was. She had not reached that stage yet, and was still set on sulking and attempting to believe that this wasn't really her new reality.

With that in mind, it made sense that after a minute of pondering, she took the option of going to class early. There wasn't any other viable option in her head anyway, but had she been in a mindset where she did want to make the best out of this year, she definitely could have made a better attempt at being social. For one, she easily could have remained with her brother and his friends. His girlfriend, especially, seemed very friendly, and the other girl, Natalia, who came along as well, seemed nice enough. If she had not wanted to remain with them, though, she even still could have approached some of the people in the hallway that looked familiar with her. Even though she had only been in the school for two days, Kayleen was the kind of person who was good at remembering people's names. As she navigated through the hallway, she recognized Keara from her public speaking class, and Sebastian from history, and Kristen from physics, and Amanda from English. All she had to do was go over to one of them, and even just ask a stupid question that she already knew the answer to, like what time first period started, or what direction the restrooms were located in, and maybe that would lead to a real conversation that could maybe lead to a genuine friendship. She just couldn't bring herself into doing it though. Part of it was not having the motivation, knowing that as a senior, these people probably all had their own set friend groups and didn't need a stranger joining them. Additionally, what played into it was her own lack of motivation, and also, the fact that she didn't like feeling like she had to beg for friendships, when she came from a life of being at the top of the ladder, automatically, in itself.

It's not that Sebastian didn't enjoy hanging around with the other A-listers of Brentwood, much less that he didn't enjoy being one. It's more so the fact that Sebastian is sometimes, simply, exhausted of keeping up with the facade that he does. Truly, the only person that knows all of Sebastian for who he is, is Natalia. It is much less fortunate that aside from all the secrets he's either forced or feels the need to keep, his relationship with Natalia is among them. He struggled with keeping his secrets in the first place. For Sebastian, being something he wasn't took a toll on him. He wanted nothing more to share the truth about his home life, or the lack thereof. However, he knew that had the truth come out about his stint with homelessness, his brother's deteriorating mental health, his barely put together one-bedroom apartment, he'd promptly be cast out of the A-listers - shunned even - and be declared a fake, a poser. Not that he cared much about whether or not he was considered 'a royal' but more so the fact that some of these people are soulless individuals, angry enough to ruin one's life simply because they want to and can. Sebastian's life had been ruined enough and the last thing he needed was to be driven out of the very little he had left. So, he kept quiet about his relationship with Natalia. Although, he still questioned himself on what his relationship with Natalia truly was. It started as nothing more than sex every now and again and developed into something more. The truth is, he'd want more. But he's unsure of what she'd like and how to go about asking for such. Instead, he accepted what he had as is and left it at that. He kept quiet about it all, about every secret he held onto. Rather than exposing himself, he simply escaped the false he lived. He preferred being by himself most of the time anyway, so for him, it wasn't hard to walk from the other A-listers. And Natalia understood that.

This was one of those moments when Bas felt the need to step away. The night before, he had spent the night with Natalia but not before he had to take care of his brother who had a massive schizophrenic episode. Jamie's disease has been diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenia; the boy often has auditory delusions and can sometimes experience vivid hallucinations. Most days, he's able to control his reactions towards the disease but this night, JT wasn't able to. He was scared and began lashing out aggressively. In the process, he attempted to run out of the apartment on the fourth floor of the building, and rather than come back into the apartment like Sebastian pleaded with him, he ran down the stairs, causing him to trip and break his leg and fracture his elbow. Jt was taken to the hospital and after spending hours with him, Sebastian finally decided to get some sleep at Natalia's. And now, standing just outside his classroom door alone, just the thought of the last couple of days have exhausted him. He wondered when everything would fall back to normal. When everything would no longer be a fight to survive but rather, an enjoyment of life. As he waited for more students to crowd the halls and fill the classrooms, he messed around on his phone. Wishing, praying, that somehow it'd give him all the answers for his troubles. Luckily, he didn't have to wait long, though he wouldn't know it until later. The phone buzzed in his hands, a text from Greg. I've got a surprise for you. Meet me at the restaurant after school. Bas responded with a simple 'ok' and went into the classroom, sat down, and sent a quick text to Nat before putting his phone away and pulling out his books:

To: Natโ™ฅ
I want to see you. I need you.

Tim broke off from the group of boys and Lennox was left with Eli. Two boys so similar, it's surprising they never attempted to rip each other apart from the throat. Both boys have a playful personality, only some may consider one more heinous than the other in their form of humor. Lennox watched as Tim went then turned his attention back to Eli, "Come man, fuck off with that. You only thought of Kayleen because I brought it up." Lennox knew that no matter what he said to Eli, it wouldn't matter. The girl was fair game and normally Kayleen would be off limits being that she's Tim's sister. This situation was a little different and Lennox wanted to take advantage of that. The minute he laid eyes on her, his heart fluttered a little. Something it hadn't done in so long, Knox thought he was having heart palpitations. He rolled his eyes as he knew fighting the matter would only make it worse. "Whatever man, she'll never go for you anyway. She wants a real man, not just some pretty boy with mush for brains." Lennox said smirking, as he tapped Eli's chest, just to fuck around with him. "Don't worry man, I'll let her you know you make a great best friend." Lennox teased as he slowly started walking away from Eli. He walked along the girls and Tim now. He interrupted their conversation quickly before trotting off to find Rhys. "Kat, when you're done pussy whipping Timmy boy here, come find me. I need you for something."As he walked away, he joking blew a kiss to Natalia, knowing it'd annoy her. He lightly jogged through the halls now to find Rhys; who happened to be at her locker texting back Rhapsody.

To: Rhap
I like food.. where are you? I'll find you

As Rhys waited for Rhapsody to respond, she looked up to see Lennox coming towards her. "Just the girl I needed to see," Lennox smiled as he approached her. "What do you need now, Knox?" Lennox leaned against the wall, facing Rhys. He put his hands up in a defensive manner, "What makes you think I need anything from you? Can't a guy just want to see one of his beautiful best friends?" Rhys raised a brow at him and Lennox gave in. "Okay, fine. I need you to help me with Kayleen." Rhys took a second to figure out who Kayleen was. The name was still so new to her that she struggled to put a face to the name. "Kayleen? As in, Kayleen Cargill?" Lennox nodded and Rhys continued, "As in, Timothy Cargill's sister? Your close friend, Tim?" Lennox nodded again, this time with a shy smile on his face. Rhys stood momentarily confused. "And what could you possibly need my help with that for? Can't you get girls all on your own? You are the infamous Lennox Atwood, afterall." Lennox pulled away from the wall and stood up straight, he rolled his eyes and let out a sigh. "This girl is different, Rhys. She's not like these other girls who would kill to be at the top of the totem pole for a day. She's already there and she doesn't care about you if you're not. She'll never notice me unless I give her reason to." Rhys looked into Lennox's pleading face, "So? Then give her reason to." Lennox groaned what sounded like a soft growl. "You know what I mean Rhys." Rhys rolled her eyes, crossed her arms and sighed. She leaned back against the wall and give the boys plead a thought. She reluctantly nodded, "Fine, I'll help you. But how?" Lennox immediately smiled and wrapped his arms around her, gave her a kiss on the cheek "Ugh, I love you. Thank you! You're the best. And I don't know, you're smart. You'll think of something." Lennox ran off while yelling back at her, "Tomorrow. At the party!" Rhys smiled to herself, thinking: What a loser. Lennox finally met his match, a girl who couldn't care less about getting in his pants.

Nat's immediate response to Katherine's insistence that she wasn't a bathing suit probably wasn't what typical best friends had. She simply didn't react at all, or at least it didn't seem that way given the fact that all she did was stare at Kat for a second before turning her attention to her phone as Gabby and Kat prattled on about Ari, which was a completely different topic that Nat would have to actually focus on to have an opinion on Arizona's "uptight" personality. Natalia considered, without having to look at Kat's body, bathing suit options for the brunette to look out for. In moments like these, particularly when Kat's own insecurities and image issues were more at play than the brunette ever wanted to let on (and the fact that they had never really sat down and discussed Kat's eating disorder is a conversation for another day), Nat had to maneuver around her and the best way to do that would be to pick a bathing suit that Kat wouldn't mind wearing. The default color, considering Natalia knew that the other girl had a thing for thinking that she wasn't always thin, would be black if they weren't going to the party, but since Kat was definitely wearing red, Nat had to consider all of the recent bathing suits that came out and would compliment Kat's form without giving her too much to complain about in terms of the way her body looked. The most prominent of a reaction Nat could give, then, was the small smile in Gabby's direction once the blonde said she'd wear a bikini with her.

"That's a bit unnecessary, don't you think," Nat chimed in while texting back Ari, face scrunching up slightly before smoothing out just as quickly as she realized that Bas had text her only a moment after Arizona. Moments like these were definite clues that both Gabrielle and Natalia's thinking processes and reasoning were just a touch different. Nat wouldn't say that she was looking extremely deeply into Gabby's intentions by trying to convince Kat to wear yellow; she wasn't all-knowing, after all. But her mind played back to earlier to the way Gabby's hand fell on Tim's person and while she shook it off, the image was burned into her retinas along with the auditory memory of Gabs thinking that Kat needed to keep Tim "interested," whatever that meant for her brain to pick at later. She looked up then, first at Kat before glancing at Gabby and then back to her brunette bestie, and continued, "It's Tim, we're talking about. If he wanted to look elsewhere, he wouldn't have settled for being with you, Kat. Tim didn't do relationships before you, so in all honesty, there's really no time for keeping his interest. You've already got it, kotenok." Her voice notably softened on that last sentence and Nat reached over to place a warm hand on Kat's bare shoulder before gathering herself up mentally. She hadn't said anything that she said to undermine Gabrielle in any way, but at the same time, the mentality Gabby's words were going to put Kat in wasn't going to be conducive for a good shopping trip or weekend, if Nat knew Kat well enough. And if she was being forced to go shopping when she had an entire collection of bathing suits from one of her favorite Nigerian brands waiting at home to sort through should she change her mind and actually wear green like her friends insisted, then she was going to do so with a happy Kat. Anything less than that required a bottle of vodka to herself.

"I'm gonna head to class," she stated after a beat and with a small nod to Gabby and another comforting smile for Kat, Nat was backing away. "Some of us are taking an AP science and we already have a quiz scheduled for next Wednesday. I'll catch up with you guys later and you," Nat specifically pointed at Kat, "are definitely getting in that water, even if I have to pick out your swimsuit, ma'am." Walking away from the pair, Tim caught Nat's eye and she offered a considering look followed by a smirk before continuing on her way, texting both Ari and Bas as she went.

To: Ari
For one, you don't get over bisexuality. You deal with it and confront it, and I'm not saying confront Kat cuz that'd be a mistake, but maybe actually pursuing another female?? Maybe tomorrow? Also we're all going shopping after skool and Gabby and Kat are coming to my place tomorrow to get ready together. You should come

Kat could only nod in agreement with Gabby as she responded to her comment about Ari, but her smile faded quickly when the blonde turned the conversation to focus on her. Katherine was far more emotionally malleable than her friends, which was why Gabrielle's words admittedly probably did bother her more than they would other people. She trusted her friends and liked to believe that everything they said was being said with the best of intentions. Even so, though, she wasn't stupid, and she could think for herself more than she was given credit for. If nothing else, what resonated her was Gabrielle so casually claiming that cheating was genetic, and that she should basically just expect Tim to do it, if she wasn't constantly making an effort in keeping him interested. It didn't bother Katherine to an extent where it made her upset necessarily, but she knew that Gabby was a smart girl. She was smart socially, and academically, so making a claim that even Katherine knew was dumb, seemed odd. She supposed that maybe it was because she, herself, was a product of an affair, and she was well aware of how her father participating in that had nothing to do with her. She wasn't more inclined to be a homewrecker, just because her father had been one, years ago. Even if Gabby's claim seemed even a little bit logical, Kat easily reminded herself that following Timothy's father cheating, he had been in what seemed like a happy and healthy marriage for years. As far as Katherine knew, Mr. Cargill wasn't a serial cheater, and if it wasn't even something that seemed ingrained in the man's DNA, it made absolutely no sense to assume it would be passed along to his son.

Natalia's words allowed the caught off guard expression on her face to soften a bit, but she did nothing more than respond with a nod as the girl spoke, and eventually excused herself to get to class. Nat's words were the ones that Katherine preferred to hear, and a part of her wanted to just take those and pretend that she had never heard anything that had come out of Gabrielle's mouth, but that made her feel ignorant. She didn't want to be one of those girls who were blind to the problems in their own relationships, and now a seed of doubt had been planted in her mind. "He wouldn't cheat on me," she responded, in a way that sounded far less definitive than she wanted it to sound, and only after Natalia was gone. "And at least right now, even if I wasn't with him, I wouldn't want to be on the market." She paused then, her words probably sounding far more somber and serious than she was even comfortable with, so she added a smile in as she continued with, "Not with you out there as competition, now." Thankfully, she received a momentary distraction with the short return of Lennox, followed by Timothy slipping an arm around her waist. Knox had not given her enough time to even respond to his request for her to find him, but given that classes would be starting soon, she doubted that she would see him before they were both sitting down in chemistry class. Given that Kat didn't take the course as seriously as she should have, she was content with the idea of just discussing whatever he needed to discuss then.

"Sorry, Gabs, but if you don't mind, I've got to steal this Kitten for a minute," Timothy said, approaching the group that had turned from a trio of girls plus Lennox, into just a Kat and Gabby duo by the time that he had fully gotten over there. He had let Lennox off without even a playful punch to the arm after his comment, but only because he was out of reach by the time that Tim heard what he had said, and besides, he was also now more interested in Kat. With an arm still around her waist, and a playful smirk on his face, he pulled the brunette into the side hallway that he knew she had to go down anyway, to get to her locker. It was still busy over there, but less crowded than the main hallway, and he was able to find an empty area by some lockers to lead her to. Although he didn't bother to look to see if any teachers were around to begin with, he got lucky that there weren't any there to see him initiate the PDA, as he gently pushed her back against the lockers so that he could get a few seconds worth of kissing in.

Tim had acted too quickly for Katherine to decline separating from Gabby, but it was worth noting that had he given her more of an option, she probably would have insisted that they stayed with the Queen Bee. After the unsettling words that Gabrielle had left her with, Kat did not necessarily want to stay with her, but she was just used to the idea that it was unacceptable to simply abandon Gabby. Gabby had tons of other friends and Kat knew that it was silly to overthink it,but it still just felt like something that she wasn't supposed to do. Given Gabby's words though, and how Kat really didn't make the choice herself to run off with Timothy, she allowed herself to feel more relief than guilt now that they had separated. "You couldn't have stolen me at a better time," she said, her arms still draped around his neck, even though she had pulled away from his kiss. "But you know that I can't afford to be late to chem yet this year."

Today's physical education class had taken place on the athletics field, rather than inside of the school's gymnasium, because this week's gym topic was kickball. Being pretty competitive meant that Elijah was really up for any sport that they played in class, but he did enjoy this one more than some of the others. The class was divided into two teams of thirteen each, with Team A including Eli, Ari, Rhapsody, Kya, Rhys, Samuel, Sebastian, Katherine, Laylah, two other sophomores, another junior, and another senior, and Team B including Timothy, Natalia, Tristan, Zara, Alessia, Gabrielle, Giovanni, Lennox, Kayleen, three other seniors, and a junior. Because it would take five minutes for the students to jog back to the main campus from the fields, and they needed time to change out of their gym clothes in the locker rooms, their gym teacher, Mr. Lessig, yelled out onto the field that the next student up would be the last kicker for the day. With a tied score, Elijah grew tense with that call, considering that his team was currently playing the field, and that meant that their fate was in the hands of either how poorly the kicker on the other team was, or how well they could play the field.

When he saw that Tristan Castiel-Castellan was the next kicker in line, Eli's fears seemed to disappear as his signature smirk appeared on his face. "Bring it in, boys!" he said, acting as the self-appointed team captain that no one else had really agreed on, as he looked back towards the two sophomore boys, and a junior boy, who were playing the outfield. He knew that it wasn't nice, but in his mind, all he could say was "come on, there's no way in hell that this kid can kick". If he could, it would be one of those underdog moments from out of a movie, but Eli wasn't even considering that that was a possibility. Tristan was a meek, harmless boy who seemed like he would be the type to run away from the ball, if anything, so Eli was already content with thinking up teasing remarks that he could send in Timothy and Knox's direction once they hit the locker rooms.

The bases weren't fully loaded, but the opposing team had runners on first base and second base, so Elijah knew that unless Tristan's kick was caught in the air, all he needed to do was to make a kick that gave the runner on second enough time to make it home. Again, Eli was certain that that wasn't a possibility and that his team had this win in the bag, but he was comforted, at least, knowing that while he pitched the ball out, he had some of his more trusted teammates manning the bases. Just in case, he thought, as he took a breath and then with great speed, rolled the ball in Tristan's direction.

As soon as Mr. Lessig had said that they were going to play kickball for class, Nat had rolled her eyes and honestly been ready to walk out the door had Giovanni not excitedly wrapped an arm around her. The fact that he had managed to skip first period but wind up to school was a miracle in and of itself, but there was no mistaking the scowl on her face despite his exuberance towards the two of them being on the same team. Yet and still, despite her abhorrence for the game (she honestly would have rather had weight management or something of that nature), it wouldn't have been a real game if Nat wasn't feeling competitive and strategic. She didn't exactly call herself captain or anything like that, but there was no mistaking the fact that she was one of the tacticians for Team B. Which was why she bit back the triumphant grin that formed when she had run from second base to home, earning a tied score between both teams. On an exhale, Nat skidded to a brisk walk when she heard the teacher exclaim that this last kick would be the last one. It was good for her because she was starving and considering the fact that Gio was sprawled out on the grass along the sidelines looking like a bored five year old, she figured was just that time to have lunch anyway.

However, Nat's eyes narrowed on Tristan being forced to leave the sidelines to take up the kicker position and sighing because she genuinely wanted the water bottle she was forcing Gio to stand (well, lay) beside, she jogged lightly to be able to catch Tristan just before he could get into position, gaining a loose grip on his forearm. "Ey, podyshat' v techeniye minuty, nemnogo lyubvi,"{Hey, take a breath for a minute, little love.} she advised quietly, rolling her eyes when Mr. Lessig ordered, "Hurry it up, Santos!". Turning back to Tristan, Nat's eyes softened as she continued, "Ne stavit' vysokiye tseli. Tsel' na nizkom urovne. Kik, gde ona po-prezhnemu igrat', kak i gde Ketrin. {Do not aim high. Aim low. Kick where it's still playable, like where Katherine is.} Even if she wasn't particularly pressed to win, Nat still wasn't pressed to just give Eli an easy win, particularly when she knew what Tristan had to deal with without having to be teased over a small game in gym class. At least if he played it low, the other players would have to scramble to get the ball. It was too much of a gamble for him, of all of their players, to kick high unless they were begging for the ball to be caught. Nat gave Tristan's arm a small squeeze and smiled softly before releasing him and heading over to where the rest of her team was, hearing the tail end of Alessia making a complaint. Nat raised an eyebrow at the blonde, daring her to continue her probably scathing remark about the boy, but the girl only bristled, huffed dramatically, and then folded her arms. However, she also chose to remain silent. Giovanni snickered.

Awwwwwwww," he cooed at her, handing her the water bottle that Nat took several strong pulls of water from. "Mama Nat taking care of one of her babies." She turned a scrutinizing stare at the attire he had haphazardly tossed into his bag on a rush out the door and shook her head, smirking as she replied, "Don't project your mommy kink on me, durochka. Not interested." Gio pouted. "You wound me, Natty baby. I thought you loved me." Nat snorted wryly, which only prompted a small whine of "Say you love me!" followed by Mr. Lessig demanding that there be silence on the sidelines. Nat only chuckled, ignoring her friend's continued (but quiet) whine for attention as she proceeded to ignore him of paying attention to seeing how the rest of the game played out.

Samuel can do nothing but chuckle at Alessia's lame retorts, "How a girl like Laylah can hang out with someone like you will always confuse me." he simply says with a faint sigh, more disappointed by Laylah's choice of friends than anything else. Alessia's sharp comments about Samuel's social standing and wealth may have stung a little if it had been said by someone who actually had substance in his life, but as it was Alessia spouting pure rubbish and just trying to get under his skin, Sam decided to not give her the satisfaction of taking offence to it.

Zara, on the other hand, being the typical hot-headed rebel she is, was riled more than enough for the both of them. "Oh honey," she bites back, sarcasm dripping from her voice, "If you think I'm a whore you clearly don't know what big bro gets up to in his spare time." Zara can't help but smirk as she continues, "Believe me, he's been gagging for this but, y'know, I don't wanna catch anything." She manages to get in that last snappy comment before Alessia flounces off, her air self-entitlement disappearing with her. "Kids these days." Zara says by simple way of explanation, before changing her focus onto Tristan - someone that she had entirely forgotten was even still there - "Aw but Trissy, the funs only just begun." she beams, sending the shy A-lister a wink as she bounces past him and into the school building, hoping to catch up with some of her other friends.

Watching Zara waltz off, flicking a long strand of pitch black hair over her shoulder as she goes, Samuel can't help but somewhat envy that carefree attitude of hers. He wanted nothing more than to not care about what people think, but alas, Samuel was far too insecure for that, especially when it came to the opinion of those he cared deeply for; despite him maybe not being that for her, Laylah was still definitely someone Samuel cared about and therefore her opinion meant a lot to him, so if she felt the same way as Alessia did about him, Samuel would be heartbroken (even more so than he already is). As Tristan also decides to make an exit, Samuel pouts but understands how Zara's energetic personality may have put him off, stays silent. Giving the guys shoulder a squeeze, "I'll see you at break then." Samuel smiles faintly before following after Zara and heading into the school building.

| Fourth Period |

Samuel had never minded sports, despite usually choosing to be a spectator rather than a player (most often at Laylah's games) Samuel did in fact, have a liking for PE. Although his body was suited best for cross country, Samuel was actually rather pleased when Mr. Lessig stated they were going to be playing kickball. Zara, on the other hand, wanted to skip the class all together. Sure she was fit and healthy, but that was down to doing fun exercises like yoga and working out in her gym at home, not playing a ridiculous game of kickball where she would undoubtably get hit by a flying ball - or so she feared. The only thing that made Zara go to the lesson was her competitive side, she hated sports but she loved winning.

"Ah, Miss Sai, so glad you've finally deigned to grace us with your presence." Zara gives Mr. Lessig a small, fake smile as he comments on her surprise appearance as he passes by. It wasn't often that Zara made it to his lesson, not only because PE was certainly not her thing but also because she could not stand the man. He was far too sarcastic for her liking, and while Zara would usually appreciate that in a person, for a teacher she preferred someone more easily riled - that way she stayed entertained.

Pausing for a moment as he walks past, Mr. Lessig scowls at her attire, "You seem to be missing part of your shirt, Zara." he comments, looking at her self-cropped tank top. Zara had taken the regular school tank and cut it so that it just grazed her belly button, deciding upon wearing it with high waisted leggings and a basic pair of Nikes. "Oh, Mr Lessig, the most awful thing happened - I was washing this lovely tank top and it shrunk!" Zara lied, her bottom lip jutting out into a pout as she feigned sadness, "I knew I had your class today so I figured some uniform is better than no uniform, right Sir?"

Samuel does nothing but chuckle as Mr. Lessig walks on with a simple roll of his eyes, of course he didn't believe Zara but the man had better things to do than reprimand a girl he knew adored getting into trouble."I don't know how you always get away with it," he sighs, both impressed and miffed that he could never do something like that. Unlike Zara, Samuel stuck to the school dress code, wearing the kit he was given after they accepted his scholarship; typical school shorts, a white top and basic trainers.

The two are quickly sorted into separate teams, much to their dismay. Samuel is placed onto Eli's team who had decided that he was team leader with no objection from anyone else. Looking around his team for this lesson, Samuel's chest tightens when his eyes land on Laylah. Biting down on his bottom lip, Sam tries to keep his focus on the game happening in front of him but can't help sneaking the occasional glance at Laylah.

Tristan-Castiel slightly stumbled when he was bumped into. The small kid would nod and wave him a goodbye, attempting to make one to Zara as well. He quickly moved towards the Music room, so he could have a quiet place to practice his own music, without being disturbed.

|| Fourth Period ||

Okay, so physical education, was not something Tristan-Castiel was fond of. But still, to keep up his grades, he would be forced to attend. He silently changed into his normal gym outfit, completed by his own Captain America jacket. He silently stood by Sam, and Zara. His sea green/blue eyes would widen when he noticed he was not put on the team of Sam, but with Natalia.....and Alessia. His form would silently move towards the area his team stood. He would hold his jacket closer to him, so he wouldn't be hit by anything. As if it were his own shield.

"Ey, podyshat' v techeniye minuty, nemnogo lyubvi,"
he heard an older female speak. His body slightly tensed up, as he turned to see Natalia. Following her directions, he silently took a breath. ""Ne stavit' vysokiye tseli. Tsel' na nizkom urovne. Kik, gde ona po-prezhnemu igrat', kak i gde Ketrin." the girl spoke again. Tristan-Castiel nodded and would respond. Da! Spasibo Mat' Natal'ya .... YA imeyu v vidu ..... Spasibo Natal'ye! [Yes! Thank you Mother Natalia....I-I-I mean.....Thank you Natalia!] the male would blush a red color as he focused and got into the position. His dark blue eyes would focus on the ball coming from him, aiming as Natalia told him. He bit down on his lip, as he felt the ball come into contact with his foot. He winced, as he saw the ball roll at a rather fast pace, and took off towards the first base position.

"Kat! Wake up!" Ari yelled to the girl who was farther out in the field. She had tried her best to keep a safe distance between herself and Kat during the class. She wasn't actively avoiding the brunette, because even in her stressed out state over their friendship, she knew that the idea of ignoring Katherine was simply unrealistic. She didn't want to ignore her anyway, because as conflicted as she was about the unwarranted feelings that she had developed for Kat, what she was certain of, was that she loved the friendship she had with Katherine. While the girl's quirks got on her nerves from time to time, there was nothing that she could do that her jovial and exuberant personality couldn't act as a remedy for. So, when they were placed on the same team, Ari was good about chatting with Kat throughout most of the time while their team was on the kicking end, since they were just waiting in line for their turn. However, to maintain that distance she needed, she had elected to man third base while Katherine had taken the less involved route of being one of the people playing the outfield... which in her book, essentially meant standing as far away from the action as possible so that she could spend the period texting without Mr. Lessig noticing. Ari was athletic, and even though volleyball was her preferred sport, it wasn't hard for her to get into the right mindset for other games like kickball. She wasn't incredibly competitive about it, but she could keep up with those who did want to win dramatically, and had done her part by catching a pop up ball earlier in the game and tagging out two runners who had tried to make it to third base.

It was the final kick of the day, and with only runners on first and second base, Ari doubted that the other team would score, especially with Tristan kicking. He would have to kick it far enough to allow the runner on second to get to third and then home base in one kick, and though Ari was far nicer to Tristan than a lot of people, she was also realistic. And realistically speaking, Tristan just didn't seem like an athletic kid. If he could make a kick that would get the second base runner to third, Ari would be impressed at just that. Needless to say, part of her wanted to smile when Tristan managed to kick the ball and send it soaring right between first and second base, just so that it was out of reach for the two infielders who dove for it. The idea of smiling vanished quickly when she remembered that her team's win was on the line, and even more quickly when she realized that the ball was rolling right towards the part of the field that Kat was "supposed" to be guarding. A game that looked like it was a surefire win at that point, quickly grew to appear like it would be a hopeless loss. It was all the more frustrating knowing that there were athletic people on their team, like Laylah and Bas and even Eli, though he didn't need any more credit than he already gave himself, and while Ari was hopeful that another teammate was close enough to step in and save them, she wasn't in a position where she could do much, and only bit her lip in anxiety, ready to catch the ball if it was thrown her way.

Kayleen was relieved that she had not ended up in any of the high-activity areas on the field during the duration of the gym class. She wasn't dreading the game so much that she would have ran away from the ball, should it have come in her direction, but like most things right now in her life, she simply wasn't looking to get involved. She had purposely chosen positions on the field that seemed like the least likely areas to receive any action, and she had done well enough when it was her turn to kick that there wasn't an abnormal amount of attention focused on her. Her kick had allowed each runner to move up a base, and that was all she had wanted. Luckily, she was already back in line now to kick when Mr. Lessig announced that the game was over after Tristan went, so she was able to breathe a sigh of relief that that was all she had to do for the class. She didn't care what happened next, and though part of it related to her uncaring attitude, she was also oblivious to Tristan's reputation and how a lot of her teammates were probably on edge at the idea of him holding their team's fate in his hands. She didn't notice what was going on at all, really, and was more focused on checking her phone every time the teacher seemed enthralled on what was going on on the field. Keeping her eyes on her phone wasn't any better for her, mentally, considering that being reminded that her friends were all moving on with their lives at home without her made her feel just as lonely as being present in her reality, and feeling lonely knowing that everyone here had friends and she didn't, but it made her feel less awkward and vulnerable than standing alone and begging someone to interact with her.

Timothy, on the other hand, was far more involved in the game. He was on second base, and after Natalia had made it home to tie their score, all he needed to do now was make it home, too, to win the game. He was certainly competitive, and Elijah's smugness today only made him want to reach that home base even more. If anyone was going to do the locker room trash talking, it was going to be him. He certainly never would have said it aloud, but like Nat had told Tristan in Russian, Tim was thinking too, that the only way that he would have enough time to make it to home base was if Tristan kicked in it Kat's direction. Even if she wasn't purposely trying to seem uninvolved, she managed to. If it wasn't her phone that she was looking at, then it was another student, or maybe she would even just be staring off into the distance. Regardless, he knew that even if she was watching the game, there was no way that she would care to react quickly enough to a ball rolling towards her, to interfere with him making it to home base.

Even as Natalia gave Tristan what appeared to be a quick pep talk, Timothy was still doubting that the boy would even be able to kick the ball. It only represented how wrong he and most other students were, in constantly dismissing the boy as being useless, but he really imagined Tristan to be the kind of kid who would swing his leg and somehow completely miss the ball, or if he did magically manage to kick the ball, that he would kick it right into Elijah's arms. Timothy was already inching off of second base as Eli rolled the ball towards Tristan, in his head, reminding himself that even if Tristan made a horrible kick, it was worth it to just sprint to third and then home, because the game was over after this regardless. He didn't even wait to see where Tristan's kick landed as he darted off of second base, though he would have been lying to claim that he hadn't heard Ari shout to Katherine in the mix of all of it. If Kat asked later on, he would probably tell her that if he had known the ball was coming to her, he would have moved more slowly to allow her her own shining moment in being able to tag him out or something, but what was more important now was winning the game and being able to throw that in Eli's face.

Sebastian stood in the outfield. He was placed there by his team to ensure that had the opposing team had any super kickers โ€“ though, unlikely โ€“ someone wouldโ€™ve been able to catch the ball aside from the girls who ran from it because they were scared they would break a nail. Most of the time, Sebastian would be into the game, competitive as all hell. Today, his mind was elsewhere and though he was mostly present for the game, he didnโ€™t feel like taking gym seriously today. His eyes wandered from Natalia to Tristan, as the two discussed strategy before it was the boys turn to kick, to Lennox who was so desperately trying to grab Kayleenโ€™s attention. It was almost painful to watch as the boy relentlessly tried sparking conversation with the very uninterested girl. He chuckled to himself and shook his head. As Tristan stepped up to the plate, Bas could hear Eliโ€™s voice, arrogantly calling for the team to move in as it was doubtful Tristan could kick the ball that far, let alone at all. This was the last play of the game before everyone was going to be sent in to change and then head to lunch, and all Sebastian could think about was Natalia and whatever the surprise Greg had for him was. The ball was kicked and was sent directly in Katโ€™s position, who of course was not paying attention โ€“ but neither was Sebastian. From the side lines, Bas heard his name being called out. โ€œSebastian! Katherine! Look alive! Fuckinโ€™ move!โ€ Sebastian snapped back to reality fairly quickly to see Rhys waving her arms trying to grab his attention. As the ball whizzed through the field, Bas looked to see the direction it was headed in, only to notice that the recipient of the ball was down on one knee tying her shoes. Sebastian groaned and pushed off his back foot into a full sprint to catch up with the ball that was moving past Katherine. He picked up the ball as it rolled deeper into the outfield, and launched it over Katherineโ€™s head back into the infield, hoping heโ€™d caught the play in time to put a pause on whoever was rounding the corner of third base to score. Bas was already preparing himself for some shit talk from Eli who always took gym too serious.
He was just waiting for Mr. Lessig to tell them all to hit the showers so he could go eat.

Katherine didn't hate gym class, per se, but it definitely was not her favorite thing to participate in. If she didn't dislike academic courses so much, it would have been easier to claim that she hated physical education, but compared to the math and science courses, it was harder to complain about this one. She was athletic enough that if she put some effort into the class, it would have been an easy A for her. Gym was still school for Kat though, and that meant that automatically, her interest in it was lower than it needed to be. She would gladly run on the treadmill at her home, but somehow, being expected to do that at school made it seem agonizing. Needless to say, she was far from thrilled when kickball was announced as the game of the day, and even less thrilled when Natalia and Gabrielle were placed on different teams than her. She still had friends on her team, like Lennox and Ari, but both of them cared too much about the game to act as equally uninterested teammates to keep her occupied all period. By the last inning of the game, she happily found herself an unoccupied nook of the field that didn't seem to get any action all game, and remained there. Though she heard Mr. Lessig announce that he game would still be over, she barely even looked to see who was kicking, nonetheless actually take the time to process that Tristan was probably the last person his teammates wanted making such an important kick. Honestly, she wasn't even aware that the score was tied and if you had told her that her team was losing by one hundred points, or winning by that, even, she would have believed you without a second thought.

The announcement that the game was nearing its finished came at the right time, because she was growing antsy standing out in the heat. Her shoe wasn't even untied when she had bent down to tie it, but untying it and retying it seemed like a good idea to look. She had caught Mr. Lessig eying her, and after doing nothing all period, she knew that she needed to at least be doing something to fill the time, rather than just standing there and making it more obvious that she wasn't participating. Considering how spaced out she had been all morning, she knew that she needed a good grade this semester in physical education because she wasn't going to get it anywhere else.

It was just Kat's luck that the ball would be kicked to her at the worst possible time, and the expression on her face represented that, as she scowled in the direction that the ball had come from once Rhys and Ari's shouts woke her up. Sebastian had already grabbed it and tossed it back towards the front of the field, hoping to make a play before the team could score, but Kat couldn't have cared less about that. To her, it seemed like a personal offense that Tristan had kicked the ball in her direction. She immediately wanted to play the victim, partly out of embarrassment, because everyone watching the play could clearly see that she wasn't paying any attention (even though that was nothing new for her), and partly because that was just in her character. That part of her was quick to convince herself that Tristan had purposely kicked it to her to make her seem like a fool, and that it was downright unfair of him to do that while she was clearly busy tying her shoe. Additionally, that irrational side of her had her turning her head back to glare at Bas, who had done absolutely nothing wrong, as her inner monologue wondered who he thought he was to come into her area of the field when clearly she would have gotten over to the ball when she was ready to. "You always need to be the center of attention, don't you?" she snapped in his direction, despite knowing good and well that he had actually saved her from embarrassment, and probably being yelled at by their teacher for being distracted. Obviously, her bitter inquiry was based on more than just the silly kickball game that she still found impossible to focus on, even in these tense last few moments.

"Thank God it's Friday!"

Location: The Brentwood School
Outfit: x
Mood: Focused
Gym class had actually passed by fairly quickly for Gabby. If it wasn't for the California heat most days, she would have been able to say that she actually enjoyed coming outside for the class. It was an easy way to break up the day, and seeing as it came right before lunch, it was the perfect way to work up an appetite. Like the rest of her schedule this year, she was also able to say that she was pretty satisfied with her placement based upon her classmates. Most of the senior girls who were a part of her clique had gym third period, but given Gabby's ranking and social standing, it was never a struggle for her to find people willing to talk to her. Having Katherine and Natalia in this class, on top of other Royals, like Timothy, Lennox and Sebastian, made it all the more easier for her to find the class to be pleasurable.

Gabby was no jock, that was for sure, but her personality also made it easy for her to become competitive, if the game could spark her interest enough. Kickball wasn't incredibly exciting for her, but she did her part to actually try to help her team win, and that effort was what landed her on first base during the final play. Natalia had kicked, and then Timothy had went, and Gabby's kick had allowed Nat to make it home, leaving only her and Tim on the bases when Tristan was called up to kick. While Gabrielle wasn't one to outright bully anyone who had not done her any wrong, even she couldn't stop herself from rolling her eyes and internally groaning at the sight of the timid boy making his way to the plate. Out of everyone on their team, it just had to be him who was going to make or break the game. Timothy was an athletic guy, and Gabby was convinced that if anyone would be able to make it home, it would be him, but Tristan had to give him something to work with, and she was unsure if he would even be able to do that. Nonetheless, she readied herself to run, even though she knew that at this point, her role didn't mean much. Timothy would either make it home or he wouldn't, and that would be the deciding factor in the game.

Eli hadn't expected Tristan to be able to kick the ball at all, nonetheless kick it into a perfect spot that gave him, and Gabrielle and Timothy enough time to start running. Eli had automatically spun around to watch the ball head towards Katherine, and had started stepping backwards while doing it, while yelling for her to throw it to home, where he was heading. She was oblivious, and though it took only a few seconds, the amount of time that it took for Bas to step in and grab the ball felt like eons to Elijah. Beads of sweat were running down his forehead, partly due to the heat, but mostly out of stress, as the kickball sailed through the air towards, him but not quick enough. A foot on home base, he caught it just after Timothy had reached him, and Mr. Lessig was quick to shout, "Safe!" to declare a win for the opposing team. "Safe? Are you kidding me? I had at least three solid seconds over him, and you're gonna say that he's safe?!" Elijah was lucky enough that even in the heat of the moment, he was wise enough to refrain from throwing some expletives into his objection, since they were definitely on the tip of his tongue. In reality, Mr. Lessig's call was probably accurate, even though it undeniably was a close call. Timothy's foot had hit home base just a second before Elijah had caught the ball that Sebastian had hurled his way, so at the very least, Eli's claim of him having caught the ball three full seconds before Timothy had even reached the base was dramatic, at best. "Sore loser" was probably the best way to describe Eli at times like this. Given his competitive nature, coupled with his upbringing where he always got his way, losing wasn't something that he knew how to work with, even at seventeen years old. He would never admit that he lost fairly, and somehow, it was always a bad call, or cheating, that had allowed the other team to win, if you asked him.

In this case, he had already proclaimed that Mr. Lessig's call was garbage, but as he turned back to examine his teammates, who were making their way in from the outfield now that the teacher had proclaimed that the game was over, and they could all head back to the locker rooms, Eli also decided that the teams had been separated unfairly. Suddenly, he decided that the other team had ten times as many athletic players as his team did, and he automatically wanted to dispel any talent that his teammates who actually were jocks, had. Even though Laylah had made countless good plays throughout the day, he wanted to blame her for every play that she had missed, even if she hadn't been positioned anywhere near the ball at that point. In his head, had Bas gotten to the ball sooner on this play, or thrown it a little faster, they would have won by a long shot. Lennox was being as useless as ever, and God forbid he even comment on the other players, like Katherine, who he could blame for costing them an entire's game worth of effort. It was amusing, really, how worked up he could get over losing a stupid little game, that literally counted for nothing, but it just went back to how badly he hated losing. Rather than being a good sport and congratulating Tim and that team on their win, or even just being a semi-normal person and actually annoyed, but not actually angry, it was very clear with Eli that he was pissed. He headed off of the field without even bothering to wait for any of his friends, but as he passed Tim and the home plate area, he said, "Save the comments for a day when you fairly beat me. If my team wasn't absolute shit, you wouldn't have even made it to first base to begin with. I'll sit out the next game and take an absence for the class before I get stuck on a team with your girlfriend again. I'd take the mute over her, and that's saying something," he said callously, as if thinking Tristan was superior to Kat was a real insult. He continued walking after he spoke, knowing that he was red in th face for more reasons than just being physically overheated.

As far as head knew, the ball was still rolling in the outfield as he neared Ari, who stood with an anxious expression on her face. His foot hit third base, the one she was guarding, but barely remained on it, as he continued running, now with his eyes set on home plate. So in the zone, he only focused on running, and it wasn't until Mr. Lessig's deep voice hollered out that he had made it home and was safe, that Timothy's senses kicked in again and he allowed himself to focus more on the rest of the chatter going on on the field. He had missed Katherine being caught clueless, Bas stepping in to make an attempt at saving the game for his team, and in turn, receiving undeserved anger from the brunette. It wasn't until after he had caught a water bottle from a teammate who threw one in his direction, that he tuned in to Eli throwing a hissy fit over his loss. Just because Timothy knew Elijah, he could do nothing more than laugh when his best friend walked towards him and attempted to justify his team losing. Eli was lucky that Tim was the kind of guy who just rolled with things, and rarely got worked up over anything, because even his attempts at trash talking Katherine had Timothy just shaking his head in amusement. "Whatever, man. It's just a game," he called out after the boy who was already walking back towards the campus. Once they reached the locker rooms and were out of the watchful eyes of their teacher, Tim would find it easier to taunt Eli over the loss more, but for now, in public, he was happy with appearing like the bigger person.

With that in mind, after chugging the water bottle that had been tossed to him, Tim plucked an unopen one from the sideline and made his way over to the sophomore who was coming off the field from first base. "Castiel!" he called out, knowing that was what Tristan went by mostly. "Nice kick, man. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have been able to send Eli crying all the way back to the locker room," he grinned, pointing to the fellow blonde who was storming off the field. "You know, I'm having some people over tomorrow for a party, and you're welcome to come. It's a stoplight theme, so basically, if you wanna hookup with someone, come wearing green." Admittedly, Timothy wouldn't have thought to invite Tristan had he just not become the center of attention for the moment with this kick. Tristan didn't seem like the biggest social butterfly, but anyone who could give Timothy a reason to piss Eli off in a playful way earned some respect in his book, and knowing that Tristan had managed to make A-list friends anyway, inviting him seemed like a harmless endeavor. He would have continued chatting with Tristan had Samuel Youngblood not come into his line of view. Distracted now from Tristan, Timothy took a few steps towards Sam, who he would consider a friend, though not a close one. "Not sure if you already got the memo from Kat or someone, but I better see you at my place tomorrow night too, dude," he said, assuming that Sam had overheard some of what he had said to Tristan. Noticing Zara near him, too, Timothy smirked. "And Zara, as long as you remember that I'm taken and that means you'll have to muster up enough self control to keep your hands off of me, than you're more than welcome to stop by too." Truthfully, Zara had been the one to reject him a few years ago, and though Timothy obviously wasn't bitter enough about it that he still wanted to hook up with her now, he couldn't help but to let his ego tell his version of the story, sometimes.

If Alessia could be honest, she was just a touch pissed. Okay, so she was all kinds of pissed and it wasn't just because of whose team she was on. As petulantly ridiculous and as spoiled as she can be, even she could see that she had the advantage that the other team did not. There were serious athletes on her team and sure, Giovanni De Luca was not an athlete and Tristan was definitely not one (not to mention Sam was nothing but shit), but she had good people. As much love as she had for Kat, the girl was just a no and so when she watched Katherine totally miss a rolling ball that literally could have been stopped with her hand, Alessia had to count her blessings because she could be dealing with the little bitch fit Eli was probably mentally throwing since Kat had surely confirmed their team as losers. Which sucked for them, but still.

No, what made Alessia mad was one, the fact that they were playing a children's game. Seriously, kick ball? She could literally be having it up running suicides (which wasn't fun, mind you, but it beat this kiddie bullshit, in her mind). More than even that, the fact that she kept getting hushed and treated like a child had her ready to claw a bitch's eyes out. Particularly Natalia's. "I mean, seriously, who the hell died and made her captain?" She muttered childishly to Gigi, who really only shrugged but didn't really respond. Which served to piss Alessia off a bit more because it was like Nat demanded obedience for no apparent reason when last Alessia checked, she was the US citizen here. Her rights were that she had freedom of speech and so if her speech consisted of actually giving advice and critiques (namely pointing out that Tristan was shit even though he surprised everyone by following Nat's plan since he damn sure didn't think of that on his own), then that was her right as an American citizen. But all it took was one look from head cheerleader and even Gigi was acting like her little bitch. And yes, Alessia was pointedly ignoring the fact that she herself had shut up when Nat glanced her way and had done as she asked when prompted for plays. None of that meant she did it happily.

"Awwww come on, Blondie," Gio decided to call over to the blonde because 1.), she wasn't as quiet as she thought she was considering they were literally all together and away from the field, and 2.) she was only a few people away. Gio and Alessia's relationship was rather nonexistent, but his knowledge of the beef between his girl and his friend's little sister wasn't. He turned to catch the blonde's raised eyebrow, taking in the defensive way she folded her arms over her chest. "Either you really just really like the sound of your own voice since that's the only reason you keep talking shit over there like Nat can't hear you or you just really are bitter cuz you've got a crush cuz that's the only reason I can think of as to why you consistently have her name in your mouth." Which made Alessia tense up and Nat smirk lightly, though one wouldn't be able to tell if they were directly beside or in front of her as she was facing the game. Which looked really to be in their favor. Alessia's face formed various expressions and she could feel the heat rising to her cheeks, but glared at Gio anyway. Even when she heard someone snicker. "Bite me," she snapped. "All ya gotta do is ask," he sing-songed in retaliation. And since the game was pretty much over, Alessia huffed and stormed onto the field, ignoring the little thing between Tim and Eli in favor of making her way over to Kat.

"Come on, Kit Kat. It was just a game," she reassured the brunette, though she definitely glared at Bas as well since she had glares to spare, resentment in her chest, and because she had a feeling it would make the brunette feel better to have someone on her side. Even if Alessia wasn't far gone enough to not realize that it was Kat who was in the wrong. "It was a stupid childish game that you'd literally have to have no skills in to feel proud of winning. I mean, seriously, what kind of a gym teacher makes kick ball the activity of the day anyway?"
